Hear big ideas at the Lyceum. Just like in ancient Greece. Aristotle’s students at the Lyceum were lucky: He walked around and lectured while they soaked up what he said. You’re luckier: Wingate University’s Lyceum Series offers more than lectures. Lyceum is a program designed to expose students to ideas and opportunities they don’t have in the classroom. Students must attend 24 Lyceum events to graduate. You choose four from each of the four types of Lyceum events and can select the remaining 8 from any category. The four types of Lyceum events are as follows: • • • •

Academic events Faith and character development sessions Fine arts presentations and performances Personal and professional growth seminars
