Introduction.
The second edition of e-Book is a design/research dossier of selected works from early stage of my professional design career (2000-2004). The aim of this e-book is to give a good perspective of my idea/thought/creativity through image-text mapping. At the end this, hopefully this e-book can give a good idea of myself as a designer and may inspire others.

3.Design project
3.1. 2000 1.Triacte Concept: Wisdom = putting together: synthesises and integrates. There are 3 important key words that reflected 3 functions (three - act) of this chair, new birth (as a tatami chair) is a representative form from a condition where human as a pure human being. Self-indulgence (as a sleeper) is a condition where they become more aware with their own need and their own fulfilment. And wisdom (a chair as it should be) is a condition where they start to realise their vicinity existence, and their existence as a social creature and as an individual. It is a condition where they are able to see, observe and judge their vicinity with the eyes of mind and envision their wholeness relationship and unity. The design concept is emphasised on how to put difference elements together to make as a whole and unity. Each element will add it own and group value when they come together and emerge as a whole. Materials: Solid Polyurethane (translucent), Polished Aluminium Tube, Cast Polished Fastener Steel Dimensions: H 625mm(total), W 400mm, L 400mm Elements: 2 side supports (interchangeable right and left) 1 seater (it contains the back storage on the top surface) 4 steel fasteners 1 aluminium tube (back support)

Snug, comfortable or sheltered place. 3.Set of similar thing of different sizes made to fit inside each other. (v) Make and use a nest. (Oxford Adv.Dictionary, 1989. p.830). The design was inspired by the idea of being nested. Base on that idea, the chair tries to draw our memory and experience as a baby, while nesting on the mother's womb before giving birth. The design does not only create a casual comfortable chair but it is also as an art object. Materials: Cover: genuine leather or polyurethane fabric. Filling: prefabricated foam filling gel under prefabricated double durable skins plastic cover Construction: wire steel frame as the backbone and polished/unpolished stainless steel legs, with adjustable legs base. Lining: Nylon.
3. Ego EGO= (n) self. EGO design idea was based on the theory of independent that interdependent, as parts that will form the whole. Each product is independent that has its own character and function, while at the same time it dependent to other. Together with others they will form a new functional lifestyle/health product (whole). Base on the idea of being self, self-contain and self-fulfillment, EGO will accomplish men's daily lifestyle/health care on one compact product. EGO accommodates his body health/care and lifestyle need, as EGO= adaptor, plaque remover, shaver, body and health care liquid, and SMS/organizer loader. It designed to accommodate everyday, anytime, anywhere, and anyone lifestyle from its portable and stylish design as the whole (materials and colors combination range being used). The EGO compact shape and its materials were chosen for rough use and for any environment (land, sea, or the sky). While its compactness, its design interface and its ergonomics shape will make it easy and comfort to use or to carry, while at the same time it become a new statement of personal independence. The EGO and its packaging were made from the materials that comply with environmental high grade recycling.
3.2. 2001 1. Jojo
2. Willie 21.06.2001 The design idea (the shape and the system) was inspired from the two stages of insect's metamorphosis (from pupa to adult insect). While the whole design idea was based on the idea of seat that made using less materials, and at the same time it will take shorter period for assembly/separation processes either at the fabrication (both manufacturing and high grade recycling) or by the user, and how it will be transported, and storage. And as seat its design is clear (visually and functionally), useful (including its life span), comfortable, ergonomic, safe for the user, had inner beauty (poetic and humor), original, harmonious with its surrounding (because of its universal style) and affordable/economic (including its environment impact). The Willie will encourage the user to discover the poetic behind its design (by themselves) from its packaging (as pupa/chrysalis) and at the process of assembling it, as a design that does not unfold action but a metaphor. Dimension: Storage (mm): W 400, H 175, L 525 Seat (mm): W 400, H 775, L 525 Materials: wood (beech/cherry or walnut), polished aluminum both solid and hollow for the legs and joins. Finishing: natural finishes (clear color coat)
3. Infino 26.06.2001 Size: h 120 x l 45 x w 5mm Materials: -flexible durable transparent plastic (cover), with blue gel filling (as isolator, and low energy transmitter). -LCD screen and cover will be integrated to the whole system (as safety, efficiency and aesthetic consideration). - polished solid and hollow aluminium /stainless steel. Technique: Construction blow up attached. Main Functionality: -As mobile phone: phone, address book, organizer, SMS (short message service). -As watch (folded): phone (with wireless earplug as the receiver), watch, weather forecast update, quick organizer loader, quick SMS loader, GPS (global positioning service)/compass. -PC/PDA wireless synchronization capability via smart antenna (communication between two devices via modem card or any available two ways communication card). -Battery and charging transmitter integrated to the product body. Charging using heat transmission into the flexible heat transmitter power charger storage. Concept: Infino= infinite- infini (FR)= continuous link/connection= endless= bring many different elements to form one continuous streamline = continuous connection. The design idea was inspired from the shape of infinity symbol and its idea behind. Therefore INFINO will bring continuously together human's daily need and activities, from home to office, from home to the street, from land/sea to the sky into one design product.
The basic idea is to bring many different essential daily activities such as: communication (passive and active), working (both home and office), time organization (business, leisure and family), socialize (keeping the flow of connection with others human being) and surrounding activities (in this case the weather forecast) into one easy access device. While technology, lifestyle, design efficiency, functionality, ergonomics and green design, also take into the whole basic design consideration. The device will accommodate all continuous link (passive: to make self happy and oneself need fulfillment and active- to interact and life as a social creature) between self and to the outside (self) regardless the space and time border.
4. Move Move is a multipurpose mobile device for e-generation that always in move (move in space and time, means they will bring their personal space, style, time, and work wherever they go, regardless the outer space condition enclosed them). The design idea was inspired from the form of infinity that symbolized the boundless and seamless continuous connection (between human body and everything outside it) as never ending e-lifestyle. Move means integrated, smart portable, stylish, flexible (anytime, any occasion, any task, any space and any one), easy to use, easy to maintenance and easy to keep. Materials: LCD screen integrated with low semi conductor color gel inside flexible double layers polypropylene. With solid aluminium ring as the accent (watch) that is containing microchip and other operational integrated hardware devices. Dimension: W50 x L250 x T3 mm

While the design and its design concept was based on the Tantra (Tibetan religion philosophy) theory and system: a process of weaving or bringing the surrounding elements together for self full enlightenment, where the center is the essence, and at the same time the circumference that is grasping, thus grasping the essence. Therefore the future talisman should be a smart talisman that can fulfill the wearer wishes within seconds. It makes the person wearing it can get ever connected to everything he/she wishes beyond their natural bubbles (personal space, time and space limitation). The talisman will work like small radio transmitter (talisman> nearest phone box/transmitter center inside10m range> destination) while at the same time it can download small pre-saved data (for instance family or friend photos) from their personal database (personal PC or other digital devices that can be accessed via modem). Materials: case from polished aluminium/stainless steel with protected integrated LCD screen. The operation circuit and its battery will be integrated inside the steel case. While inside its storage, the storage will become the power charger to the device (heat transmission power storage system). Dimension: W40 x L40 x T5mm.

7. Pupa Pupa= pju-pa= insect in the stage of development between a larva and an adult insect <oxford-advanced learner's dictionary>. Pupa= a new sensual experience to explore the wonder of the nature. The idea behind was inspired from an inspirational stage of the insect metamorphosis process, from the larva to an adult insect (stage to form a cocoon), to create a new inspirational bathing experience. The process of the cocoon construction will be experienced through the shower experience from its dual water sources: the ceiling and the smart rings. The ceiling water source will have function for ordinary shower, it accommodates adjustable multiple functions for half/full stream, concentrated/broad stream and soft/brisk stream. While the two smart water rings will create the new sensual shower experience through their pulse message jet and soft/brisk stream function. The water rings are working automatically (up and down), after the moving style and water type are selected. Its height can be set according to the users height (adult male/women). All the functions: stream type, water temperature and the style of bathing, can be accessed through its waterproof touch screen LCD monitor on the smart tower. The device was designed to create the unlimited sensational bathing experience with limited space and limited water usage or waste. Its smart tower will accommodate the water distribution, the power source and the mechanical device to operate the smart rings. This shower tube does not only can create an inspirational shower experience, but at the same time it can reduce the cleaning/ maintenance time from its automatic water/air suction. By pressing the finish button, all the water sources will switch off
automatically and the rings will go up to their base and after few minutes later, with time allowance for the user to left the tube, the suction will automatically on, to dry remains water on the all interior surface. It will keep the tube interior stay dry and clean for the next user. The Pupa design is simple, and clear while at the same time innovative /smart design.

