“WOE UNTO THEM THAT CALL EVIL GOOD , and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” The famous biblical passage from Isaiah offers a chilling but disarmingly accurate characterization of today’s Democratic Party, which has descended to its darkest, most perverse and pathological low point in history—except perhaps for its fierce defense of slavery, until the Civil War put an end to that.
Whether viewed through the prism of power politics, ideology, psychology or religious faith, the Democratic Party of 2024 has become a daily showcase of exactly the kind of remorseless lying, gaslighting and projection—i.e., calling “evil good, and good evil”—that is condemned in the Bible.
In fact, Democrats’ 180-degree moral-inversion modus operandi has become so reliably extreme that it has evolved into something of a crystal ball, allowing one to discern not only what the far-left ruling elites are
secretly doing right now, but also what they intend to do next.
How can that be? By carefully noting the crimes, conspiracies and corruption which Democrat leaders falsely accuse conservatives of perpetrating, one can gain uncannily accurate insight into the very crimes, conspiracies and corruption they themselves are covertly pursuing right now—and planning for the future.
Consider:
• Democrats accuse Republicans of being lawless, a claim epitomized by their massive lawfare campaign against the GOP’s current leader, President Donald J. Trump, who in a short period of time has been accused of over 100 different crimes in left-wing jurisdictions nationwide—all in an effort to block his reelection and make sure he dies in prison. Yet despite the prevailing Opposite Land narrative, reality turns out to be quite different: Democrats have proven to be the lawless party, abusing America’s bestin-the-world legal system in its wild persecution of Trump. The truth of this assessment was affirmed recently by the Supreme Court’s humiliating unanimous decision annihilating one of the Democrats’ lawfare cases against Trump. Ironically, while Democrats claim the 45th president is a big-time criminal, in reality it is Joe Biden, America’s 46th president, who heads up an actual crime family involving at least nine family members, as House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has revealed.
Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., recently put it this way: “I believe that this is the most corrupt family ever in a position of power in this country’s history. We’re talking about a level of corruption that is so far beyond what we’ve seen with previous political leaders.”
• Far worse than Democrats’ persecution of Donald Trump and simultaneous defense of an epically corrupt man like Joe Biden is their mass criminal prosecutions and imprisonment of hundreds of innocent, patriotic Americans for simply protesting the theft of the 2020 election. In so doing, the Biden administration has embraced the kind of unthinkable political weaponization of the legal system that previously was associated with the most brutal and corrupt Third World dictators.
Ultimately, the hundreds of unjust Jan. 6 prosecutions, convictions and lengthy incarcerations are simply part of Democrats’ appalling campaign to brand not just Trump, but his supporters, as terrorists and “insurrectionists” attempting to overthrow America’s constitutional system of government.
But being Opposite Land, that analysis is not only nonsensical, it is precisely opposite to the truth: Attempting to undermine the American constitutional system, for which the elites have barely disguised contempt, is precisely what today’s Democratic leadership does 24/7, as many of the following examples demonstrate.
• Democrats daily accuse Republicans, as well as essentially the entire American middle class, of being racists, bigots and white supremacists. In reality, of course, it is Democrats who have historically, generation after generation, practiced and championed overt racism: Democrats were the party of slavery, while the Republican Party came into existence in 1854 explicitly as the “anti-slavery party.” Democrats opposed Reconstruction after the Civil War and founded the Ku Klux Klan in 1865, making up most of its membership. They were likewise the main force behind Jim Crow laws for many decades afterward.
Fast-forward to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. The great
American middle class had largely been persuaded by the noble, nonviolent movement, capped off by Rev. Martin Luther King’s stirring “I have a dream” speech in August of 1963, that they too, like King, desired to “live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Yet the following year, it was Senate Democrats who filibustered the historic 1964 Civil Rights Act for an astounding 60 days—the longest filibuster in U.S. history—in a desperate attempt to block the anti-segregation bill’s passage. Today, 60 years later in 2024 America, it is Democrats, not Republicans, who are utterly obsessed with hiring and firing, promoting and demoting, rewarding and punishing, favoring and rejecting people solely on the basis of their skin color. Long forsaken by the left is the entire Civil Rights Movement and MLK’s cherished “dream” of a color-blind America.
