The award itself, recently presented to Marc Valentine and the team at The Rushcliffe Golf Club is in recognition of their outstanding achievements in presenting a course to golfers throughout 2019 that is unrivalled in the region. On receiving the Your Golfer award for a second year, Club Manager, Marc Valentine commented: For the second year in a row it is a privilege to be voted East Midlands Golf Club of Year by Your Golfer Magazine. The Rushcliffe Golf Club is proud of the accolade awarded to us and committed to continuing to improve our fantastic facilities whilst maintaining the warm welcome offered by our members and staff. 2019 saw an unprecedented number of visitors play our wonderful course and, with the help of fantastic awards such as this one, we hope to welcome more golfers from all over the country in 2020!

The Launch of The Rushcliffe View Restaurant & Bar Housed in the multi award winning Rushcliffe Golf Club, The Rushcliffe View Restaurant & Bar opens its door officially in March with the focus on providing delicious home cooked food using the freshest locally sourced ingredients open to the public seven days a week!
Taking its name from the fantastic vista on offer from the Clubhouse, the launch of The Rushcliffe View Restaurant & Bar epitomises the forward thinking and dynamic nature of this historical Golf Club. With the ever-changing nature of the golfing economy taking its toll on traditional private members’ Clubs there is an ever-greater need for Golf Clubs to adapt in order to continue to prosper. The introduction of a new Restaurant & Bar facility open to the public seven days a week will help to safe guard the future of The Rushcliffe Golf Club. Under the stewardship of Chris Maden and Lisa Ironmonger, alongside their highly skilled head Chef Simon Williams, the team in place have a fantastic reputation of producing a broad range of exquisite meals. When asked about this new initiative, Club Manager Marc Valentine has this to say ‘The launch of The Rushcliffe View Restaurant & Bar represents a wonderful opportunity for The Rushcliffe Golf Club to diversify its offering and continue to promote itself as a welcoming and attractive proposition to golfers and non-golfers alike. Given that we already have a fantastic reputation for our golfing facilities, having been voted ‘East Midlands Golf Club of the Year for 2019 and 2020’ by Your Golfer Magazine, The Rushcliffe View offers us the opportunity to maximise all of our brilliant facilities and offer members and visitors an unforgettable dining experience. I would encourage as many people as possible to come and pay us a visit and see for yourselves what we have to offer’. The Rushcliffe View Restaurant & Bar is open seven days a week with catering initially available between 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday Carvery served between 12pm-4pm. Catering is available outside of these hours on request and prebooking is encouraged particularly for Sunday Carvery given its popularity.
