The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to be considered for need-based aid, including the Bronco Promise. The FAFSA opens in December. March 1 is our priority deadline. Financial aid awarding begins in January.

Empowering Futures scholarships for Michigan residents
Bronco Promise Free tuition and fees for up to five years for full-time, first-year students whose family has an adjusted gross income of $50,000 or less and net assets below $50,000. FAFSA must be completed by July 1.
Bronco Connect 100+ housing scholarships up to $6,000 each awarded annually to full-time, undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need based on FAFSA.
Seita Scholars Program
Available to students who have lived in foster care during their teenage years. • 46% higher graduation rate than national average for foster care youth.
†GPA requirements are based on the cumulative GPA on a 4.00 scale. Transcript GPAs that are not on a 4.00 scale will be recalculated accordingly. Scholarships are awarded based on the transcript GPA at the time of admission.