And yet, according to the party that championed slavery, opposed Reconstruction, pushed Jim Crow laws and tried desperately to kill the ’64 Civil Rights Act, the United States of America—hands-down the least racist nation in all of history—is irredeemably racist. And all because of those racist, white-supremacist, Klan-loving Republicans! That’s what it means to live in Opposite Land.
• Democrats perennially accuse Republicans of “voter suppression” for insisting people identify themselves as U.S. citizens
before voting in elections that will largely determine the future of their nation. As Kamala Harris alleged in a 2020 op-ed, Republicans, by supporting Voter ID, are “doing everything in their power to suppress and attack the voting rights of people of color.”
Incredibly, Democrats’ opposition to Voter ID persists in an era when the Biden administration has intentionally engineered a massive foreign invasion of non-citizens into America, bringing in well over ten million illegal aliens so far during his term, all for the ultimate and obvious (if unspoken) purpose of creating millions of new Democratic voters.
Democrats’ end game is to transform America into a permanent oneparty state—perpetually run by them. So, while Voter ID is obviously more necessary than ever for preserving election integrity and therefore preserving the nation itself, Democrats oppose it. But what sort of reason, one might well ask, could Democrats possibly concoct to justify opposition to such a clearly needed, universally accepted and common-sense measure?
Unfortunately for Democrats, who like Biden and Harris claim Voter ID serves only to suppress black voter turnout, their sole argument is transparently racist, since its unavoidable implication is that “people of color” are somehow too poor, ignorant, incompetent or stupid to obtain a government-issued ID. Yet, no one in America can open a bank account, cash a check, fly in an airplane, rent a car, stay in a hotel, pick up a doctor’s prescription or, in general, navigate this life without a government ID. Nevertheless, Biden has repeatedly called Voter ID laws—which, ironically, polls show blacks overwhelmingly support—the equivalent of “Jim Crow 2.0.”
• Thousands of America’s children are being groomed and seduced into undergoing horrendous transgender amputation surgeries and other unthinkable and irreversible medical “treatments” that literally destroy their lives—leading many to commit suicide. Indeed, Medical News Today in 2022 reported on new research showing transgender teens are more than seven times as likely to commit suicide as other teenagers. Yet President Biden, whose administration enthusiastically supports—and funds with taxpayers’ money—the mass-hysteria transgender craze, recently condemned as “close to sinful” the efforts of good people to stop the mass mutilation of America’s children. Likewise, “gender-affirming” psychologist Dr. Harriette Wimms, clinical director for the Village Family Support Center in Baltimore, Maryland, has announced publicly that parents who oppose cutting the breasts and/or sex organs off their children have a “mental illness.”
Once again, in Opposite Land the people merrily leading children into lifelong misery, disability, conflict and suicide accuse loving, protective parents and other right-thinking people who oppose the demonic transgender craze of being “sinful” and having a “mental illness.”
• Democrats are obsessed with eliminating fossil fuels in order to save the planet and keep it habitable for the human race—or so they claim. But reality is precisely 180 degrees opposite from what left-wing global-warming zealots say, a truth neatly summarized in the title of the 2022 bestseller
by energy expert Alex Epstein, “Fossil Future: Why Global Human Flourishing Requires More Oil, Coal, and Natural Gas— Not Less.” Even Greenpeace co-founder Dr. Patrick Moore enthusiastically affirms the truth of “Fossil Future” and condemns the left’s obsession with imposing “Net Zero” greenhouse gas emissions on America (though mysteriously, not on China). Moore characterizes the effect Democrats’ climate-change policies would eventually have on the world’s population in the starkest terms possible: “If we actually achieved Net Zero, at least 50% of the population would die of hunger and disease.”