Camaleonte (camaleonte= adaptable fast) is a basic gadget for every future urban nomad. Urban nomads are a new society definition for urban society that has put bigger portion of mobility in their daily lives and where the barrier between space and time no longer exist. It will allow them to stay, live and move from one place to another place easily using the concept move, plug, unplug and play (easily adaptable to the new environment they). This gadget will accommodate the user for easy access of basic lifestyle and daily need. It will help the user to interact with other things seamlessly in term of access and data exchange: in banking, travel, medical and general communication. While the gadget itself will be very dependant to the user and the environment. It operates using two power sources: solar cell and human energy (body heat+ blood pressure) while the data saved inside the gadget required a Personal Digital Assistance (PDA) or other low frequency digital device in order to conduct data exchange via its antenna (the gadget only can access and transfer the data but for editing it requires another devices such as PDA. While the watch and the weather will be update via general broadcast information center, the watch will be update automatically according to local time). The gadget design is very light, compact and stylist in order to facilitate seamless interaction between the user and the gadget (will become a part of the whole human body rather than an additional device). Finally the integration of the user and its gadget will become a symbol of urban nomad identity (where the integration of high technology, mobility and independent lifestyle has become a personality).

It has function as digital ID (data entry- exchange with mobile phone, PDA or other devices that may be available using bluetooth system), digital watch, house/car key, GPRS, ATM card, phone card, electronic transport ticket, short messaging service loader or as pager, and as weather or emergency alert. The microchip holder can be opened and inserted or just flashed for function as ATM card, phone card, electronic ticket and home/car key. Evolue only consists of three parts- integrated screen/circuit board, battery, and microchip, it means easy to produce for mass production and easy to discard (disassemble) for recycling. 7. Nomads NOMADS- urban nomads global ID card Nomads is a global identification card, made from transparent recycle plastic. It is a durable and wearable ID card (as pendant). It has function as ID card replacing current function of ID card, passport, bankcard, phone card, air-ticket, boarding pass, insurance card, health card, smart tag, and home key. It consists of three identifications /data storage: barcode, microchip and microchip with perforated security identification authentication. Barcode will be used for daily identification. It contains name, birth place-date, address, occupation, ID number and 2D photo. On the front face, the barcode with perforated security identification authentication. It was inspired from water (drop of water) -space (air, wind, atmosphere) - surface (planar surface) relationship, and to look at how bubble was created from that relationship. Bubble is a water form transmutation because of external factor that influence their surface: vicinity gravity and wind velocity. When Brio in used (filled with water) it will animate the drama of that relationship among the container itself (as water bubble), table (as planar surface) and sunray where this assemble will be accommodated. 9. Gioco Gioco= game (I) Gioco= lalitavistara= sanskrit word for the unfolding of the play. Gioco is a reversable chaise lounge- bench/easy chair. It was designed using the tradional way of furniture joinery and modern living sensibility to create new ingenuity furniture system.
3.5. 2004 1. Velum Velum Velum= a woven cloth, membranous structure. Velum is a stylish lightweight glasses made from flexible durable polymer. It consists of glasses and integrated nose pads only, that makes velum very enjoyable to wear for any place, time and occasion. The glass itself can be added with pattern according to our mood by using exchangeable glass protector sticker. It works using bend and press system that makes velum very easy to wear.
2. Areola Areola Areola= latin word for bed in a garden= day couch. It is for relaxation, for body and mind therapy, and for romance. Areola is a day couch that created using intertwining bamboo strips as the couch fabric. Bamboo strips being used for its material character- durability, texture, strength, eco-product and its romantic value- give the user village experience previewnatural beauty-inner soul of the bamboo itself that will lead the user to use their imagination. Bamboo is very unique material, as it is a strong material and at the same time very flexible. Therefore the Areola will move according to the user body movement that makes this couch very comfortable and enjoyable while in use. While the use of metal mainly for structure and give modern look for the overall design.
3. Ec’cetera Ec'cetera Ec'cetera= contemporary art and new urban fabric for interaction. Ec'cetera is a contemporary art where in its creation encourage the audience actively involves in the creation of art, and the audience itself will become an object of art. It is an art object where the blend of the space, the people, and their interaction (object- space and people) make a contemporary art. Ec'cetera can stand as a new vocal point to the local area due to its colour, texture and materiality. It will soften the strong character of the existing fabric and makes it lively, and at the same time as a magnet for the people to gather and then makes interaction with others or with the space itself. The main element of this art object is grass that grown on independent modular system. On the vertical wall the grass module integrated with LED lighting system, that has function as lighting at night time and also can function as screen for interaction with the audience, it can display short text that sent via mobile phone or PDA or others bluetooth capable communication devices. While the smart digital screen, during the day it will be able to interact with the audience using their mobile phone/PDA both as text or image, while during nighttime as animate images of people passing by on the street level. Ec'cetera=contemporary art, piazza, street gallery and kiosk.
4. Pandora Pandora: Mini mobile gadget is a key for social interaction, relaxation, personal companion and dream/imagination fulfillment. Pandora is a dream box to be discovered. It is a MP3 player, radio, mobile phone, pager, organizer, calendar, photo frame, digital key and as a pendant. Its shape inspired by medusa or moon jellyfish for its simplicity and mystery that attracts curiosity and being able to seduce imagination.

6. Zuzu Zu- Zu Zu-zu= toy, monster buddy, smart pet. Is for playing, for sharing, for communicating, for entertaining and for working. Zu- zu is a USB storage unit holder, that working independently as mood pet and as USB status display while the USB unit on its place. It is also as temporary storage for data transfer while the USB unit is not on place. Its antenna has function as data transfer/exchange point for communication with another zu-zu or any mobile devices via bluetooth, it communicates via low wave frequency (from one desk to another desk on open space office, from one room to another room inside a house). The holder unit and the USB unit also communicate via low wave frequency. Zu-zu designated for indoor use only. Zu-zu is made from Dupont- Hytrel for its material characteristic consideration (mechanical properties between plastic and rubber, high elastic elongation, high fatigue resistance, chemical resistance, stable mechanical performance over large range of temperature). Zu- zu powered by NC Accu- heat induction charging for compact, performance and safety consideration especially for children person with disability.
7. Maya Maya Maya= the mother of illusion. Maya= imagination, discovery, shadow drama, mystery. Maya is a combine light and fan inside a translucent ball. When the ball closed and the light on, we can only see the shadow of the feather-the fan propeller from the outside. When it open the feather will be spinning and the light-made from LED lighting will be rotating on its axis. The design concept of Maya is to draw user curiosity and then to inspire their imagination to discover the mystery behind the Maya creation. It is a hidden imaginative story that should be discovered and to be reloaded according to the user fantasy. It intends to please the mind and the soul of the user while at the same time comforting their body.
8. Ombra nell’aria Ombra nell'aria (shadow in the air) Ombra nell'aria=imagination, ingenuity, ambience maker, mystery. Ombra nell'aria is a combine fan and light. The translucent fan shade/enclosure also has function as lighting-hollow injection tube with LED light inside. While on the top of the fan propeller there is another light with glow in the dark material, therefore when the light off and the fan off, we can still see ambience light passing through the fan shade. The design concept of Ombra nell'aria is to create shadow on the air both while the fan- light off and on. When the light- fan on, we can only feel the breeze and see the shadow of the fan movement on the shade or in the space within but not the fan property itself. Mystery light (glow in the dark) and mystery movement of this creation will draw curiosity of the people in the area and inspire their imagination to discover the untold image drama.

