Students will learn fundamental hairdressing and customer service skills to start a hairdressing apprenticeship. This includes plenty of practical experience to support the essential theory delivered. Scheduled salon days and other promotional events held throughout the programme provide students with valuable practical experience working on customers.
PROGRAMME INFORMATION >> Hairdressing students learn the skills to analyse the hair and scalp, shampooing, blow-drying, applying colour (highlights and foils), conditioning treatment and hair-ups. Learn to provide professional consultation to clients. >> Salon skills students will gain experience in providing professional customer services in a salon environment including welcoming clients, daily workflow procedures, telephone skills, booking appointments and reception skills >> Product knowledge students will learn how to display, sell and maintain professional hairdressing products in a salon/clinic environment. >> Health and safety students will be trained by industry professionals and receive industry recognised First Aid qualifications. >> Salon days students will gain extensive practical experience during professional salon days which are held regularly throughout the programme.

Graduates can apply to enrol in the Certificate in Beauty Therapy or other provider training in hairdressing or beauty therapy.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Graduates are qualified to gain employment as apprentice hairdressers
