WKU Track & Field hosted the Brent Chumbley Memorial Hilltopper Relays on Friday and Saturday, where the Hilltoppers took first place in 18 events on their home track.

The Hilltoppers had the most first-place finishes among the four teams competing Bellarmine, Brescia and Belmont all sent athletes to Bowling Green to participate The event was renamed to honor the late Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Brent Chumbley who died on Jan 31

The Hilltoppers dugout reacts to a strike during

WKU Softball takes series against LA Tech

WKU Softball secured its first Conference USA series win against Louisiana Tech March 28-29 in front of its home crowd

The series win was a full-team effort by the Hilltoppers. Across the two-day series, WKU hit a total of five home runs, and WKU’s four pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts

The Hilltoppers are now 17-15 on the season and 4-7 in CUSA

WKU Baseball sweeps Sam Houston

WKU Baseball earned its Conference USA series win against Sam Houston State University March 28-30 at Nick Denes Field

The Hilltoppers improved to a 4-2 conference record and remained a perfect 21-0 at home and 25-3 overall

WKU’s pitching staff played a key role in the sweep, allowing just one run in the series. Through the three games, the Hilltoppers staff held SHSU to 15 hits and 3-for-19 with runners in scoring position.
