It really is an exciting time to be joining Wiltshire College & University Centre! Whichever campuses our students’ study at, there has been significant investment over the past decade, bringing it into the 21st Century, which has benefitted everyone.

Following £22million of investment from the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) in 2017, the College has been busy refurbishing and building at both its Salisbury and Lackham campuses.

Work in Salisbury to reclad parts of the existing building were competed last year and after the demolition of one of the former buildings, a new three-story building has been constructed in its place, the roof for which has just been completed. To complete the building works at this campus, one more building, the Bourne building, will be demolished.

Over at Lackham, the College’s specialist land-based campus, just on the outskirts of hippenham, £9million works are well underway. The former Animal Centre and enclosures were demolished to make way for modern, industry standard facilities and former classrooms and science labs were transformed into an impressive Exotic Centre featuring large vivaria, which will house reptiles, birds and fish. Students joining us this September will be the first to experience this fantastic new facility.
