Programme information This programme is aimed at assisting students with the necessary skills to gain employment in the infrastructure works industry, together with the knowledge and skills to work safely. Areas covered on this programme include: >> Traffic Control (TC1) >> Using and maintaining small plant and equipment >> Use and care of hand held power tools >> Knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation on civil construction sites >> Communication skills >> Vehicle care and use

Career opportunities Graduates may seek a career as a cable layer, traffic director, pavement layer or in general infrastructure maintenance.

Qualification Graduates will gain the National Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 2) and the Traffic Control 1 certificate (TC1)
