A magnificent Wedding venue, our historic landmark hotel, neighboring the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue, has been faithfully restored to her 1904 Beaux-Arts splendor. The Willard offers sumptuous world-class cuisine set in lush, intimate environments that are refined and stylish, yet supremely relaxed. Our entire staff is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of every guest.
The Willard InterContinental boasts 335 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites featuring all the amenities a luxury hotel offers. Wedding guests may also enjoy meals at our restaurants: CAFÉ DU PARC, classic bistro cuisine with Parisianstyle outdoor seating; ROUND ROBIN AND SCOTCH BAR; PEACOCK ALLEY for seasonal afternoon teas and evening cocktails; OCCIDENTAL GRILL & SEAFOOD, a staple of Washington DC, all are perfect locations for rehearsal dinners, brunches, and continuing celebration of your special moment. PAYMENT OPTIONS To secure your wedding at the Willard InterContinental, a deposit equivalent to 25% of the minimum food and beverage and rental fee is required with contract signature. All events must paid 10 business days in advance. Payments may be made by credit card, personal check, certified & cashier’s check, or cash. Please note the Hotel requires a credit card authorization to remain on file in addition to the primary method of payment. Final payments may only be made by certified check, cashier’s check or credit card. GUARANTEES To ensure adequate preparation, a guarantee of the number of persons attending is required by five working days prior to the event day. You will be charged for the guaranteed number. However, should your guest count increase by the time the event occurs, you will be charged for the additional guests accordingly.
MINIMUM FOOD AND BEVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Food and Beverage minimums are established by the Hotel according to demand, availability, and space requirements for your Wedding. Minimums vary based on the day of the week, time of the year, and day of interest. Your Catering Sales Manager will provide you with minimum requirements once you have established a date.
WEDDING TASTINGS Complimentary dinner tastings are available for Weddings of 100 guests or more for up to four guests, and must be scheduled in advance. Wedding tastings are available between Monday-Thursday at 2pm, and must be scheduled with 20 days advance notice, pending availability of the culinary team. Tastings are available only for the plated portion of the menu and your Wedding cake. TABLE SETTINGS A selection of damask ivory or golden floor length linens, white cloth napkins, five votive candles per table, your choice of charger plate, selection of table number frames, selection of china and silverware are provided by the Hotel. GUESTROOMS The Willard will provide one complimentary suite for the bride and groom on your Wedding night complete with a specialty amenity. The Hotel is happy to establish a courtesy room block for your out-of-town guests. Guestrooms are subject to 14.5% Room Tax. VENDORS We work with the best vendors in the DC area, and are happy to assist you with your needs for additional services. As a policy of the Hotel, all vendors/suppliers contracted must follow Hotel Guidelines. Please see our Vendor Guidelines. PARKING - 2015 Reduced event parking for your guests is available at $23.00 per vehicle if charged to the Master Account. Should your guests pay for parking charges individually, parking is $32.00 per vehicle. Please note rate is subject to change without notice. T H E C RYSTA L RO O M Evoking romantic elegance and intimacy, the sparkling Crystal Room shimmers in turn-of-the-century splendor. The Crystal Room was the original ballroom for the Willard InterContinental when it opened in 1901. It, too, has been brought back to its original design, with floor to ceiling windows, marble columns, and ornate hand-carved gold leaf crown-moldings. Ceremony Capacity: 250 | Reception Capacity: 130

Formerly the Willard Fine Dining Room, it has also been restored to its original design with six exquisite brass chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows, as well as hand-carved wood accents throughout the ceiling. T H E G R A N D BA L L RO O M Few venues rival the Willard InterContinental’s Grand Ballroom with its buttercup yellow, pale blue, and soft green hues, beveled mirrors, crystal chandeliers and beautifully hand-painted landscape. Six hand-crafted crystal chandeliers serve as the focal point of the space. The Grand Ballroom also features a private reception space for cocktails and desserts. Nestled between the Breezeway and CafÊ Du Parc, The Willard InterContinental’s Courtyard is an elegant, urban courtyard beautifully appointed with a two-tier water fountain which operates between Spring and Fall. The Breezeway beautifully bridges the two sides of the Willard Building, and creates an open, elegant atmosphere for cocktail receptions and intimate dinners. WEDDING CAKES Willard Weddings guests enjoy customized cakes prepared by our Executive Pastry Chef Gary O’Hanlon and our superb culinary team. Our cakes are made fresh, and covered with a luxurious Italian buttercream, perfect for the finest palates. We prepare a Faux Cake for display (up to five tiers) and serve individual slices beautifully decorated with quenelle of cream, fresh berries, spun sugar, and fruit coulis to each guest.