In Opposite Land, climatealarmist leftists, globalists and Democrats accuse Republicans, most of whom oppose Biden’s wanton throttling of America’s fossil-fuel industries, of helping make the earth uninhabitable by driving gasoline-powered automobiles and heating their homes with natural gas or oil. But in the real world, it is the left’s radical climate-change policies that will, if pursued to their desired conclusion, result in a level of global starvation, disease and death unprecedented in recorded history.
Then again, it’s no secret that many top globalist billionaires, from George Soros to Bill Gates, have long openly campaigned for drastically reducing the earth’s population … as a means of improving life for all.

• Democrats regularly accuse Republicans of “fascism,” with Joe Biden in a major speech calling tens of millions of Trump-supporting Republicans “semi-fascists.” In reality, however, the specter of classic fascism— in the sense of totalitarian subjugation of a population by means of an unholy partnership between government and corporate power– is today manifesting in a multitude of ways, including the widespread and nowproven collusion between the Deep State and Big Tech to censor and suppress conservatives.
Understand the utterly fascist dynamic of the permanent ruling class in Washington, D.C. The Constitution explicitly prohibits the federal government from crushing the free speech and free press rights of Americans. So the government resorts instead to “outsourcing”—to the “private businesses” comprising Big Tech—the desired censorship, deplatforming and suppression of free speech and free press that are constitutionally protected. They justify this gross violation of America’s cherished First Amendment rights by labeling all expression with which they disagree—i.e., truth—as “misinformation,” “disinformation,” and a brandnew and highly confusing “1984”-type term, “malinformation” (defined as “truth used to inflict harm.”)
This fascist collaboration between government and corporate power constituted a major component in the rigging of the 2020 presidential election. Evidence of massive Biden family criminality revealed in the contents of Hunter Biden’s infamous “laptop from hell”—which included major corruption on the part of “the big guy” Joe Biden himself—were ruthlessly suppressed by Big Tech in the last couple of weeks before the November 2020 election. Post-election polling of Biden voters revealed that had they known about the damning revelations before they voted, Biden would have lost the election and Donald Trump would have been president for the last three years.
Also on the fascism front, there is the violent, fascist domestic-terror group Antifa, which ironically stands for “anti-fascist,” and which in 2020 Joe Biden bizarrely announced was a nonexistent group, calling it “an idea, not an organization.” In reality, of course, as the world saw during the summer of 2020, Antifa, along with Black Lives Matter, engaged in a fivemonth mega-orgy of violence across America. During this unprecedented rolling riot, they terrorized and ransacked many major U.S. cities, caused over $2 billion in property damage, wounded some 1,200 law enforcement officers and caused the deaths of at least 25 people.
That’s what nonexistent organizations can do in Opposite Land.
In reality, of course, Antifa—the “anti-fascist” group that is just “an idea” according to Biden—is a violent army of genuine fascists who look, talk and act exactly like WWII-era street fascists—masked and dressed in black, carrying out violent criminal attacks on innocent people and businesses. As president, Donald Trump strongly recommended Antifa be officially designated as a terror group.
COMING TO GRIPS WITH THE LAWLESS LEFT
The bottom line of Opposite Land 2024? Left-wing Democrats controlling the nation’s government and culture accuse traditional-values Republicans of being lawless, fascist extremists who embrace violent insurrection to overturn this nation’s lawfully elected constitutional government.
Yet that turns out to be a perfect mirror image of the accusers—and a clear picture of what they are planning for the United States of America.
Remember that the left is fundamentally lawless. Repeat: The left— not traditional liberals, as Dennis Prager likes to point out, but the radical left that is currently dominating America’s government and culture— is literally lawless in its essence. Lawlessness is its core identity.
Diving just a bit deeper, the real reason for this “lawlessness” phenomenon comes into view: Opposition to God and His laws of life in order to play god, to invent their own reality and force everyone else to accept it—that comprises the mind and substance of the lawless left, and always has since the days of Karl Marx. To justify this lawlessness and maintain their illusion of moral superiority over others, leftists have to portray conservatives—i.e. normal people who hold to society’s traditional values derived largely from the Bible—as evil. Which is why Democrat leaders in the U.S. and their allies in the media continually, year after year, compare Donald Trump to Hitler. It’s transparently insane, of course; Hitler murdered 11 million people, Trump murdered zero. Yet they persist because they desper-
ately need their lying, cheating and lawless ways to somehow be counted as just, noble and good.