Alegria Alegria Alegria= happiness; expressing elation, joy and jubilation (spanish) Alegria= flow, drifting, transition, body gesture- relaxation, freedom-private sanctuary, social gathering, indoor- outdoor atmosphere dialogue, body- soul-space dialogue. Alegria is an integrated and exchangeable restroom system. This system integration is inspired from the wave of the watercoastal drift and the shape of the human body. Therefore this system will provide new bathing definition and experience for its user. It is a restroom and at the same time as place for personal private sanctuary, reflection, and relaxation. While at the same time can be function as a place for social gathering among friends and family members. It is a transitional space from public to more personal space and at the same time as a place where the dialogue between bodymind and space takes place
10. Camaleon Category: wrist-based and wearable Title: Camaleon Concept: Camaleon= (n) camaleonte- chamaleon Camaleon= freedom, freedom= nothingness; skin on skin; transformable; visible- invisible. The idea of the camaleon is to create a time keeping device that is able to give new definition to the user lifestyle and at the same time as a functional smart device. It is a new lifestyle definition being an urban nomad while at the same time will be able to expose their status as a unique individual. The camaleon is a new skin for every being to be able to socialize within their new mobile society, skin where they can easily transformable and adaptable from one vicinity to another vicinity regardless their social status and background. It is a new skin for their new lifestyle definition and at the same time as a smart device to survive in their world. Camaleon means being a freedom as a human being, freedom for any style you were in, freedom to move to anywhere you can imagine, and freedom to define yourself as individual. Camaleon is wrist-based and at the same time wearable watch/smart gadget. It has function as watch with GPS/GPRS system- this will help the user to locate themselves anywhere in the world and at the same time be able to access-exchange any desirable digital data via mobile phone, PDA, or any digital communicationexchanged devices, pager, organizer, light- glow in dark in case emergency or for other purposes, e-key: replacing function of keys, e-ID: replacing function of ID/passport for better fast and efficient mobility, e-money, e-ticket, calendar, weather update, compass, plug and play system, and voice activated emergency phone-this phone transmission will use the nearest public phone system.
Camaleon will allow the user to communicate- data transmission or exchange with others people: friends, family, public service, or government for any personal need. It is a device that not only will expose and define their personal style but at the same time as a device that able to enhance their lifestyle to the new definition of freedom and being selves.

Karo= haiku- game verse- 3 lines verse= as good introduction to Japan as a country and its people and it helps people to become more aware of nature (D.Y Miyauchi, State University College- Plattsburgh, New York- The New Book of Knowledge, Grolier, New York, 1977, p.28). Design concept: The idea of Karo is to create a multi functions chair: chair, table and tatami-table. It inspired from the idea of being floated- bringing the nature to carry the load of its user, while encourages them to discover and explore the message contained within the design itself. Within its emptiness-from its simple structure and transparent materialthere are the inner beauty yet to be discovered. Haiku- the game verse- has inspired the design for the idea of complexities within its simplicity, one simple product with multifunctions and meaning yet be able to representing the Japanese people and their culture. Karo when stand alone is a unfinished product, it will become a finish product where there is intrusion from the outside: the user and its vicinity, therefore when the interaction between the Karo and the user occurred it will then radiate its beauty as now the essence of the design going to be revealed. Karo is intertwining design-culture-philosophy that yet to be discovered by using and functioning the product itself. Valeo= being self, being with friends/family, and being freedom. It is a new digital video camera for personal use both for leisure and work, for group use for any time and occasion. Valeo is smart digital video camera to fulfill whatever imagination may our mind - eyes have. It is a new smart device that will allow and give total freedom for its users to explore their imagination without any limitation. It is a device that will be able to capture all images we see through our eyes and rewritten untold story of our imagination. Valeo will have any power to fulfill and recapture our imagination and passion for our vicinity breath. It will break the barrier of our eyes limitation to capture images and our mind to write our imagination. The differences between Valeo compare to current digital camera, mobile phone and video recorder:
-Digital camera, may have limitation to capture moving image, it has more function for still image beside its storage limitation. It has function for memory, sharing memory (images) but cannot be used to distribute/sharing images (flow) directly, as it may still need other intermediate device to do so. -Mobile phone, in this case mobile phone with camera. It has function to capture still images and short video. But the main aims of camera integrated with the mobile phone is for fun, chat, MMS-multi media messages, sharing photos, spontaneous action to capture any accidental events that may interest our feeling/emotion. It is about spontaneous and temporary therefore the images produces only for fun and the quality may be not as good as function of camera. The main function of camera in mobile phone is to enhance and enrich mobile phone attraction as an emotion expressionsharing device (SMS-short messaging service). It has flow- sharing however only has temporary captured memory. It could be make memory in our mind and emotion, but it will hard to really capture the essence of that memory itself as the soul of the images/events hardly captured/manifested. -Video recorder, beside can capture moving image it is also can do still image. But the quality of still image may less compare to digital camera. Another issue most of current video recorder has very small screen, while the bigger size one usually quite heavy to carry most of the time therefore it will be no longer comfortable to use. While direct sharing the images with others mostly still require another devices. -Valeo advantages: compact, light, easy to use, easy to carry, ergonomic-comfortable to use, environmentally friendly due to less materials to produce the product and the system that being used during the assembly will allow for future recycling easier, can be used by any level of skill/knowledge due to its friendly interface, has GPRS for immediate internet access for sharing images in form of digital postcard, while its GPS will record the location when the images/moving images captured therefore we can still recall the memory of the space- place as good as when we were there- the spirit and the essence of the soul of the space-place also captured, 360 degree progressive images shutter will give us truly experience being there this could be even better due to our eyes angle limitation, while its bluetooth will allow us to take group photo trigger or manage from our other bluetooth devices e.g. mobile phone, or for instance wireless printing.

Rosee flottante: transparency- reflective- transitory- emblematic- time/space marker- meeting point - hot spot. Design concept: The idea is to create a landmark that be able to become a symbol of the city transition from its past- present and its connection to the future, how the city can be seen in its relation from its past to the future from one vantage point. The landmark that can become an image of Paris as culture-art city while at the same time to look at from its synergy as peoplecommunity and technology from one point of view. The design was inspired from the shape of dew and its inner beauty. Its transparency will allow light to go through to the center of the dew- passing the essence, while at the same time can become reflector- time space catcher. Its transparent solid surface and its skin shape will disperse the light that touching its surface- radiate the essence and its beauty to its vicinity, while its lightness makes dew can float on any surface without any permanent engagement- the landmark will be contained in the area and the city as a whole yet not constrained from becoming a place that be able to define its own identity as a time-space hot spot. The Rosee flottante can become a symbol of Paris and a meeting point of the people, art-culture-civilization from one single place. Its shape-material will be able to attract people coming together while at the same time draws single line and connecting them to the past-present and future yet radiating the essence of its present as a hot spot-emblematic to the vicinity surpassing the time-space limitation. Material and construction system: -structure support: Prefabricated steel legs that then will be joined and assembled in the location.

Darse la gran vida will stand as a symbol of the local culture, local lifestyle, a linkage between past- present, tradition-modernity, craftsmanship-technology, and social linkage between local people in the area and the visitors both from another cities or foreigners. It is an object- place creation where the outside intrusion will enrich of the object definition itself. An object that at the end will be able to symbolize the spirit of the local people both for their custom and as a nation while at the same time be able to symbolize their culture a whole.

Design concept: The design idea is to create object that can make travel easier while at the same time will not change the existing way of travel. It will expand the definition of travel but do not expand the load that required during traveling. It will make the travel more efficient, enjoyable and comfortable especially for business travelers. The nomads= the smart suitcase. The nomads is integrated suitcase with the roll-able personal portable computer thank to the current digital ink-film display technology. The companion can be integrated with the nomads during the travel time.

