Bill Sergison
Bill is a graduate of the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, U.K. where he received his Masters degree in Housing & Urbanism. While studying at the AA, Bill's thesis dissertation, "Circulatory Environments as a Method Towards Association," studied the under exploited potentials in circulation spaces within residential building typologies. Prior to studying at the AA, Bill earned an undergraduate degree in Architecture from the Catholic University of America, in Washington D.C. Bill approaches architecture and urbanism with a belief that they should be treated as a dialogue, which in turn can sharpen an agenda. Recent topics of Bill's studies and writing have been the evolving workplace, adaptive housing for young professionals, and the relationship between universities and businesses within a knowledge based economy. Bill has a background in high performance design which he continues to develop through employment with ZGF Architects, in D.C.
