Happy Finals Week! You've got this! Today's newsletter contains information on a toy drive for the Bowling Green Boys & Girls Club, WKU volleyball's start in the NCAA tournament and WKU Lady Toppers' second best start in program history Have a great day!

SGA collecting toy donations for Bowling Green Boys & Girls Club

The WKU Student Government Association is partnering with Student Activities to host a toy drive from Nov 20 through Dec 3 for the Boys & Girls Club of Bowling Green SGA passed Bill 20-24-F during its last meeting on Nov. 19. The bill allocates $200 for extra toys for the toy drive. Students can drop off donated toys for children ages 3 through 16 in the SGA or Student Activities offices in DSU One service hour will be awarded per toy, with a maximum cap of five service hours for those seeking community service opportunities

WKU Volleyball to start NCAA tournament campaign in Lexington

WKU Volleyball will play the first round of the NCAA tournament just 150 miles from Diddle Arena

The NCAA released the 2024 volleyball tournament bracket Sunday and with it, the Hilltoppers were chosen to play their first and possibly second round games in Lexington The Hilltoppers will take on the six-seed Minnesota Gophers in the first round

WKU Women’s Basketball kept their unbeaten season alive Sunday with a 79-60 win over Miami (Ohio) at Diddle Arena With the win, the Hilltoppers improved to a 7-0 record. According to a press release from WKU Athletics, the start is the second-best in program history, tied with the 1987-1988 team “The most rewarding part is looking down and seeing 17 assists, looking down and seeing 20 plus forced turnovers almost every single night and looking down and seeing different players lead the team in different categories,” Head Coach Greg Collins said on the Lady Toppers’ strong start ” Guard Alexis Mead exploded for 24 points on 4for-6 shooting from three and guard Josie Gilvin took over with 21 points on 7-for-10 shooting
