GAME 3 • TUESDAY, JANUARY 19, 2021 • 6:00 P.M. CT • CANADIAN TIRE CENTRE

The Jets suffered their first loss of the season on Monday night, 3-1 to the Toronto Maple Leafs after beginning their season with a 4-3 overtime win against the Calgary Flames at Bell MTS Place on Thursday night.

Kyle Connor leads the team in scoring through the first two games of the season with four points (2G, 2A).

Connor is joined by defenceman Derek Forbort (2A) and Neal Pionk (2A) as the only three players for the Jets to notch a point in each of the first two games this season.

Monday’s loss ended Winnipeg’s five-game regular season winning streak dating back to last season.

The Jets play seven times on Tuesdays this season, including each of the next four weeks. Winnipeg went 8-7-3 on Tuesdays last season.

Monday and Tuesday is the first of nine back-to-back games this season. Winnipeg went 5-4-0 in the first game and 4-5-0 in the second game last season.

The Jets play 56 games against the six other Canadian teams as part of the NHL’s Scotia North Division.

The Jets play 10 games against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators, while they have nine games against the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadians, and Vancouver Canucks.

Winnipeg plays three of their first four games on the road, before staying at Bell MTS Place for a season-high seven game road trip.
