Alle kleding die je in dit magazine ziet komt uit de zomercollectie 2013 van Moodstreet, Little Feet en XSFeet. Moodstreet is er voor kinderen van 2 tot 12 jaar. Little Feet, het kleine broertje/zusje van Moodstreet, kenmerkt zich door haar trendy uitstraling, gevoel voor traditie en is lekker stoer! Little Feet is er in de maten 68-92. XSFeet is er voor de allerkleinsten en verschijnt in de maten 50-74. XSFeet is uitgesproken, eigenzinnig en met veel oog voor comfort. De Cabo Verde zomercollectie brengt je direct in de kenmerkende sfeer van tropische hitte, het “altijd feest” gevoel, opzwepende afrikaanse klanken en de heerlijke super easygoing way of life. Voor de meisjes is het allemaal uitbundig zomers met vrolijke kleurenmixes en polkadot prints. T-shirts met een kwinkslag in een fris waterthema en als klapper de top met skatende supergirlie turtle. De jongens zijn vooral layed-back, supercool en dressed to impress. De ongedwongen damagedlook wordt gecombineerd met coole graphics van vissen en echte beachdudes surfplaatjes.
All the clothing in this magazine is taken from the 2013 summer collection of Moodstreet, Little Feet and XSFeet. Moodstreet clothing is designed for children aged 2 to 12 years. Little Feet, the little brother/sister of Moodstreet, is distinctive for its trendy charisma, sense of tradition and rugged practicality! Little Feet is available in sizes 68-92. XSFeet is for the tiniest tots of all and comes in sizes 50-74. XSFeet is expressive, unabashed and very much made for comfort. The Cabo Verde summer collection takes you straight to the typical ambience of tropical heat, the sense of a ‘neverending party’, stirring African rhythms and a delightful, easygoing lifestyle. For the girls it is all extravagant summers full of bright colour combinations and polka dot prints. T-shirts with an amusing twist in a fresh water theme crowned by a skating supergirlie turtle top. The boys are mainly laid-back, super-cool and dressed-to-impress. An informal ‘damaged-look’ is combined with cool graphics of fishing and real beach-dude surf-shots.

Tropisch Cabo Verde was de inspiratiebron voor de zomercol zomercollectie 2013. De reis die designer en styliste Chantal maakte met haar man, dochter Kato (6) en zoon Jimi (8) bracht ze op drie Amira van de in totaal tien eilanden die Kaapverdie rijk is. Jimi en Kato waren vooral erg onder de indruk van de stoere manier waarop kinderen hier met elkaar spelen. Even een partijtje voetbal op het strand, dan een duik in de zee en weer verder banjeren op zoek naar nieuw avontuur. Mooi om te zien dat de bevolking bijna helemaal zelfvoorzienend is. Op de markt worden de net geplukte bananen verhandeld terwijl even verderop drie kinderen een met een harpoen gevangen inktvis doorverkopen aan het plaatselijke restaurant. Echt en oprecht “the catch of the day”. Veel van de grappige en stoere waterdieren zijn uiteindelijk prachtige prints geworden met als een van de knallers de top met skatende supergirlie turtle.“

Tropical Cape Verde was the source of inspiration for the 2013 summer collection. During their holiday to Cape Verdi, designer and stylist Chantal together with her husband, her daughter Kato (6) and her son Jimi (8), stayed on three of the glorious islands (ten in total) of which Cape Verde is comprised. The celebratory and relaxed African lifestyle, in combination with the humour and richness of detail so typical of Moodstreet, make this summer collection “most wanted” for stylish dancing girls and cool beach dudes! “The Aftrican influences were immediately tangible in the marvellous, no-stress mentality, the ubiquitous music and the almost daily parties. Jimi and Kato were especially impressed by the tirelessness of the children’s play. A game of football on the beach, a dip in the sea, then straight off in search of new adventures elsewhere. It is wonderful to see how the population is almost entirely self-supporting. On the market the bananas are traded almost as soon as they are picked, while down the road three children sell the squid - just caught with a harpoon - to the local restaurant. This truly is the ‘catch of the day’. Many of the amusing and sturdy aquatic Amira animals found here ultimately become fantastic prints, of which the skating supergirlie turtle top Shirt T64B2, is just one very fine example.“ Dress D91B2, Legging P36B2
