Pick-up times are available by placing your selection in your basket - don't worry there's no commitment to buy! Due to the nature of our business all website bookings are provisional until confirmed by us. We ask you for your preferred seating allocation during the booking process and will confirm your seat numbers after you have booked. Tuesday 5th City of Wells Wells is one of Britain’s secret gems and a fabulous destination for a day out; proof that the country still has much to admire! Sheltered beneath the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills, it combines a wealth of historic interest and beautiful architecture. Wells qualifies as England's smallest, and Somerset's only city because of its amazing 12th century Cathedral. The wells, which gave the city its name, are located within the grounds of the Bishop's Palace, which is still the residence of the Bishop of Bath and Wells. The tour takes in some of the most important areas of the Palace in which Parliament meets, and explains what Parliament is and does, what it has meant to different people at different times, and how it came to be what it is today. Most of the buildings seen on the tour were built in the mid 19th Century following a devastating fire, but the route also incorporates some of the earlier buildings, such as Westminster Hall. After being collected from your home around 6.30am we travel to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing. We shall arrive at the excellent overnight Ibis Hotel near Saran, (Bed & Breakfast) at approximately 7.30pm. Leaving the hotel after breakfast we travel through southern France before entering Spain and arriving at our second overnight hotel in Lloret de Mar. The Hotel Olympic Park offers excellent accommodation with a huge choice of food for dinner. (included) Onwards to Benidorm. Arriving at the hotel around 5.00pm. Relax, settle into your excellent hotel and enjoy the facilities and happy atmosphere around Benidorm. During your time in the town we have included 2 half day excursions. We follow our outward route and arrive at the Hotel Olympic Park Hotel around 5.00pm. PAIGNTON - Queens Hotel Famous for its long sandy beaches, level promenade and colourful pier, Paignton lies on England’s beautiful English Riviera on Devon’s southern coast.