Consider that Nazi Germany was the one scenario in modern history regarding which most people would agree that lying, cheating and even attempts at assassination were moral in the quest to rid that nation of a true monster of a leader, to end a terrible war and save millions of innocent lives. Therefore, lying, cheating and breaking all the rules, at least in that time and place, were not only moral, but a moral imperative. This is precisely why Democrats persist in the abominable and dangerous practice of defaming the 45th president as another Hitler. They detest rules, and if Trump is Hitler, they can break free of all the moral and legal rules that hold decent civilizations together.
But to pull off their grand rebellion—the left’s secret revolution against God and His will on earth—they have to posit a total inversion of moral reality. Not only does their evil thus become “good,” but good must, of necessity, be seen and condemned as evil.
Taking the long view, in the end God and His goodness and righteousness will ultimately prevail, and all those who stubbornly cling to evil, corruption and deception will meet their just fate.
But in the meantime, good Americans have a lot of work to do. And that work starts with seeing with crystal clarity exactly how those who would steal not just elections— but innocence, souls and entire nations—are operating. ■

IN A RECENT FIRESIDE CHAT —my weekly podcast for PragerU, half of which is dedicated to my taking questions from (mostly) young people around the world—a young man in his 20s asked how he was supposed to figure out who is telling the truth and who isn’t. He was undoubtedly speaking for millions of his peers. Given the opposing positions one encounters on almost every issue, how is one supposed to figure out which position is right, and which one may not only be wrong, but a lie?
In addition to obvious suggestions—such as finding individuals and institutions whom you trust, studying both sides of issues, learning as much as possible and using common sense—I offered what may be the single most important indicator of who is more likely to be lying.
It is not a perfect indicator of who is telling the truth—there is no perfect indicator—but it comes close.
With rare exceptions, the party that calls for censorship is lying. People who tell the truth can deal with dissent and different opinions. In fact, truth-tellers welcome debate.
If this theory is correct—and I cannot imagine a valid argument against it—it means that in virtually every instance of a left-right difference, the left is lying.
There is no important area of left-right difference in which the left—not liberals, the left—does not call for shutting down dissent.
Take the university. Everyone knows how difficult it is for a visiting speaker to offer non-left-wing views on a college campus. Conservative speakers are often either not allowed to appear in the first place, canceled after being invited or shouted down while speaking.
That is an almost perfect indicator that the leftist ideas that dominate campuses are false.
Now let’s take another example, an area that until very recently one might have said is the very home of truth—science, specifically medical science.

The left-wing California State Assembly passed a bill in 2022, signed into law by California’s leftwing governor and approved by the state’s left-wing medical establishment, that any California physician who spreads “medical misinformation” or “disinformation” could lose his or her medical license.
Now, why was this law passed? Was there, for the first time in California history, some outbreak of doctors “misinforming” their patients about medical matters, thereby causing them harm?
Of course not.
The law was passed to stifle all medical dissent on issues related to COVID-19. Even though, under mounting legal pressure, California finally repealed the law in October 2023, while it was in effect, any physicians who suggested that patients in the early stages of COVID-19 might benefit from taking hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin (both along with zinc) could lose their medical licenses. Even if these drugs were completely useless in preventing serious illness

or death in COVID-19 patients—and many reputable doctors around the world believe they are indeed effective—these drugs are among the safest medications in the world. Both are on the World Health Organization’s list of the most essential drugs in the world. There was no scientific or moral justification for threatening the licenses of doctors who prescribed them for COVID-19.
