To date, I have visited Yellowknife, Northwest Territories twice in 2009, both in summer and winter. Nothing could have prepared me for the wonder and beauty that was waiting for me. Quietness almost becomes deafening. You become comforted by the breeze whispering in a subtle tone, that you are not alone. In the summer, sunlight becomes a celebration, taking full control over darkness, and then submissive in the winter. The omnipotent sky takes hold in the forever landscape with dancing clouds and colours from beyond this world. The people are open and friendly, welcoming the newest traveler that happens to stumble in. Let me take you through my experiences.
