The Great Book of Dragons 7+ Illustrations by Anna Lang - Text by Federica Magrin

What would you do if you found a dragon’s egg? First of all, an apprentice dragonologist should study all of the characteristics of these unpredictable creatures beginning with the Western ones and working toward the Eastern ones without forgetting the oddshaped ones or the ones who behave a bit strangely. Having read all about the origins of dragons and learned everything there is to know about their anatomy and character, the young dragon trainer will find the information necessary to train a young dragon in this book. Instructions include how to prepare its meals, how to make it obey, how to ride it, how to keep it healthy and how to manage its mood swings. This book is the ideal guide for anyone who wishes to adopt a dragon or who simply wants to get a closer look at the world of these fantastic creatures that are not always the terrible monsters they are often made out to be; they are also strong and intelligent beings and are sometimes valuable good luck charms.

Love in the Animal World They Lived Happily Ever After

7+

Illustrations by Isabella Grott - Text by Valter Fogato Humans do not need words to express their feelings. They can use a smile, offer a gift or simply be there. In this way, we humans are a lot like our animal friends. Even when spiders, fish, birds, in other word all types of animals are young and meet someone they like, sparks fly and love is born. Each animal has its own way to win the heart of a mate that in some cases will be its mate for life. This book is a collection of love stories starring romantically monogamous animals like wolves, eagles, lovebirds and penguins. There are also the stories of animals whose courting rituals are surprisingly creative, like the dance of the blue-footed booby or the synchronous flashing of fireflies. The result is truly an ode to love, tender and ironic, fun and colorful, thanks to the stunning images created by Isabella Grott.

The Kingdom of Colors

7+

Illustrations by Isabella Grott - Text by Cristina Banfi Sometimes the incredible colors of an animal’s feathers or fur or skin is a defense mechanism and sometimes it is a tool for hunting or attracting a mate. But we find that the stunning colors of the animals that populate this book are first and foremost an extravaganza, an amazing feast for the eyes, beautifully portrayed in Isabella Grott’s rich, luxurious illustrations. Tree frogs and parakeets parade through the pages of this book. So do monkeys and butterflies, tropical fish and snakes and many other animal species. They are depicted in their natural habitats and together with their pictures, you will find information and curious facts about the influence that their colors have on their lives. They all have something in common – their infinite shades of bright red, blue, purple, yellow, orange and green confirm Mother Nature’s incredible imagination and joyfulness.

100% Full-Size Bugs

8+

Illustrations by Isabella Grott - Text by Valter Fogato Scientists have discovered more than a million different species of insects that every day, in every part of the world, live their very diverse lives. Many fly, others walk or bore through wood. Some are pleasing to the eye, like butterflies; others, like cockroaches, a bit less. For the most part, insects are small – sometimes so small that you need a magnifying lens to see them – and that is the way we are used to thinking of them. But in this book, the insects are presented in their actual sizes and in many cases readers will be genuinely surprised to find some veritable giants among them. The book includes other impressive insect characteristics – how much they weigh, how fast they are, how large and small insects differ from each other – all of which can be seen in the life-size illustrations that make the insects seem as though they have just landed on the page.

MAD FOR MATH SERIES

Become a Monster at Mathematics!

6+

Illustrations by Agnese Baruzzi - Text by Linda Bertola Why do so any children run and hide from multiplications and decimal numbers? Perhaps because they haven’t yet found out just how much fun there is to be had in math. . . In particular, with these two new books in the series Mad for Math, children will find out that math problems can be surprisingly fun when done with the entertaining monsters from the planet Zot, and that fractions are completely different when you learn them together with a band of pirates and Greg the parrot! Thanks to the brightly colored and exciting places, young readers will have to help the characters to solve enigmas and problems with mathematical calculations. The journeys are structured in a gradual and intuitive way: the main aim of these innovative activity books is, in fact, to help children learn independently, encouraging them to use their brains to understand the mathematical rules while playing. This is why there are no definitions or abstract formulas in these books. Children can however check their answers against the solutions found at the back of the books. This series of didactic and educational books will teach children that not only can you play with math‌ you can even have fun! 56 pp + 8 pp with stickers 210 x 297 mm soft cover

The first two volumes, Home Sweet Home! and Where’s your Mommy, T-Rex? are made by 6 pieces that teaches children to link each animal to their home in the first book and all about the little T-Rex in the second. This is a sure method for children to learn with ease and above all having lots of fun! Ronny Gazzola was born in a little town near Venice. After the diploma at the artistic high school and through workshops and several international competitions he approached illustration. He has worked as freelancer with several companies.