Alegria is a total concept Japanese style modern bathroom system. The design is mixture of the modern design and traditional Japanese bath design that reflected from the material being usedconcrete, wood, stainless steel and the minimalist design. The design is to create spacious space yet comfortable and enjoyable to use. A personal space where the freedom being a human and freedom as creature in the nature can be fulfilled and integrated while at the same time still considered the user privacy. It is a space for cleansing our body, and healing our soul, a space for freedom, inspiration and communication of our body and mind.
24. B(eau). © 12.10.04 B(eau) B(eau)= beau-beauty+ eau-water = divine water. The b(eau) design concept was inspired by the branch of olive tree and the philosophy behind it. Olive tree= for many centuries have provide food for many people, as a symbol of wealth in ancient time, long life lived tree, essence or symbol of life, has linkage between drinking and eating, connecting one with others emotionally both before and after harvest. While the material is being used is porcelain/china for its quality in term of hygiene consideration and cultural-emotional value as porcelain has been used for many generation in human civilization history. Porcelain=conglomerate (as part) -clay- handmade/machine with human touch-finish product (as whole)= flow= sense of connection between earth-human, human-human, and human- nature (as a container). B(eau) is a water/liquid container that encourages the creation of intertwining relationship between the earth-human from its material and the way it made. Human-human, how the container will be used and will encourage sharing between one with another both physically and emotionally; appreciating that b(eau) should be used together, promoting understanding among its users. At the end human-nature relationship, to look at its relationship as container and its contain and the value of its contain for our lives.
25. Dance of the swan. Ballo dello swan Ballo dello swan=dance of the swan= aria of the table= interlude center stage of human daily lives/activities. Drinking tea= sharing, relaxation, indulgence, socialization, lifestyle, and culture. Tea drinking= linkage people-people, nature-people, and people-culture. Ballo dello swan is tea container where the relationship between the tea drinking-people will be exposed, and at the same time encouraging physical (the container) and emotional (the value) sharing among people while drinking tea. It can be seen as linkage of tea drinking culture-people and their lifestyle from its function, simple design and its material.
26. The Box The Box The box= meeting point, watering place, hot spot for Beck's drinking culture. The box is Beck's multifunction bar that serves mainly for Beck's enthusiasts and lovers. It is bar, gallery, dance floor, meeting point, social place with Beck in their mind. The design idea is to create a watering place for people to meet, socialize while enjoying the Beck yet can be stand as a hot spot for its vicinity, from its color, transparency that drawing the outdoor and indoor relationship and from its interior system that can be expanded to the outside area to form inside-outside relationship by using transformable light walls. The Shop, the idea is to create open space where all activities can be present and created at the same place.It is a place for any creative person/enthusiast to drink, meet and engage regardless their gender, age and cultural background.

The new logo will be able to give new definition for the Foundation as a caretaker and international charity sponsor which distinguishes itself by adopting and incorporating modern and advanced concepts in the work of volunteers throughout the world yet gives the strong identity of the Foundation being Libyan and proud being one of it both as nation or as individual by showing its generosity to others and its cultural heritage.
31. Billy. No Cap| No Light | No Fun. Inspired by firefly/glow-worm /lucciola (I). Billy is a functional cap-light both for milk bottle with milk or empty milk bottle. Its inner shape will allow for any type of bottle uses both as a cap and as a light. It can be used at time, space and occasion. It main material made from recycle/ recycle-able polymer for fast cheap mass production. Its simply assemble system will allow Billy can be separated easily during the recycling process. Billy is safe and fun both for the user and the environment.

