The Farmhouse Inn is a beautiful 17th century listed building which offers bags of character and charm with modern day comforts.
The Farmhouse in Southwick is a popular village pub renowned for its wide variety of tasty home-cooked food, as well as superb real ales and fine wines. It is a lovely place to enjoy lunch, dinner or a drink, with friendly efficient service.

The Farmhouse also boasts a large and well appointed separate function room, fully equipped with its own bar, private garden and patio area, with disco and DJ if required, making it an ideal venue for weddings, parties, or business meetings. During the pandemic this area of the pub was sadly out of action but now things are at last returning to normal, owners Adam and Janet are delighted to have been able to re-open it and are now taking bookings for the rest of 2021 and well into next year!
The function room is licensed to hold up to 150 guests and is perfect for weddings, parties, meetings and those much missed festive get-togethers. To find out more just ring the pub and speak to Adam or Janet and they’ll be able to help you with any questions and prices. They are also renowned for their Christmas parties, which will be returning this year. Adam says, “We are excited to be doing Christmas parties again in our function room Fridays and Saturday evenings, which will include a meal and a disco. Our menus are on the website, or you can ring or pop in to get more details. We all missed out on Christmas last year so we must try and move on and make the most of it in 2021!” Regardless of the time of year you can enjoy lunch and dinner in the restaurant every day. They have a Burger Night every Tuesday when you can enjoy one of six delicious burger offerings with fries, coleslaw and salad for £10. Or perhaps you’d like to try their steak on a hot stone? It’s a great way to try your favourite steak, sizzling at your table with all your favourite sides. There is also a daily specials board which makes the most of the best seasonal produce and there is a light bites option too.
Janet says, “A big thank you to all our customers that have supported us through these very difficult times, it has been so nice seeing all your faces again as things start to return to something more like normal. We are still very conscious of sanitising and social distancing to ensure everyone feels safe when they come to see us. We hope to see you all soon.”
