The Jets returned to the win column with a 4-3 overtime victory against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday in the first game of three consecutive games between the two sides.

Both of Winnipeg’s wins this season have been by a 4-3 score in overtime.

Kyle Connor leads the team in scoring through the first three games of the season with five points (3G, 2A). He has a goal in each game.

Connor is joined by defenceman Neal Pionk (3A) as the only other player with a point in the first three games this season.

Blake Wheeler (1G, 1A), Josh Morrissey (2A), and Mark Scheifele (2A) had multi-point games on Tuesday to join Kyle Connor and Patrik Laine – three points on opening night vs. Calgary – as Jets that have posted multi-point games this season. No member of the Jets has posted multiple multi-point games yet this season.

Winnipeg has won six of their past seven regular season games dating back to last season.

Recap: The Jets battled back from a 3-1 second period deficit to beat the Ottawa Senators 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday night. Winnipeg scored in each period, including the game-tying goal with 1:17 left in the third period. Blake Wheeler (1G, 1A), Josh Morrissey (2A), and Mark Scheifele (2A) each had two points for the Jets, while Nikolaj Ehlers tallied the game-winning goal.
