Winchester 2nd, In Cinemas This is inspired by true events that occurred at the most haunted house in history. Helen Mirren stars as Sarah Winchester, an eccentric firearm heiress who believes that she is being haunted by the souls of people killed by the Winchester repeating rifle. The studio bought the film and photography rights to the mansion in California meaning that tourists are not allowed to photograph the interior.
Den of Thieves 2nd, In Cinemas Gerard Butler stars in this gritty crime saga which follows the lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff’s Department and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as they plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank. Writer and director Christian Gudegast is no stranger to high-octane thrillers having written 2016’s ‘London Has Fallen’ also starring Butler.
Black Panther In Cinemas, 12th Introduced in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, Black Panther gets his own entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as King T’Challa returns to Wakanda to face deadly challenges to his throne and conspiracies that threaten to destroy the nation. Chadwick Boseman is joined by Michael B Jordan, Martin Freeman and Forest Whitaker in the last MU film before all hell breaks loose in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
The Shape of Water 14th, In Cinemas In a 1960s research facility a mute janitor forms a relationship with a mysterious aquatic creature. This latest film from Guillermo del Toro has a cast including Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, Michael Stuhlbarg and Michael Shannon. Most of the characters were written with the actors in mind and the 1954 film, ‘The Creature From the Black Lagoon’, influenced the design of the creature.
