Disney Theater Camp Come perform, learn, celebrate, and play! This program combines summer day camp activities and fine arts! This unique camp offers a combination of outdoor time, creative play, storytelling, theater dramatics, and educational experiences for children ages four to six years of age. Each week will have a new Disney theme with lessons, activities, and play based on the weekly theme. Activities may include adventure walks, outdoor play, creative dramatics, play practice, arts and crafts, water play, and more! Each week culminates with a special event. Age: 4-6

Camp Amigos
Tiny Treks Mini Camp
Everyday will be a special day at Camp Amigos. We will laugh, play, create, sing, paint, cook and discover great wonders all while learning Spanish! Camp Amigos uses a highly controlled vocabulary introduced in conjunction with fun theme days. All instructors are experienced in early childhood and at least one instructor is a native speaker.
Tiny Treks is an innovative program for families who want to teach their children about the world through exploration of their natural surroundings. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences which build self-esteem and encourage a love of nature. In this class activities will include short stimulating hikes in a variety of outdoor settings, music, art projects and games. Please bring a Peanut free lunch and bottled water with a back pack.

Fantasy Dance Camp This very popular camp incorporates imagination, movement, pantomime, music, dance and enchanting costumes to make for a wonderful summer experience. Each week we will explore a new theme, learn basic ballet, improve motor skills, complete an arts & crafts project and enjoy a yummy snack. Please have your child toilet trained as the instructor will not change diapers. This camp meets one day a week for two hours. You may sign up for as many days as you wish. Chess Wizards Summer Camp Would you like to go on a journey to learn cool openings, midgames with all the pins, double attacks, endgames and even bughouse? Would you like to be a part of a successful chess team, designed to cater to all levels of chess players? If so, join Chess Wizards for this camp! Campers will learn how to play chess in a fun atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor activities. This camp is for beginning and intermediate level players. No previous experience is needed. Children should bring their own lunch and a drink, but snacks will be provided. Space Adventures Camp
The Ultimate Minecraft Camp
Inspired by NASA and Star Wars? Our Space Adventures Camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Each day, campers will learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to the NASA space program. In addition, the day includes LEGO® Star Wars themed models, video games, group games, challenges and more. Bricks 4 Kidz Space Adventure camp provides the spark for imagination and creativity to take off on an adventure that’s out of this world! Each camper will receive a Star Wars themed mini figure to play with during the week which they will then get to keep at the end of the camp.
Minecraft Coding and Minecraft Power Users, two great camps in one! Each day we’ll work with two different Minecraftbased platforms. Learn how to code using the Minecraft ComputerCraft Mod: Working with a partner you’ll start out programming with a graphical interface and then evolve to textbased coding as you learn to program with Lua. As a Minecraft Power User, you will learn how to expand your world’s abilities using a popular game-enhancing mods. Participate in building challenges, learn more about Redstone, from basic mining and logic circuits to more advance circuits. Build traps, arrow launchers, faster rail systems and more. This camp is for Intermediate and Advanced Minecrafters - Some basic prior experience with Minecraft is required.

Hot Shots Sports Summer Sports Camp
Chicago Bulls Basketball Schools
Join us for our annual summer camp where kids participate in a stimulating and competitive environment. Focus will be on helping kids with teamwork and fundamentals while playing a variety of sports throughout the week. Prizes and awards will be given out daily, and participants will be rewarded for effort and sportsmanship. The Chicago Bulls are coming to your neighborhood! No one can teach basketball better than the Chicago Bulls! This summer, learn from the best and let the Chicago Bulls teach you how to play like a Champion! Since 1999, the Chicago Bulls have brought quality basketball camps to boys and girls throughout Chicagoland. More than 45,000 youth basketball players have developed essential basketball fundamentals including: ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, individual moves, footwork, and team concepts. High school and college courts across the country are home to graduates of a Chicago Bulls Basketball Summer Camp. We work on every part of your child?s game. On the final day all participants will receive an evaluation form and graduation certificate. Student to instructor ratio will be 10:1 or less. Every Chicago Bulls summer camp participant receives an EXCLUSIVE UNITED CENTER EXPERIENCE!! Each camp participant, along with one guest, will be invited to the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls, for a Q&A session with a Bulls personality and a current and or former Bulls player! During the camp each player will compete in the Bulls Skills Competition. At the end of the summer, the top three contestants will compete in the finals on the floor of the United Center (date TBD). Each camper will receive a Chicago Bulls duffel bag, Bulls indoor/outdoor basketball, t-shirt, evaluation report and graduation certificate. The Chicago Bulls Summer Camp is offered to two age groups. The rookie camp for children ages 6-8 is a beginner camp focused on building fundamentals and fun drills to get the kids to understand the game and improve their play. For the older kids, ages 9-12, coaches work on the “team� concept and refining and advancing the skills for the serious or soon-tobe serious player. You are sure to improve your ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and footwork!

Hoops4Health Build the Skills Basketball Camp Our basketball camp will help the beginner and advanced basketball player. Each week will cater to a different fundamental basketball skill. These skills include Shooting, Dribbling, Passing, Rebounding, and Defense. We will also teach proper teamwork and sportsmanship which is vital to becoming a strong basketball player. Our professional staff has worked with kids of all ages and skill levels. We take great pride in personal attention and hands on teaching. There will be many fun games and prizes throughout the clinic. We will also develop how to play in 5 on 5 games while using proper spacing and teamwork. We will also teach the rules of the game. Our goal is that each player comes out with a better understanding of how to play the game and develop the fundamental basketball skills necessary to excel at the game. Our professional staff has worked with kids of all ages and skill levels. We take great pride in personal attention and hands on teaching. At the end of each camp week awards will be given out for including MVP, Defensive Player, Sportsmanship, and Most Improved. Therefore, each person registering himself\herself or a family member for a recreation program/activity should review his/her own health insurance policy for coverage. It must be noted that the absence of health insurance coverage does not make Winnetka Community House automatically responsible for payment of medical expenses. Due to the difficulty and high cost of obtaining liability insurance, the agency providing liability coverage for Winnetka Community House requires the execution of the following Waiver and Release. A refund, less a 10% service charge (not to exceed $25), may be granted if the refund request is received five full working days prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be allowed after this time unless a medical condition develops and a written explanation from a physician on his/her letterhead is presented. Due to advanced reservation requirements, no refunds for trips, outings, or special events will be given. Classes may be prorated if you would like to enroll in a class after it has started, provided the instructor has space, and allows for late registration.
