Roosevelt Row in Phoenix is a place where all creatives can come and express themselves. The area is made up of numerous restaurants, art galleries, bars and more. The goal was to create a space that reflects the ever-changing nature of the Roosevelt Row area.

The Canvas is a space created for the purpose of bringing the Downtown Phoenix community together through art and culture. At the Canvas, the goal is to celebrate all kinds of local artists, while also inspiring new talent.

Cornerstone
Live-work unit design for a family of Navajo descent in Phoenix, Arizona.
Cornerstone is in the Downtown Phoenix area amongst a variety of different building types such as cafes, retail stores, restaurants, and apartment complexes. This live-work space is nestled on the corner of 2nd street and E Roosevelt St. in the middle of the art district of Downtown Phoenix, more commonly referred to as Roosevelt Row. This is an area where artists can thrive in the selling and creation of art.
The term “Cornerstone” reflects an important quality or feature on which a particular thing depends or is based. In relation to Navajo culture, this is a a space where their culture can be taught to those in the community. The triangle formation of the overall structure pays tribute to the Scared Mountains and the Navajo creation story. Software AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape
