OBJECTIVES for 2010-2011 • To upgrade the image of the The CATALYST through imposing standards • To prioritize the college department by making The CATALYST the ultimate source of information for the students • To serve as a venue for honest student feedback
OBJECTIVES for 2010-2011 • To help develop a better inter-school relationship, school spirit, and involvement • To be more immediate and accessible through the utilization of available technology
PLANS • Proposal for a creation of By-Laws and VisionMission – To protect the integrity of the school paper – To be aware of the goals and the functions of the organization – To identify the duties and the responsibilities of every member – To be more organized, through the definitions of policies, protocol and expected standards
PLANS • Creation of a Needs Assessment Survey – to tailor published content to the needs and desires of the readers
PLANS • Furnishing of The CATALYST Office (located at the mezzanine of the College Testing Center) – To have a venue where the members can meet and work effectively – To be more accessible to the members and to the rest of the student body
PLANS • Proposal for an online edition of The COLLEGE
CATALYST – To be more timely and relevant with the activities of the College department – To be a venue for information dissemination – To eventually become the primary source of information for the students
