GAME 38 • FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2021 • 7:00 P.M. • BELL MTS PLACE

The Jets play the second game of a shortened two-game homestand on Friday with the second of two games against the Maple Leafs. The two games against the Vancouver Canucks scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday have been postponed after two players and a staff member of the Canucks entered the NHL’s COVID protocol.

The Maple Leafs are the last team in the Canadian Division to visit Winnipeg this season. The first four meetings between the two sides took place in Toronto.

Winnipeg is in a stretch of eight of 13 home games.

The Jets have points in 14 of their past 21 games (13-7-1), which included a season high four-game winning streak from Feb. 19-27.

After playing 17 games in 31 days in March, the Jets have 13 games on the schedule in 30 days in April.

Mark Scheifele is fifth in NHL scoring with 44 points (15G, 29A) in 37 games this season.

Winnipeg has used the same 18 skaters and two goaltenders for their past 12 games.

With Kyle Connor (17), Mark Scheifele (15), and Nikolaj Ehlers (15), the Jets are the only team in the NHL this season with three players that have at least 15 goals.

Kyle Connor is on a four-game point streak (1G, 5A).
