NEW ZEALAND CERTIFICATE IN HEALTH AND WELLBEING (SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY SCIENCES) Learn about child development and promoting child and whānau health in this programme for people working in well child services. It focuses on children under five years in clinics, client’s homes, marae and Pacific health settings.

PROGRAMME INFORMATION This programme is designed for students who are providing Tamariki Ora Well Child services for children under five years of age within the context of whānau or family under the Well Child framework. The 4 compulsory courses are: >> Whanaungatanga Building Relationships >> Safety and Practice in Community Health Work >> Community Health Work Practice >> Leadership and Cultural Responsiveness

FURTHER STUDY OPTIONS Graduates can apply to enrol in one of the Whitireia health programmes. QUALIFICATION Graduates gain a New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community Services)
