Scene Setter The Winnipeg Jets continue a three-game road trip on Saturday night when they visit the San Jose Sharks. Winnipeg started its season on Wednesday with a 4-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. The Jets finish their trip on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild before hosting the Ducks on Thursday in Winnipeg’s home opener.

The Jets have won four consecutive games against the Sharks at SAP Center. Winnipeg hasn’t lost their first two games to start a season since 2017-18 when the Jets went 52-20-10 and reached the Western Conference Final. Mark Scheifele returns to the lineup on Saturday after missing the past four games due to a suspension going back to last season’s playoffs.
