I vividly remember dreaming of coming to this country growing up in Costa Rica and admiring some of its presidents for representing many of the great values that make America truly great. None of these values are represented today by the fellow who inhabits the beautiful White House on Pennsylvania Avenue I so proudly stood in front of for photos one day.

Our country deserves so much better than a president who lies, cheats, discriminates and offends on a regular basis. We should not settle for a man who frankly dishonors the office he currently holds and often makes a mockery of our beloved nation on the world stage. Why are we settling for something so low as the embarrassing soap opera of a so called president who lies to our faces and treats the American people as he has treated his real estate business minions for a lifetime? We shouldn’t!

We need to take action and not settle for the lowest of the lowest in our American presidency. Whether you are a Republican, Democrat or Independent, we must all demand that our president represent the values our founding fathers penned in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, instead of the exact opposite. The midterm elections will soon provide the American people with an opportunity to show we can take action, vote and make a difference – rather than settling for the filth at the bottom of the swamp!
