Scene Setter The Winnipeg Jets play the middle game of their three-game California road trip on Thursday when they make their only trip to Staples Center this season to play the Los Angeles Kings. Winnipeg beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-3 on Tuesday night to start the road trip and extend their winning streak to three games. The Jets wrap up the trip on Saturday against the San Jose Sharks.

The Jets have scored four goals in four consecutive games for the seventh time since relocation. The three occurrences of scoring four goals in five consecutive games in franchise history happened when the franchise was in Atlanta.
