Dear readers,
The first time I ever visited Bowling Green was roughly four years ago to tour WKU. I immediately fell in love with the campus, but it was over these past few years that I truly started to fall in love with the city of Bowling Green. Growing up in Georgia, I was unfamiliar with the dining and shopping options in Bowling Green, and after living here for four years, I am still discovering new places. I have a list of over 60 restaurants in Bowling Green that I want to try before I graduate. With just a few weeks left, I still have almost half of the list left. Just as there are so many great restaurants to try, there are so many other things that make Bowling Green special. Whether it is hiking with my friends at Shanty Hollow, taking my parents to Chaney’s Dairy Barn or even shopping at Greenwood Mall, the memories I have made living in Bowling Green will forever be near and dear to my heart.
I hope this guide inspires you to try new places that will grow your appreciation for Bowling Green and all it has to offer. If there is a place listed that you do not recognize, grab some friends and go try it! Who knows, you may discover one of your new favorite places.
