Spring Sports Season
Upcoming Events
We are incredibly excited about the arrival of the spring sports season! The Lady Vols Softball team is currently ranked 16th in the nation, and are excited about spending every weekend in March in front of a home crowd at Sherrie Parker Lee Stadium. The Baseball team begins their campaign at the newly renovated Lindsey Nelson Stadium, with pre-season All-Americans Cody Hawn and Blake Forsythe, as well as left handed pitcher, and 3rd Round Draft pick Brian Morgado. Beyond this, our Men’s Tennis team is currently ranked 4th in the nation, with the Lady Vols program ranked in the top-15. The Tennessee Track programs are also looking forward to hosting the Sea Ray Relays, and SEC Championship, which will take place later on this spring. This is certainly going to be a great spring on Rocky Top!

Big Orange Caravan Winter Tour
Tennessee Terrace
The Big Orange Caravan Winter Tour concluded on Tuesday, February 23rd, with dual events at Memphis, TN and Franklin, TN. A new event added to the Big Orange Caravan this year were viewing events at Regal Cinemas across the state of Tennessee. These events were well attended and we hope to have even more events at Regal Cinemas next year!
With the arrival of Coach Dooley and the excitement surrounding a new era of Tennessee football, the anticipation of the 2010 season is already high on Rocky Top. Construction on Neyland Stadium continues to progress through the winter, and Tennessee Terrace is beginning to take shape. All donations received by March 1, 2010, will count towards the seat selection priority in Tennessee Terrace. Seat selections will be made this summer, with additional information to follow as the time approaches.
There were 20 Big Orange Caravans this winter and over 800 donors and fans attended the receptions. The Tennessee Fund staff was excited to travel the state and we would like to BOC thank everyone who attended the BOC receptions.
