Assembly
Mandatory for all Upper School students. Parents are encouraged to attend, Athletic Center Please join us for our mandatory upper school assembly in the Athletic Center. We typically gather weekly to share performances, news, and upcoming events. We have arranged a special treat for families at this particular assembly in order to showcase the amazing variety of interesting endeavors that are pursued by our students. You’ll get a snapshot of the result of the passion and dedication our students apply to their education here at Williston. 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m.
Lunch
Students and parents attend class lunches in the following locations; Freshman: Dodge Room, Sophomores: Lobby of Athletic Center, Juniors: Reed Lower level, Seniors: Birch Dining Commons

Fall Theater Production of Rumors
Written by the father of American comedy, Neil Simon, Rumors pokes fun at the high–stakes, frivolous world of upper class New Yorkers. Performances are October 18–20 and 25-27, all performances begin at 7:30 p.m. with the exception of October 26 which begins at 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 26 is free for Williston families. Sharon Saline, Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Northampton, will present “What were you thinking?”: Understanding the Teenage Brain and Executive Functioning Skills. This talk will give you helpful, concrete information about how the developing adolescent brain affects thinking, organization, and problem-solving. Using humor, recent developments in neuroscience and clinical examples, Dr. Saline will share strategies that you can use to better support your child both at school and at home. 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