II. Introduction. Proliferation of digital technology, especially digital-wireless and broadband technology have change the way human life: their lifestyles, their relationship, their behavior, the way they works, their socio-culture and the way they communicate or interact with others.
From those facts as starting point, this project takes Urban Nomads as the main topic (the topic was inspired from the way of Gypsies life, how they lives, socialize and built their own community). Why urban nomads? Urban nomads are a new society definition for urban society that has put bigger portion of mobility in their daily lives. While the mobility term itself in this society means: they can work anywhere, anytime regardless the space and time frame limitation, as their space have integrated with themselves (both time and spatially) through integrated wearable mobile computer or communication enhancer. It will allow them to live, stay and move from one place to another place easier than before (using concept: move, plug, unplug and play), and can easily adaptable to the new society or space (social community and spatial boundaries). This society then means how the definition, the impact and influence of urban nomads toward their own body, personality, life, behavior, lifestyle and then grow to the bigger community outside their body (family and friends relationship) to the local society (interaction) then toward the country where this community live and at the end to the global society. It is not only interpersonal relationship among urban nomads themselves but also in term of socio-culture, economics and spatial where they move, live and interact. In socio-culture, how this community will interact between one and another, and how they will give a new definition to themselves as a social creature. How the culture will be reshaped as a result of their community mobility and un-defining space and time where they belong. In term of economics, the circle of economics movement will go faster, micro and macro economy both in local and global context, as now they are only trafficking data (digital data transmission) instead real money for conducting business. For local economy for instance, the use of virtual money instead real money, as with the integrated devices on their body now they only require doing data exchange or data transfer instead the real physical exchange for any transaction (real or virtual transaction). This data may contain personal data replacing function of passport or others ID do, medical record, crime record, educational record, or fund/wealth record, will be stored on a special device that integrated to their body.
This device will enhance and become complement to the existing natural personal identifications: fingerprint, iris pattern or DNA. The data that stored on the special device that integrated to their body will become a new part of the body (to form as whole) and the user lifestyle rather than just as additional helper devices. To accommodate the device to the body to become a part of the whole, it will use the body heat/body movement, blood pressure and solar cell to operate the device. And the reason to use internal human body energy are: to reduce the movement limitation, to give total freedom to move, plug/unplug and play anywhere- anytime capabilities and to reduce unnecessary weight of the battery that should be carried to operate the devices. And in term of spatially, urban nomads can move from on place to another place easily without necessarily to built new personal space (including work space). The new personal space will enhance the existing natural space/personal bubble but not replacing. As when they move to a new place they will be immediately able to build their new space (in term of personal identity, they can plug and unplug the data from one place to another from public exchange control portable port and become a local within seconds). The space now also means unframed time; therefore they can control where they will move, life and work regardless space and time limitation. In this case, how urban nomads will redefine their urban landscape structure and its relationship with them. Urban nomads means new definition for integration of spatiality (space where they life, work, play and interact with others), time (time frame where they life within), their relationship between their body and the outside world (the way they move, transporting from one place to another), their identities (personality) and their body to form a new lifestyle. In conclusion, urban nomads definition is a new urban society where the integration of high technology, spatially (both time and space), mobility and independent lifestyle that has become a personality. III.The City.
Information and communication technology (ICT) that in the past years has rapidly develop and slowly will penetrate the whole system of human life organization and then at the end will reshape the urban system both in term of structural and spatially. It will be no longer just a wired city but as a city full of invisible bubble of information and communication wave. This transition from wired city to a broadband city will redefine their urban landscape structure. It makes easier to build new fully digital smart building, as now they will use plug-unplug system for cabling system (electricity and communication) rather than make the whole new cabling system from the source to their building. The system will allow them to connect one building with another building, as each of the building stands as independent unit although in same way it dependent to another independent unit (independent also means the building self contains and able to give service for its own need: electricity, water, air distribution and control, and waste processing). Dependent means one building need another buildings, another public spaces and peoples to form the city as whole. For better understanding, one building represent one chip of puzzle, and another building as another chip of puzzle and together with another chips: street, playground, public transport they will form this urban landscape. But each of these chips is not a definite piece; it could be removed and replaced with another chip but do not necessarily to rebuild the whole system. It might change their appearance as whole but does not change the entire system. With this system, it makes possible one building can be accessed both vertically and horizontally. Vertically could be a direct access from underground station on the ground floor of the building to the street level or from underground level to the offices or directly to the helipad on the roof of the building. While horizontally means one building connected to another building via a bridge or connector on one or more floors. It will make easier for person moving from one building to another without necessarily go to the street level first. It will also make possible to make the street level for pedestrian only or access for underground station, vice versa. The new city will have more open space for people gathering/plaza, more garden, and playground. New open spaces, also means more place to work freely everywhere regardless working as individual or as a group of people (networking), thank to the broadband communication system that cover up the whole city. Although with more communication wave cover up the city, the city may become cleaner as the street level for transport system has moved to the underground transport system, both for mass or private transport.
This urban landscape system means more sunshine to the street level of city, clear direct view to the sky, more trees that means better air quality and more organized view of the cityscape. a. The Society 1.New city, new society. New urban landscape system will redefine how people interact with others, how they will socialize, work and live. It will also reshape the existing culture, religion and tradition in harmony with a new era of human civilization. More urban open space will give more opportunity for people gathering, meeting or collaborating with others. The sense of interconnection between one with another will be greater than before. At the same time the new society will increase the work efficiency and quality, as less pressure from the office workload but increasing work quality. People will regard work as entertainment and pleasure rather than thing that must to be done, as now there is an intertwining definition between working and entertaining. Working could be meant entertainment and vice versa. The new city landscape and the integrated digital technology (including Information and Communication Technology) embedded on its essence, will make easier for human connection and interaction with others, virtually or in real time. They can work and conduct any business meeting anytime and anywhere whenever they do like. They can travel and live wherever they want to colonize permanently or temporarily. Thank to the integrated wearable digital enhancer to their body as new integrated part of their body (to form part as whole rather than intruder). With the data stored on their new body part, they can easily move and travel to one place to another, and become a local within seconds. The data stored on their body will replace the existing ID card (including driving license), passport, health history and bankcard, but it will enhance and become complement to the existing natural personal identifications: fingerprints, iris pattern, and DNA. The device will make possible for them to conduct any secured data exchange or transfer through a point of personal assistance spread over the city or any place where any human activities happened and conducted (move, plug, unplug and play system). The exchange point could be as public exchange control portable wireless port, it is multi function port for any data transfer (as passport/ID, bankcard/ATM, or as health card) and the port could be located on the street, country borders, public-buildings, hospital and airport both as mobile or fix station.
At the end, the city will become a large digital data exchange or communication center or invisible enclosure for anyone regardless where they located (in the building, on the street, in the station for any activities may they do). The urban landscape then will become an integrated part of human lifestyle (personality), no longer just a place for human activities, but could become another bubble that cover up the personal bubble, that more public and more complex as this bubble will intentionally to engage and more have friction with another bubbles. Therefore the new society will become a society that very active, mobile, independent and at the same time has less direct interpersonal engagement. 2. Socio-culture, religion and tradition. Although with the new city system will make human being able to move faster, work more efficient, more independent, and make possible to interact with other more efficient and easier, at the same it will make them more separated from others as social creature. New city, and new technology embedded with the city/urban landscape although at the same time it will make people can live better and comfort, in addition it will also reduce their natural essence as social creature, as it will make them more individualistic, more independent in same way and more separated with others. As rather meeting in person they may be prefer to conduct video-teleconference (including multi media interaction teleconference), real time virtual reality (including holographic 3D) meeting and video email communication rather than the real meeting, therefore they can save their for travel time and have more time for their own (more privacy). Degradation of socio-culture, religion and tradition from the past will become apparent and slowly become disappear, and then new culture, and belief will be born while the tradition may be completely abandoned. New culture of this new society means we take digital live as a new lifestyle that not separate able to our daily life. It will take any digital enhancer devices as partner, a device for being self rather than just a gadget. Gradually face-to-face meeting may become obsolete; it means real human interaction definition from the past may no longer relevance. As now the gadget position has replaced or more important than inter human relationship, as they do need this device to conduct any inter human relationship, although they may still do direct human contact but may have less hours than in the past.
Therefore new culture is a culture where digital age will make human more independent as individual, but make them inhuman in term as social creature. Could be family value will no longer important, as more people prefer to life by themselves, and might choose cloning methods to have their own heredity. As they prefer to have time for their own, and might prefer life partner rather than marriage bounding. They may put selfsatisfaction and entertainment as the first priority rather than a group one. At the same time the new society will make everyone have one universal culture, and one universal language. While religion will become universal belief, no single specific religion will exist, all existing religion may re-emerge and then become a single universal belief. Belief of being a human, being self as independence human, being God creature, being a universal human above all background differences, all races and origins. This will make everyone equal in every aspect of life, and this will make them together and interact as independence individuals that in same way dependent to each others. Dependence as people still do need to have others to full fill their essential need as social creature, although the proportion already degraded. 3. New Economy. Being digital society also means emerging new economy in the community. As economics play very important role in the every aspect of human being life, therefore with the transformation from being real to being digital, like or dislike people will transform from everything that real to digital (as data, that is able to carry everywhere they go without afraid of being lose or being left at home). Therefore now they will no longer use hard cash, but instead digital money to conduct any transaction. They can do banking or shopping via their smart integrated gadget that embedded to their body (plug, unplug and play system). As a result of this we may no longer need real bank, as we can open our account via internet connection at home/anywhere and load the money/data online into our gadget embedded on our body via Blue Tooth system, USB connection or infrared data transfer and vice versa, while the bank could be just database and data exchange super computer processing center.
Their function now just as a central of data exchange from one to another, while the bank central or technician will look after the bank system only to avoid any data exchange hacker or fault, as each fund stored can be accessed by the owner only. With this system, it is possible all hard cash from each countries will become universal money, therefore they do not longer require exchange rate for money transfer or transaction from one with another countries. And with the new money every transaction or transfer from one to another person account, regardless the time and space can be conducted within seconds via personal portable digital wallet exchange. This new economic system also could lead to the end bank interest rate system, as now the government or people can make profit from the gain of stock exchange transaction only. While tax collection could be directly integrated to any transaction conducted rather than personal/wealth tax collection. Personal tax collection could be no longer effective considering high rate of human mobility from one place to another. The new economic then will be able to reshape the new urban landscape from security and freedom of move in the city point of view. Because no real money, no one will try to get others property as the data on the integrated smart gadget will no longer have function and have value after removed from the original user. Therefore as the new city free from any street violence, it will make the city as a place where people want to be, together with other or live (in term of the city belong to the human being, and they can use it as long as they want, anytime and without any concern of their safety and comfort). This will make the city more have open space and free space to use for individual or group of people. The city could become their alternative place for work, and entertainment, thank to the integrated information and communication technology wave that cover up the whole city in form of wave bubble to help any quick wireless data transfer or exchange from one place to another place. b. The Way People Move The transport system will follow up with the new urban landscape and its system change. It will become more efficient, fast, cheap and less energy waste. There are two types of transport:
1. Public transport This including underground mass public transport, train and bus that connected city and its suburbs. Because of the urban landscape change could be only mass public transport that available from the city to another transport interchange points on the city border. It means only after reaching that points, another means of transport may become available (train, bus, or rapid train for inter-cities). 2. Semi public transport. This type of transport will replace the function of private car. Mobile Cell (modular car, using concept rent and go) for example is a type of this type of transport (this similar type of car currently already available). Mobile Cell is available for one, two and four seat passengers. It is powered by either compact hydrogen or chargeable battery. It is available on any transport center point where people can use the car and then return it for use of others and pay the service being used via digital payment system. It is personal transport, means you can use it as long as you need, and return to any point when you finish, it is public because anyone can have access to the service. People from remote area can use the Mobile Cell to reach the nearest public transport interchange if that the solely means of transport from their area. Each Mobile Cells will then gathered on the special carriage that will bring them together to the city, the Mobile Cell will also function as the passenger cell. During the journey, the carriage will also become a charging unit for the Mobile Cell (using the energy produce from the friction of the wheel and the path). Although they can leave the Mobile Cell on its stations and then using normal mass public transport if they wish too. The Mobile Cell station could be on the street level (the suburb area), underground (both independent or integrated with the modular carriage rail transport), or inside the building. Therefore Mobile Cell user can use it from underground directly to their office level, using vertical transportation for Mobile Cell.
With the new urban landscape and new transport system, will make the city will be more organized, efficient and safer in term of mobility (for anyone regardless who, and how they are), it also will have greater accessibility to and from any points in the city (regardless where you come from and where you want to go) and at the end will have better quality of air. IV.The Nomads. The nomad is an individual that lives as urban nomads. Urban nomads are a new society definition for urban society that has put bigger portion of mobility in their daily lives. While the mobility term itself in this society means: they can work anywhere, anytime regardless the space and time frame limitation, as their space have integrated with themselves (both time and spatially) through integrated wearable mobile computer or communication enhancer. Enhancer in this case means the device will become a lifestyle (integrated lifestyle with the user) rather than additional device that becomes compulsory in order being a modern being in the digital world. This integrated body gadget (will become new body part and to form the whole as new being) will allow them to stay, live and move from one place to another place easier and easier than before (using concept: move, plug, unplug and play), and can be easily adaptable to the new society or space (social community and spatial boundaries). Move, means they can move as far as they want and as fast as they want. It means they can travel from one place to another, from one country to another country as easy as they passing a door at home. Plug means they can build their new space/domain when they go to another new place, and will become a local within seconds, thank to the integrated body gadget that embedded on their body that makes this quick transition happened. Unplug means they can update or erase the data at anytime when no longer desirable and play, means after then becomes local in the new place/area they can then do and live as local. a.
Body Work. 1. Clothing.
Urban nomads mean they will spend most of their time for travel or for their activities. While at the same time they will do many tasks at the same time, either for pleasure or for work. Therefore they will require clothing systems that do understand who, what and how they are. The clothing could have fiber optic or any digital cabling for any digital information and communication need (integrated into the fabric or could be as the fabric itself). The clothing could become another body enhancer for any easy access for instance for downloading digital music (there is similar sample for this product research by Philips Design, the Netherlands on their Vision of the Future project), digital interactive multi media display or could be as automatic body protection from cold or hot weather (the clothing will be capable to automatically adjust the interior surface temperature that suitable to the user body and relative to the outer weather temperature, to maintain comfort no matter where and in what season they are). Another option could be as a transformable embedded function, means we can change the clothing color according to our mood, and could be write-able on same parts of the clothing for sending, writing or receiving same short messages (this option will become an integrated part of the clothing both for its function and as a style). 2. Lifestyle. Urban nomads will be easily adaptable to any place or space they want to be. They will spend most of their lives from one place to another, therefore the place they live or will live and their body must be easily for any quick transition or changes that may occur. Therefore they may stay in very smart pod for living; this pod could be used by him/her and then can be reused by others (using rent and go system). The pod will accommodate all need of the occupy may have, for instance the owner can have fast wireless/broadband internet access/connection from any points of the pod interior, control the pod security via internet/any information and communication data exchange devices from anywhere he/she is.
The pod can be programmed according to the user personality, for instance they want to change the color or create new atmosphere of the room, they can do electronically. Because of the user mobility, the pod must be easy to maintain but still very comfort to be inside, as the user will spend most of their time at this pod for any activities (working, resting and entertaining) if they do not in the move. Easy to maintain can be meant smart bathroom that can clean and dry up automatically after used, or bedroom that will be stored and automatically clean up after used in order to give more space and give more freedom to the user. This pod will become smart integrated part of the city as whole therefore no matter where they are the nomads can be easily adaptable to the entire system (while in the unit or while in the city). b. Life. The urban nomads will spend most of their time to travel from one place to another places, therefore family life could be no longer as a main focus. They will spend more time for their own satisfaction and goal. They may prefer to have human cloning for having their offspring rather than from marriages. Because they will very independence in many aspect of life, they may prefer to do any activities by themselves rather than with a group of people. Therefore this society will have more time for virtual inter-human interaction rather than the real one. Being them self will make them very individualist that have less sensitivity towards others. Urban nomad may be an individual that has very large network with others in term of information or communication engagement, but less emotionally engagement as a human being. V. The State
With the changing of the urban landscape system, community within that landscape and the influence of the information and communication technology, like or not it will also make a shift toward the government, the government system and at the end at the model of the state. Could be the state now just a center of the data processing and on the supervision of the board selected by the community. The state could be just a symbol of the territory not as a sovereign country. It will become a small independent part of a universal world. Each nomad will become a part of the smaller community/country and at the same time they also become part of the universal world. VII.
Epilogue.
In conclusion, urban nomad is a new urban community that has put mobility, and digital information and communication technology as integrated part of their daily life and lifestyle. This new social community definition will reshape and redefine how the urban landscape structure and pattern in the connection with the information and communication technology, as a place where a collective of people together, interact and engage. A place where there is very close connection and interaction between the spatiality and the personality, and at the same time a place where the technology has engage and intertwine within their relationship. Urban nomads has shift the distinct differences between urban landscape, and personal landscape (home) to more absurd relationship, as now with the technology especially with the information and communication technology and its digital community, urban landscape has become more intimate and integrated part with the personal landscape and the mobility of the people (urban nomads), vice versa.
2. Envy- Epson Trends Design Research. EPSON design trend research 1st Area of concepts, meanings and behaviors Theme: Envy= self contains, self exposure, attractive and independent that makes other envy. Print definition: impression, to give impression, to give proof, to stamp, to produce mark, to create real picture. Print for me is a final product of printing, could be photo, could be a paper or could be everything that exposure the negative being positive, black and white proof. It more related to the graphic design and photograph. It is also everything that related to ink, paper, silk screen, images and words. I use mostly for document printing, art printing or others thing that requires the hard copy. I do like to use it and at the same time do not like to use it. I do like to use it, because i can see and feel the final output (print on paper). I can put, store and display anywhere, anyplace i do like. I do not like to use it, as it is kinda a passive electronic box that you do not really need to use it everyday, but at the same time you do require to use it, no matter when. It is a product that you do not to have it, but you may consider to have it just matter of time. Why should have ink? Well i prefer to have good digital image/file and then able to safe same storage space rather than always to use printer to print out and burning the ink that can be run out at the middle of printing. It can be color fast, and damaged by water, weather or fire, it is not permanent and at the same times difficult for handling (if too large). It is a fragile product produce by fragile device. Why not digital ink then? No refill, no bleed, no colour fast, permanent, and definitely get what you seen on the screen.
What should printer be? I guess a device that worth for money and at the same time efficient and definitely you will use it almost everyday, every year, in your life. It is not just an accidental electronic box on the table, or box for an occassion. It is an independent product that dependent to other products. Why not as independent product that workable with other products, and with any independent activities. It is a device that dependent to the ink, why not create an ink that dependent to the paper, why does not create a printer that just a processing unit that has label no ink inside, and can be use any where, any time, and any place regardless its connection and relationship with others (cabling and electric source). It could be worked like Blue Tooth system. It could be an integrated device that has ability to view any digital image (print as much as you like), digital music, portable computer unit, a digital camera- photo frame- digital printing at the same time, could be as decorative items on the wall, digital photo frame, or object on the table that can communicate with any digital device, no cable , no fuss, but just lots of fun. Printable television program? Why not, the printer could be integrated part or just a smart device that able to print any digital broadcasting both image or sound into a hard copy. Printer will be able to produce copy of digital copy beside digital copy to hard copy (vice versa, function as scanner). It can print out the text of the music that being play, print (save) a short favorit television program into a digital file both frame by frame or as the whole clips. Print the favorit images directly from the television. While digital photo it could be set as still and then rotates automatically according to the day, time, mood and occasion, can be printed while necessary. It is a photo frame that not just a photo frame, and no one will know what the suprise next, no longer typical day of the year. Printer that also object of aesthetic, it is an object you must to have, to display and definitely you will use it for any daily activities. It wont have same definition any longer, it is about efficiency, taste, style, and lifestyle. It is device that going to make new colour in human being life culture regardless their lifestyle. 2nd

