Author: Soledad Romero | Mariona Cabassa From the reader report by: Ei Nakayama
The theme of this book is the eternal cycle of change, life and death, as seen in all natural phenomena and lifeforms. The book has a round hole in the cover to represent this ‘circle’ of life. This work can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, with every page a riot of color.
The book reawakens us to the mystery and sanctity of nature and life by revealing how everyday nature, animals and people all exist within the cycle of life. The book also warns that this apparently-eternal cycle is actually in danger of ending. It is a profound work that inspires feelings of love towards nature and life. Younger children in elementary school will be able to read this by themselves, but it can also be read to preschoolers and it will prompt some interesting conversations between parents and their kids.

Synopsis: Everything that exists in the universe comes to an end and then begins again. Nothing disappears totally; everything transforms in some way or another. When winter finishes, spring blossoms; after the night comes a new morning; and fruit that falls to the ground grows into a new tree… These are the magical cycles of the universe, and this book introduces the reader to a few of them.
