How to Use

Step1: Pass each cord of the earphones into each channel through the slits at the sides. Step 2: When the earphones are not in use, just slide the Rewind towards the ear-buds.

Step 3: Wrap the earphone cord around the Rewind in such a way that the wound cord rests in the curvature of Rewind. Step 4: To use the earphones again just unwind the cord, slide the Rewind down while the wires remain in their respec ve channels and of course leave it a ached and show the world your trendy Rewind.

Rewind Story Behind The Ultimate Earphone Entanglement Solution A.Concep on With Witworks’ first product, we wanted to address a small yet prevalent problem. The Idea to develop an earphone cord management solu on cap vated both our interest and need, having personally faced the problem in the past. The problem was very clear. We buy our earphones with much love (and cash), but every me we stuff them in our pockets, they get awfully entangled. The process of untangling the cords is a pain, and damages them over me. One fine day, the wire within snaps and one of the ear-buds goes silent. We wanted to figure the best possible product solu on to this by developing a beau ful and simple, yet func onal design.

B. Iden fying User Needs The solu on needed to be simple (no springs or retractors please) and stay a ached to the earphones (don’t want to carry around yet another thing!) without ruining the way the User looked - “my earphones and I look smashing together. Need nothing else hanging on them”. Also, it had to treat the earphones real nice.

C. Concept Genera on: For Rewind, a lot of groundwork was done on dimensioning various types of earphones, with and without the microphone. Once the specs were with us, we got all hands on the deck for concept genera on. Our concepts were born out of observing each stage of user interac on with a cord management solu on. Every single concept generated was then carefully drawn to enable earphones to wrap around perfectly. D. Design and Development A er the concepts of Rewind were ready on paper, it was me to go high tech! 3D models of the product were created to ďŹ nalize its dimensions, be er visualize the product and evaluate its manufacturability. The next step in design of Rewind was to explore various materials to achieve the required func on, texture, and look. Several materials were felt for texture and tested for strength. It was a logical choice to se le for TPE given the design requirements. Besides, Rewind not only needed to work well, it needed to look smashing! We strongly believe in solving problems in style. Thus, each color and print for Rewind was painstakingly chosen to have a unique iden ty.
