This programme is designed for people who wish to work under the supervision of a lawyer whether in law offices, government offices, local authorities, or in a business with in-house lawyers, such as a bank. The emphasis of this programme is to teach the practical skills required by a Legal Executive; it is not of the academic nature of a law degree. A Legal Executive works under the supervision of a lawyer in areas such as: >> Sale and purchase of real estate >> Preparing a business >> Debt recovery They may also be involved in areas such as: >> Tenancy agreements >> Wills >> Court documents This programme is offered by Whitireia and is examined by the New Zealand Law Society.

Gain practical, hands-on experience working in our on-site training cafĂŠ.
