Fifth Ave Residential ThisClient:Pittsburgh,2019-2022PennsylvaniaMcAllisterEquitiesdevelopmentwillprovide 51 rental units to the Uptown Neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The brick facade and large windows help the building assimilate into the historic residential neighborhood while the fiber-cement infill panels introduce a modern component into the Involvement:design.

I worked with the client to develop the building concept, making value-based decisions throughout the design process.

For this project, we deployed a 5-over-1 concept which, is grounded by a primarily brick base and capped by a recessed fiber cement capital. This allowed for efficient floor layouts while providing a wide variety of spacious units.

My involvement continued through construction documents, the selection of finish materials, and marketing materials for the client. By maintaining a good and constructive working relationship with the contractor, I was able to assist in the production of building details, respondence of submittals and RFIs, and performance of punch list reviews.

Competition ProposalsThroughoutClient:Pittsburgh,03OngoingPennsylvaniaVariesmytimeatIndovina,Ihave participated in the creation of a number of RFP and Competition Proposals. These fast-paced projects have given me the opportunity to work with a small team to produce high quality proposal Involvement:packages.Concept Design, Materials Palette Selection, Diagrammatic Analysis, Rendered Views, Fee Approximation, Project Schedule Development. 12

The output for these proposals involve varying materials including diagrams, renderings, conceptual floor plans and sections, project schedules, the assembly of consultant teams, firm information, and fee approximations. Project Presentation Ongoing 04 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Client: Varies The production of rendered views provides a more intuitive presentation of our designs for many clients who may struggle with technical drawings. Oftentimes, this is a primary driver in client decision-making, and a critical role that I thoroughly enjoy. Late-project renders for client’s marketing require much closer collaboration with the client to convey their product to a wider Involvement:audience.Client Collaboration and Interaction, Image Staging, Creative Direction, 3D Rendering, Post Production 17

18

Working at a variety of scales helps to generate a comprehensive understanding of the project. Within each image, or series of images, I strive to set a tone and atmosphere to help the viewer understand the experience of the project. Collaboration with clients, consultants, and interior designers is critical to the generation of the final image.

The high-rise mimics Judd’s multi-colored metal works. and creates a dynamic structure intended to house his rigid, minimalistic art pieces.

The building’s circulation highlights the visitor’s procession through the project as they move from gallery to gallery — each representing a different stage of Judd’s artistic career.

The upper levels of the building contain high-end condominiums that echo Judd’s minimalist, efficient lifestyle.