There are, however, two primary explanations for the medical establishment’s ban on doctors prescribing or merely speaking well of these two therapeutics. One is that former President Donald Trump promoted hydroxychloroquine as a potential lifesaver, and if he promoted anything, the left opposed it—even if it could save lives. The other is that if these therapeutics were acknowledged to work, the vaccinations would be rendered largely unnecessary, and Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson would lose a great deal of money. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health and state medical boards essentially work for Big Pharma.
Based on the rule that those who censor are almost always lying, we must come to the frightening conclusion that the American medical establishment has been lying to us. That includes the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the Association of Children’s Hospitals, along with the American Association of Pediatricians. The latter two advocate, almost alone in the world, “affirmative” transgender care, such as puberty blockers in minors and mastectomies on perfectly healthy girls who say they are boys.
In its suppression of scientific dissent, the American medical establishment mimics the medieval church’s treatment of Galileo.
The left—in medicine, Big Tech, the mainstream media and in schools from kindergarten through graduate school—not only censors anyone who denies that “men give birth,” but smears their reputations, labeling them as haters, bigots, “anti-science” and inducers of teen suicide.
Truth is a liberal value, and it is a conservative value. It has never been
a left-wing value. From Vladimir Lenin and the Communist Party to the contemporary university, the left has always suppressed dissent.
And for good reason. If dissent is allowed, the left loses its power.
And the left knows it. Colleges know that one conservative speaker can undo four years of indoctrination in 90 minutes. And the medical establishment knows that a few dissenting physicians can undo its entire credibility.
That was my response to the young person who wanted to know which side is lying: the one that censors and suppresses dissent.

NUMEROUS SPEAKERS AND PANELISTS at the World Economic Forum consistently emphasized the necessity of censoring “misinformation and disinformation” during the Davos conference held Jan. 15 to 19.

Top representatives from government, universities and nonprofits set their sights on this purportedly menacing threat in speeches and discussions throughout the summit. Many pressed for worldwide cooperation on combatting so-called misinformation, and advocated for the enforcement of specific censorship measures to stifle the dissemination of objectionable content online, particularly in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
For instance, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen kicked off her “special address” on Tuesday, Jan. 16 by talking about how threatening “disinformation and misinformation” are to the world order.
“For the global business community, the top concern for the next two years is not conflict or climate, it is disinformation and misinformation, followed closely by polarization within our societies,” von der Leyen said to start her speech.
The EC president was citing the WEF’s recent Global Risks 2024 report, which surveyed more than “1,400 global risks experts, policy-makers and industry leaders” in September 2023 to determine what they perceive to be the most significant global risks in the near future.
“Misinformation and disinformation” topped the list, with “societal polarization” ranking third; the report specifically flagged the risks in relation to the 2024 elections taking place.
“These risks are serious because they limit our ability to tackle the big global challenges we are facing,” von der Leyen continued. “We are once again competing more intensely across countries than we have in several decades. And this makes the theme of this year’s Davos meeting even more relevant. Rebuilding trust … This is a time to drive global collaboration more than ever before.”
EC Vice-President for Values and Transparency Vera Jourová said the EU is making sure individuals receive factual information through mandating censorship at Davos on Thursday, Jan. 18 during a panel on “Defending Truth.”
“Disinformation is a very powerful tool,” Jourová asserted. “[The EU is] focusing on improving of the system where the people will get the facts right. We don’t speak about opinions. We are not correcting anyone’s opinions or language. Yeah? This is about the facts.”
Jourová noted the EU’s “2022 Code of Practice on Disinformation” that compels numerous Big Tech signatories like Google and Meta to counter “disinformation” through measures like “fact-checking” and demonetization. The EC also referred the Daily Caller News Foundation to its European External Action Service’s Strategic Communication Taskforce, which identifies and exposes “disinformation.”
A chief at an international nonprofit providing “support” to news organizations shared insights on a strategy for demonetizing so-called “bad” sources of information at the “Defending Truth” panel with Jourová.
“Disinformation makes money and we need to follow that money and we need to work with, in particular, the global advertising industry,” Internews President and CEO Jeanne Bourgault stated. “A lot of those dollars go to pretty bad content. So you can work really hard on exclusion lists or inclusion lists just to really try to … focus their ad dollars toward the good news and infor-
mation. The accurate and relevant news and information.”
