EMERALD ADAPTIVE BOWLING WINTER 2023 Ages 16+. Send those pins flying! This fun, accessible bowling league is designed for people experiencing physical or mental disabilities. Complete a registration form available at Willamalane Adult Activity Center 215 W C St. or during regularly scheduled league times. Participants will need to bring $10 each week for lane fees. BARN QUILT PAINTING CLASS Ages 18+. This six-hour class has guided instruction that will take you through the entire process of barn quilt painting. Choose from three dozen quilt patterns or bring your favorite and have the instructor evaluate the difficulty. At the end of class, you will have a unique masterpiece, ready for hanging. INTRO TO YIN AND NIDRA YOGA Ages 18+. Learn how longer-held, passive yin poses can help regulate stressed nervous systems and promote relaxation. Yoga Nidra is referred to as the “yoga for sleep.” Through guided imagery and relaxation prompts, participants are led into the space between meditation and sleep. The workshop agenda includes 30 minutes of lecture followed by an hour of Yin yoga practice. All poses are floor-based. Bring a yoga mat and pillow. Blankets and blocks will be provided.
