CROSS LAKES EXPERIENCE BOAT - BUS - BOAT SERVICE

The journey to Hill Top takes approximately 20 minutes; Beatrix Potter’s house is open every day except Fridays, (however the garden and shop are open every day). The beautiful village of Hawkshead is a further 10 minutes along the road here you will find a selection of shops and cafés, along with the Beatrix Potter Gallery, displaying a large collection of her original illustrations. Quizzes available for children. The Beatrix Potter Gallery is open every day during June, July, August and every day except Fridays at other times of the year (however, the nearby shop is open every day).