Well the frame has ambient background music that can be download digitally via your mobile phone, or any MP3 player- work using file sharing method, no cable, no wait, just copy what you have on your MP3 player directly into their file. This digital frame can be managed via their bottom provided underneath of the frame or just using your PDA or any mobile phone to access their system. No cable, no ink, no electric shock, by using energy induction from the charger and digital ink integrated on the paper this will become the most save digital photo for everyone regardless your technological background. -space divider, ceiling, made from woven bamboo -weapon -animal traps -handy craft and toys -fan -curtain -etc. Bamboo as Material Beside from its natural beauty, bamboo as material has these characteristics that make bamboo very attractive material in term efficiency and economical point of few: -the fastest growing plant (short grow circle) -substitute for wood -resilience and renewable natural resources -has good economical value -low cost to grow, as no required replanting -can grow in any type of soil -low cost processing, and can be used for any purposes. -do not require nail in term of join -etc. Although its has many advantages as material, there are some disadvantages for instance: -material lifespan could be less longer than wood -more complicated processing and handling compare to solid wood -finishing, mostly for natural touch finishing only, while with wood there are more alternatives of finishing for instance laminating, painting, or combining with other materials- inlet/outlet. -breakable, not suitable for nailing -more fragile compare to wood during the processing.
Bamboo in term of Ecological Design and Universal Design Due to its nature and its characteristic, bamboo can be easily used as a design material. 1. It can be classify as Ecological design material due to these characteristics: -renewable raw material -material that conserve its natural habitat -recyclable material -easily disposable material -low emission and low energy consumption during the processing -environmentally friendly and save 2. While bamboo can be also classified as Universal design material due to these characteristics: -equitability, it can be accessed by everyone regardless their social status. -flexibility, it can be used for many difference application -simple and intuitive, it is a simple material that has inner beauty to discover, from its texture, natural characteristic from each difference type of bamboo, color, and size. Bamboo as future Why bamboo as future? Bamboo as a future material because it has character as: -renewable material (fast growing and short grow circle), -material than can be easily grown, low cost while at the same time has good economical value, -material that can be used for many types of application both domestic and industrial purposes, while at the same time has low environmental destruction both during the processing or at the end of the product life. -material that able as substitute to the wood, while at the same time has low destruction to the environment compare to the excessive use of wood. -a complete material, as almost every part of the bamboo can be used (stem, leaf and its shoots).
-it has strength like wood, it is cheaper compare to wood, but has more applications can be adopted; this will make bamboo as affordable, attractive while at the same time efficient. -material that requires good communication/interaction between the materials itself, the user, and the product that want be created/being used. -material that its inner beauty still not yet totally revealed. Possibility near future application. -musical instrument, for instance recreation pipe organ/bamboo organ or traditional based instrument in difference way. -interior elements: laminate, veneer, floor (parquet), furniture, and lighting -combination with other material as a new product without disappearing its natural character. -daily life necessities (clothing and other sanitary products or high end product combined with high technology available). -wall, floor, ceiling panel (as flat instead curve) -decorative product that has good selling price while at the same time good value as art object (in same period of the China dynasty, there are same artists that able to create this kind of product, but this bamboo art no longer common due to time consuming and cost consideration). -toys for children with disabilities, especially using the texture and possibility able to stimulate the user to interact with the product without any guidance. -good use of bamboo in any daily life application both domestic and public life to reduce air pollution. In conclusion, Bamboo is natural material that always being a good company to human being in their daily activities from generation to generation in human civilization history. It has character that requires good understanding and interaction between the bamboo, the tool (processing tool), the human skill (processor) and the final product they want to create. It is a strong material and at the same times a delicate material that requires a really good care and attention to discover the beauty behind the product (as raw material). Bamboo is a simple material and at the same times a complex one, as it has many function and application from its simple shape.
A material that gives a basic need for human being to survive (food, shelter, and tools) and teaches how to survive in this world (it stimulates the innovative and creative process- one simple single material with many application opportunities). 4. Light, Colour and Jellyfish.
Light, colour and jelly fish This project will look at the relationship between light and jellyfish, and between light and colour on jellyfish toward jellyfish as an object of art or as art inspiration. In this case is moon jellyfish. Jellyfish, sea-jellies, medusa or Scyphozoa, Scyphozoa comes from the Greek word skyphos: meaning cup and zoon, meaning animal. Jellyfish are made up of 95% water. This makes jellyfish very fascinating object to examine as an object of art or as art inspiration. This huge water contain makes jellyfish almost transparent while on the water, that makes its body very fascinating to observe while drifting in the water, as it reveals soft-line of its body structure and shape only.
The jellyfish drifts with the sea currents as they have very limited movement control toward their body, their rhythmic swimming motion occurs when the muscles pull the body together, reducing the space under it and then forcing water out through the opening. This pulsation rhythm will allow for some regulation of vertical movement. Because jellyfish are very sensitive to light, this vertical movement can be very important, descending during the bright sun and ascending during the dawn, sunset and night. Despite their ability for vertical movement, they are depending on the sea current, tides and wind for horizontal movement. The two transparent layers and a jelly like substance between that formed the jellyfish body, makes jellyfish can be responsive to the light. The body structure of the jellyfish when it washed by light will produce a lighting process that called interference. It is a delicate coloring process on its surface that caused by the interference of light hitting their transparent body.

