DEAR WHOEVER

I am going to keep this short. Not because I don’t have a lot to say, nor because I don’t want to say more. I have learned that the best things in life can be cut short. Experiences, relationships, lives. Though it is easy to harbor bitterness because there wasn’t more, I choose to take the notably harder route—living in the moment.

So to myself and to you: enjoy who and what you have now. Continue to plan for the future, but don’t let that get in the way of what is now. Because now is the only guarantee that we have in this world, no matter how short that now may be.
