jasmine langdon

Jasmine Langdon is a fashion designer based in Sydney.
Being raised in two small regional towns, she developed a deep appreciation for community, nature, and the subtle intricacies of everyday life.
She is passionate about creating bold, unique pieces that sport bright colours and leaves a strong impression. Her work is distinguished as a juxtaposition of textures, colours, and shapes that portray one cohesive idea.
Heavily influenced by streetwear, skate culture, and the urban landscape around her, Jasmine aims to celebrate individuality in her pieces, representing the endless beauty in the individuality of everyone around her.

“WOVEN
IN MOTION”
is a unisex 5-body collection that aims to capture the feeling of organised chaos. The use of bright, warm colours, such as oranges, pinks, and a variety of reds combined with layered silhouettes and an array of tactile and visual textures, including pleating, applique and cutting are some techniques used throughout the collection to create this feeling. Inspired by the early 2000s skate and rock culture, motifs of worn denim, plaid, and oversized silhouettes are repeated thoroughly throughout the collection, revoking a sense of familiarity and comfort among the viewer. The collection encapsulates personal views on the world and aims to embrace individuality and the importance of chaos.