Interference of light is a process when the light that coming to the transparent material beside reflected from front of the surface and back of the surface, they also have light waves that out of step that interfere with each other light waves. When these two sets of waves: light that reflected from the front surface and light that reflected from the back of the surface, join up again, they may happen to be exactly in the step with each other. In this case they will reinforce each other and the result is brightreflected light. However if the two sets of wave come back exactly out of step, they cancel each other out, no light is reflected from that
place. Their pulsation rhythm will also help for this interference process, therefore we may see colour wash/dispersion on same part of their transparent body while at the same time we can see only their transparent body shape with no distinctive colour. This interference of light will enforce the existing slightly bluish and pinkish tone of the jellyfish. Depending of the light colour and its intensity we can see jellyfish with difference colour tone. In the ocean, midday with bright sun, we may see jellyfish has bluish colour as the light/sunlight- colour white and the blue sky colour will enforce the jellyfish bluish colour tone. While on the sand or on the water tank we may see jellyfish more to pinkish colour, as the colour base of their body envelope. Besides having interference of light process, due to its body structure transparency, jellyfish also adaptable to the vicinity colour condition. Furthermore, the climate condition and the saline content level factor of the sea also become of factors that generate the dominant colour on the jellyfish. The jellyfish become an object of art due to its shape, movement and colour-light factor that makes the jellyfish can have shape and colour transition while on the move. It is an art inspiration due to its transparency and its irregular movement that very dependent to the vicinity factors: sea current, wave and wind that create an irregular shape and direction from their rhythmic swimming motion.

In order to give an idea of what is transit space in term of spatiality context, we will look at on brief definition of space itself, what is space and place in relation to the transit space. A place (lieu) is the order of things according to which elements that are distributed in relationships of coexistence. Therefore it excludes the possibility of two things being in the same location (place) at the same time, based on the law of the proper rules in the place. The elements taken into consideration are beside one another, each situated in its own proper and distinct location that defines. A place is thus an instantaneous configuration of positions and implies an indication of stability. While, a space (espace) exists when one takes into consideration vectors of direction, velocities and time variables. Therefore space is composed of intersections of mobile elements where is assemble of movements deployed within. Moreover space occurs as the effect produced by the operations that orient it, situate it, demoralize it, and make it function in a polyvalent unity of confliction programs or contractual proximities. Space can be defined as a practiced place for instance the street that is geometrically defined by the urban planning is then transformed into a space by walkers.
Transit space is a metaphor for new urban spaces: forerunners of globalization processes, and laboratories marked by a new extent of sudden and rapid changes, uncertainties and insecurities. When cities becoming transit places it will then makes the new definition and change to the urban space where flexibility and mobility become key qualities. It will then will reshape and shift the relationship of space and society as the consequences. Where at the same time new spatial orders with a transnational range are being superimposed on the familiar territories lines. It will then create new blur territory from existing the spatial border. III. Urban Nomads, the concept Definition of urban nomads: urban nomads are a new society definition for urban society that has put bigger portion of mobility in their daily lives. While the mobility term itself in this society means: they can work anywhere, anytime regardless the space and time frame limitation, as their space have integrated with themselves (both time and spatially) through integrated wearable mobile computer or communication enhancer. It will allow them to live, stay and move from one place to another place easier than before (using concept: move, plug, unplug and play), and can easily adaptable to the new society or space (social community and spatial boundaries). This society then means how the definition, the impact and influence of urban nomads toward their own body, personality, life, behavior, lifestyle and then grow to the bigger community outside their body (family and friends relationship) to the local society (interaction) then toward the country where this community live and at the end to the global society. It is not only interpersonal relationship among urban nomads themselves but also in term of socio-culture, economics and spatial where they move, live and interact. In term of socio-culture, how this community will interact between one and another, and how they will give a new definition to themselves as a social creature. How the culture will be reshaped as a result of their community mobility and un-defining space and time where they belong.
In term of economics, the circle of economics movement will go faster, micro and macro economy both in local and global context, as now they are only trafficking data (digital data transmission) instead real money for conducting business. For local economy for instance, the use of virtual money instead real money, as with the integrated devices on their body now they only require doing data exchange or data transfer instead the real physical exchange for any transaction (real or virtual transaction). This data may contain personal data replacing function of passport or others ID do, medical record, crime record, educational record, or fund/wealth record, will be stored on a special device that integrated to their body. This device will enhance and become complement to the existing natural personal identifications: fingerprint, iris pattern or DNA. The data that stored on the special device that integrated to their body will become a new part of the body (to form as whole) and the user lifestyle rather than just as additional helper devices. To accommodate the device to the body to become a part of the whole, it will use the body heat/body movement, blood pressure and solar cell to operate the device. And the reason to use internal human body energy are: to reduce the movement limitation, to give total freedom to move, plug/unplug and play anywhere- anytime capabilities and to reduce unnecessary weight of the battery that should be carried to operate the devices. And in term of spatially, urban nomads can move from on place to another place easily without necessarily to built new personal space (including work space). The new personal space will enhance the existing natural space/personal bubble but not replacing. As when they move to a new place they will be immediately able to build their new space (in term of personal identity, they can plug and unplug the data from one place to another from public exchange control portable port and become a local within seconds). The space now also means unframed time; therefore they can control where they will move, life and work regardless space and time limitation. In this case, how urban nomads will redefine their urban landscape structure and its relationship with them. Urban nomads means new definition for integration of spatiality (space where they life, work, play and interact with others), time (time frame where they life within), their relationship between their body and the outside world (the way they move, transporting from one place to another), their identities (personality) and their body to form a new lifestyle.
In conclusion, urban nomads definition is a new urban society where the integration of high technology, spatially (both time and space), mobility and independent lifestyle that has become a personality. The city. Information and communication technology (ICT) that in the past years has rapidly develop and slowly will penetrate the whole system of human life organization and then at the end will reshape the urban system both in term of structural and spatially. It will be no longer just a wired city but as a city full of invisible bubble of information and communication wave. a. The Society 1. New city, new society. New urban landscape system will redefine how people interact with others, how they will socialize, work and live. It will also reshape the existing culture, religion and tradition in harmony with a new era of human civilization. The new city landscape and the integrated digital technology (including Information and Communication Technology) embedded on its essence, will make easier for human connection and interaction with others, virtually or in real time. They can work and conduct any business meeting anytime and anywhere whenever they do like. They can travel and live wherever they want to colonize permanently or temporarily. At the end, the city will become a large digital data exchange or communication center or invisible enclosure for anyone regardless where they located (in the building, on the street, in the station for any activities may they do). 2. Socio-culture, religion and tradition. Although with the new city system will make human being able to move faster, work more efficient, more independent, and make possible to interact with other more efficient and easier, at the same it will make them more separated from others as social creature. 3. New Economy. Being digital society also means emerging new economy in the community.
As economics play very important role in the every aspect of human being life, therefore with the transformation from being real to being digital, like or dislike people will transform from everything that real to digital (as data, that is able to carry everywhere they go without afraid of being lose or being left at home). The new economic then will be able to reshape the new urban landscape from security and freedom of move in the city point of view. Because no real money, no one will try to get others property as the data on the integrated smart gadget will no longer have function and have value after removed from the original user. b. The Way People Move The transport system will follow up with the new urban landscape and its system change. It will become more efficient, fast, cheap and less energy waste. There are two types of transport: 1. Public transport This including underground mass public transport, train and bus that connected city and its suburbs. 2. Semi public transport. This type of transport will replace the function of private car. Mobile Cell (modular car, using concept rent and go) for example is a type of this type of transport (this similar type of car currently already available). IV.

