Improve your comfort, st with custom made C Your feet are unique to you and yet no mass-produced shoe can match the exact shape of your feet, even some expensive shoes are provided with flat insoles that offers no support whatsoever. Therefore, long established Medical foot orthotics manufacturer Bespoke insoles have introduced its products for you to buy direct from their website, from the comfort of your own home, no need for a medical.
So how does it work and what are the benefits? Tremendous forces pass through your feet with every step you take and with the average person taking 5,000-10,000 steps per day your feet get a huge amount of punishment! Bespoke insoles will actively support the plantar surface of your foot, providing more stability and making sure your feet don’t overstretch which could result with debilitating conditions like plantar fasciitis. When you have this accuracy of fit with your instep, or medial arch, you can perform better as it provides an extra surface to resist against, whether that’s rotating in your backswing or running through the park. Since your feet are better supported there is less movement in the shoe, less friction, less heat, less sweat! Keeping you fresher for longer. Bespoke Insoles help you feel great on the course, they can help promote better balance providing a more a stable platform from which to execute your swing, giving you more power and control over your shots. Correct foot support eliminates overpronation (arch collapse) so can help with knee, hip and back pain issues. The base of the insole is made from a hard material to give you long lasting support, better posture and alignment. The upper is an anti-bacterial a shock absorbing material called Spencore which contains Silpure Antimicrobial which also helps reduce foot odour.
What is the process? Simply place your online order you will be sent an oasis foam impression box for you to press each foot into, this creates an extremely accurate reproduction of your foot shapes, all instructions are provided. Pop it in the freepost box and drop off at your local post office. Your foot shapes are then laser scanned with a red light 3d laser scanner, your insoles are computer aided designed by an experienced lab technician. The design is then programmed into the CNC milling software ready for manufacture, after the milling process, which coincidently also machines your name in the bottom of the insoles, they are checked, and hand finished ensuring the highest quality is maintained. A shock absorbing, anti-bacterial and longlasting cover is adhered to them, before they are dispatched 1st recorded delivery back to you. Can’t walk for eighteen holes?
Now you don’t have to…
‘Hop-on and hop-off with Xtrider’ Golf is often seen as a passive sport which does not require any real degree of fitness. In reality golf demands cardio vascular exercise, strength training, balance and coordination. One of best parts of golf fitness is the walking that is involved with a surprisingly high amount of cardiovascular activity involved in the sport. However, as golfers become older in years, they may not be as keen or as motivated as they once were to walk a full eighteen holes and, some may even cut their enjoyment to just playing nine holes of sport they love. Say hello to the revolutionary new electric trolley, Xtrider which has arrived to allow golfers to stay involved in the sport and get as much enjoyment as they can from the fairways. The Xtrider electric trolley allows individuals old and young to enjoy the game of golf, whether walking the fairways or hopping on the ride-on trolley during their round.

The Xtrider trolley is ideal for golf courses with tough terrain and hilly inclines and gives players the choice of walking with a traditional golf trolley or riding on the fantastic Xtrider golf cart. Designed and engineered by inventor and golf enthusiast, David Bone, the Xtrider golf trolley converts to a ride-on in seconds and is powered by an easily-replaceable Lithium Ion battery capable of 36 holes of golf in one charge. There are different scenarios and penalties for players that hit the incorrect ball during their round of golf. These are outlined by the R & A:
Match Play
If a player makes a stroke at the wrong ball, he loses the hole. If the wrong ball belongs to another player, its owner must place a ball on the spot from which the wrong ball was first played. If the player and opponent exchange balls during the play of a hole, the first to make a stroke at the wrong ball loses the hole; when this cannot be determined, the hole must be played out with the balls exchanged.
Stroke Play
If a competitor makes a stroke or strokes at a wrong ball, he incurs a penalty of two shots. The competitor must correct his mistake by playing the correct ball or proceeding under the rules. If he fails to correct his mistake before making a stroke on the next teeing ground or, in the case of the last hole of the round, fails to declare his intention to correct his mistake before leaving the putting green, he is disqualified.
Mark your ball!
A company which was formed with golfers in mind, stampyourballs.com was founded by Inventor and Managing Director, Paul Green who once made the fatal golfing error of playing the wrong ball. Following the mishap, Paul set about developing a product that eliminates the risk.

Founded in 1892 with the help of Railway Company money, the Silloth course was originally designed by Davy Grant and has since evolved, with contributions from classic golf course architects, Dr Alister Mackenzie and Willie Park Jnr. Located in one of the most remote and isolated areas of England in the Cumbrian countryside and at the mouth of the Solway firth, Silloth’s fairways meander through the mature dune flora reminiscent of true linksstyle golf courses with tough, true greens providing a true test of links golf.
With spectacular views across the firth, overlooking the Scottish Borders and Lake District, the blooming heather and patches of gorse that is in abundance make Silloth’s rolling fairways a safe haven. Located on the outskirts of Bolton, the delightful Deane Golf Club is over 100 years old and for those seeking a truly traditional golfing experience on a parkland golf course, it ticks all the boxes. A private members golf club, Deane is famed for its friendliness to visiting parties, large or small in numbers and is considered to be probably amongst the best, it not the best of the Bolton and District golf courses. The 18 hole course has seen lots of improvements to its layout since 1971 and further changes to the layout have been made from 2001 when the land which the golf course is on was purchased from the Duke of Norfolk Estate. The course is 18 hole situated along the valley of the River Croal and offers panoramic views of the West Pennine Moors.
The course is a good test of golf for all ranges of golfing handicaps. There are lots of stand out holes on the course, such as the Par3 141 yard 13th hole, Deane's answer to Royal Troon's famous "postage stamp". Immediately followed by the par 4 14th hole (S I 1) once described by Sir Henry Cotton as a "Par 4 that would grace any of the Open Championship Venues". The Par3 16th measuring 203 yards is considered by many of the local golfers and Deane Members as one of the toughest Par 3s in the Bolton area. The course measuring 5,677 yards over 18 holes offers a wonderful test of golf.
Steeped in history
The original 1906 clubhouse was burned to the ground in 1915 and the current clubhouse dates back to 1920. However the clubhouse and its facilities have recently undergone a major extension, refurbishment and modernisation programme. This involved a total makeover of the ground floor facilities including a new bar, an additional "Sports Bar" with Sky TV and pool table. The professional shop has been extended and there is an indoor swing room complete with Skytrak. (Skytrak technology offers members and visitors a club fitting service, lesson with our fully qualified PGA Pro and an indoor playing facility on "bad weather days"). A resurfaced car park together with a security entrance/exit barrier are all recent additions to a golf club looking to offer best possible service to members and visitors alike.

The 234 acre site includes the 21 acre Barston Lake, the centre-piece of the West Midlands golf course. An undulating parkland layout, the West Midlands golf course is a modern English golf course in its style with an American influence.
Mature trees and subtle contours call for accuracy from the tees and good course management to shoot a low score whilst the course’s signature hole, the 18th features a splendid island green, a par 3 reminiscent of the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass in Florida.
West Midlands Golf Club now also features the UK’s longest golf hole. Measuring 666 yards from the yellow tees and playing as a par 6, the aptly named ‘Devil’ opened in June 2018. A huge 725 yards from the championship tees, the hole has replaced the previous par 4 8th hole.
e Devil’ at West Midlands Golf Club
The Devil is only the third in the UK and, from the white and blue tees, it is longer than any other hole in the country.
