AGENT RENTAL CUP
Customer Electronic Signature: Electronic Signature is currently in Pilot at our Reading location (0666-10) only. At this time all is going well. We will begin piloting 4 Districts the first week of June, and tentatively expect to begin rollout by mid to late June. Further details will be provided in early June.
Congratulations to Waterloo, NY for winning the first round of the rental cup! The separation really came with the participants of the monthly conference call- remember each is worth 10 points for attendees and negative 5 points for absentees!
Changes/Impact to Field: •E-Sign will be available for Rental Agreements, Misc Receipts, Reservations and Tow Riders. Inspection Reports are excluded from the scope of E-Sign. •Customer will only sign manually on the paper document if the card reader is not functioning, or Rental Net is down. •Users will obtain copies of E-Sign documents within Rental Net using the Quick Print option.
FIREWORKS The summer holiday season is fast approaching. With this in mind please remember that fireworks of any kind are not to be transported in Penske rental trucks. This rule is with the exception of the following: American Promotional Events, also dba TNT Fireworks - National Rental Account 1362 Pricing and procedures are listed in RentalNet. This is a unique customer that handles only consumer related fireworks and has demonstrated the stable properties of their product. This customer has been approved by senior management and has met our financial net worth and insurance requirements. All insurance documents, overrides and agreements have been received and approved by Insurance Risk Management.
Benefits: •Initials and signatures are electronically transferred directly to respective documents. •Signed documents are stored electronically, and are retrievable on Rental Net. •Less paperwork sent to the PNC lockbox by Agents. Reduction in chargebacks resulting from inability to find signed Rental Agreements.