In order to give a good perspective of what is transit space, we may be look at the possible development order of the transit space creation process. 1.current stage of transit space.

1.current stage of transit space. Currently transit space is a transit point that connecting one place with another to form movement network. One transit point will be function as midpoint of two or more transit points to facilitate the designated journey.
One needs to pass transitional network linkage by using any definition of transport devices in order to reach another transit points. In this case mostly land transportation device considering the transit point in this case is land base transit point. May be in the near future the transit point is not restricted to the land base only but can be in any definition of transit point for instance on the sea or in the sky. .

This development where two or more transit points will draw closer and intersect with one another to share and exchange their activities with others. The intersection of these two or more spaces will create bigger area that later on will redefine the definition of transit space. In term of spatiality now the transit space will no longer as a point or movement hub from one place to another but now has grown as space where people will be able to life, to share, to move from one place to another and becoming a local while at the same time creating new community in the newly created space. Gradually this process will take one space and another as a one single bigger place.
3. the final possibility scenario of the transit space development The final development of the transit space will create a bigger community concentration around the transit space where new socioculture life will be created along with the space extension and intersection among the transit points.
By the intersection of the one transit space with another it will create a new bigger area where people can easily move from one place to another. The border between one with another point or space will slowly become invisible. The existing border that separating one place with another both politically and socially as a place will slowly become obsolete. People can move from one place to another place freely, the concept of this movement is urban nomads lifestyle. Where one can move from one place to another and become local at the same time using plug and unplug concept. It could be as a new place where socio-culture exchange can occur both temporary or permanently. The new space connectionexchange-and transition will then recreate- redefine the definition of the space itself, the movement that create these spaces and at the end the definition of the users/the community that lives within this area/process. At the end the transit space will become a new public space for the community that pass by and live within this place. In this case people who has ability to move freely from one place to another will have own individual digital biometric smart ID as plug-unplug devices. It will allow them to communicate with the new area while at the same time in case or emergency the local authorities can access or communicate with them via satellite –GPRS capable. 1.City as empty space- mobile place In further extend in term of spatiality we can redefine a city as transit space. At the beginning a city is an empty space, a space that has distinctive border, self-ruled and its own socio-culture community. It will form as individual entity and sovereign area. In later development where people and their need growing their self-fulfillment may no longer adequate therefore they need another source in order to fulfill those need. This will lead the movement of people from one place to another to seek- create and then develop those needs and at the end it will create new opportunities. Opportunities to share-exchange and then cooperate with others to fulfill each other needs.
Unconsciously this movement will create the initial development of linkage building from one to another cities. Further development will create and reshuffle the city center as vocal point to disperse points, this where one city become a transit space of another cities. The limit of the city will then become a transportable limits-metaphorical where one city with another will have seamless transition and connection. The city will become a mobile place where at the same time it becoming a transit space as a result of the city boundary blurred and its linkages with another cities become less and less distinctive. 2.Transit spaces- transitional place Transit space is place that has defined as exchange or transfer hub from one place to another. In its development the transit space will become transitional place from one space to another. Transitional place is place where the exchange-share-dialogue between one space and other spaces occurred and is a place where the new development as a result of the exchange-share during the transit time will emerge as new place where the distant between one transit point and another transit points will come closer and emerge as a bigger borderless movement space. 3.Exchange place, redefining the city. When the transitional place occurred and developed in any transit point that linkage with others transit points, I will then become exchange place. This kind of space will become a new public space where people can move from one place to another without any restriction. The development of exchange place that spread over an urban area slowly will be redefining the city definition. The cities will no longer have distinctive border as it used to be, as they now will have seamless connection/linkage between cities. At the same new culture- lifestyle will grow from any single exchange points. It means the existing socio-cultural identity will disappear- reemerge and blend with new development of socio-culture as a new universal civilization. The city will have no longer its own identity, as it now may become a small part of bigger one. It will interconnect-interlink with others cities to form larger space network, that connecting seamlessly one place to another. 4.Urban nomads lifestyle evolution.
By the development of the transit space in parallel with the human civilization development due to various factors, for instance information technology, mobility, lifestyle changes and cooperation inter human being that now not only in smaller area but has grown to bigger scope- transnational. As a result of this transitional place formation, slowly it will redefine-reshuffle-reshape the human being lifestyle in the urban area known as urban nomads. The place where they live will redefine the way they live, work, move, communicate, inter human relationship, interact with their vicinity and the way they define themselves as a person. They will become an independent individual that no longer attached to single area but as individual as part of a bigger network, where they can move, stay temporarily or permanently, live, work and interact with others without any restriction. New urban nomads home/personal shelter structure can be defined as invisible bubbles, each bubble serve as three major human life activities; a. Living: social activities, inter human relationship, b. Working: productivity that related to the life fulfillment. c. Resting: recreational activities, resting. Every bubble will intersect and blending together as a new lifestyle, which emphases on human mobility. This newly creation of bubble will attached to wherever they move and it will allow them to attach-detach easily with the new place they visit or intersect and then emerge as a bigger bubble with another personal bubble. Therefore the urban nomads lifestyle will transform from permanent emotional place linkage to attached invisible emotional space, that means no matter where they are they can create their own emotional space without any place restriction. In relation to the transit space, the mobility and their embodied capability will allow them to enter, intersect, and then embrace with the new space when they passing through as this process will push over the existing visible boundary of a city to become invisible boundary and then emerge and blend seamlessly with others city to form bigger transit space.

Transit Space: nomads mobile place, an urban nomads lifestyle evolution is a study of possibility how a transit space will redefine the definition of city as a center to a disperse points and its relationship to its habitants and its relationship with another city as a result of their linkage. How the city will be then redefine as a result of the movement that occurred between one with another cities. And how the habitants of those cities then will redefine their lifestyle in parallel with the city development. This study will give an idea how the space will look at and how it will affect the lifestyle of its inhabitant.