Moreover, Center for Democracy and Technology CEO Alexandra Reeve Givens called on Big Tech to up its online election censorship initiatives at the conference during a panel on “Protecting Democracy against Bots and Plots.”
“We’re in this bizarre environment where right as the threats are ticking up, the investments in actually doing the day-to-day work of online trust and safety for our information environment is being scaled back and is under attack,” Givens stated. “We have to have the social media companies keep up the work.”
Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Twitter—now X—all reduced “trust and safety” personnel in 2023, according to Wired.
“Is there a way to force them to do that?” Foreign Policy magazine Editor-in-Chief Ravi Agrawal asked Givens. “Push them to do that?”
“You get them to places like Davos, and you have them talk about the work,” Givens responded, laughing. “The staffing and decisions of companies, making sure they’re putting in those investments, making sure that they’re sharing information, that they’re doing it not just for the U.S. election but for the other elections … That has to stay a key focus. Even if there is political pressure.”
Givens noted various “interventions” social media platforms have adopted, such as monitoring so-called misinformation and disinformation, asking users if they have read an article before they share it, and fact-checking. She said these are “bare minimum” essentials for 2024.
Givens eventually said legislating
censorship of “misinformation” is “dangerous territory” at the end of the panel discussion and noted the importance of “transparency” about content moderation decisions. The Center for Democracy and Technology pointed this reporter to its content moderation transparency recommendations.
Furthermore, Harvard Professor of the History of Science Naomi Oreskes and President of swissuniversities (the common voice of the various Swiss universities) Luciana Vaccaro disclosed their mutual dislike for billionaire Elon Musk’s X during a Jan. 15 forum on “Liberating Science.”
“For a long time, I was on Twitter and now it’s become such a toxic place that I’ve concluded it’s not a worthwhile place to spend time,” Oreskes stated. “I have given up on X. What a scary name that even is, right?”
“It’s [a] very toxic environment and … I have no solution on that,” Vaccaro responded. “I think there will be a societal reflection on how information is brought there. Of course on X now there is also the policy of the owner that is problematic, but I think this is a problem of the society of the future.”
Under Musk, X has reduced its total worldwide “trust and safety” staff, including employees and contractors, by 30%, from 4,062 to 2,849, according to a recent report by Australia’s eSafety Commission.
A reporter for Rebel News later pressed Oreskes on her X comments, ask-
ing her, “What’s wrong with X?” “Where do I start?” she responded, laughing. “So much disinformation on that channel.”
The reporter asked if X should have more censorship, but Oreskes said she would not respond to that query.
Neither Harvard, Internews, swissuniversities, nor the WEF responded to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment. ■

No, Trump supporters don’t him and think he’s a messiah

ONE OF THE FAKE RED HERRINGS the left likes to pretend about Donald Trump supporters is that they worship him and compare him to Jesus.
The accusation is blasphemous, since there are many verses in the Bible which teach that man shall not put himself on a level with Christ. Of course, the leftists pushing this fake news are generally de facto atheists with little knowledge of the Bible, so they have no idea how ignorant they sound to the rest of us. They use their cluelessness about the Christian religion to justify huge leaps of logic. It’s frankly embarrassing.
The reality is that people come up with clever memes about everything in this social media era. They create memes comparing Trump to Jesus not because they actually think he’s divine, but because they really appreciate how much he did for them as president. Everyone knows this, and to pretend otherwise is silly. People come up with metaphors and analogies all the time, especially in this meme-heavy era.
But the left is doing it deliberately to make Trump supporters look crazy and obsessed with their religion. While left-wing writer Bill Gindlesperger correctly points out, “For real Christians, nothing is more blasphemous than calling Donald Trump the son of God,” he then proceeds to make great leaps to distort Trump supporters’ actions in order to claim they are doing so. In “Public Opinion,” he said Trump supporters “wear MAGA hats like ashes on their foreheads,” “interpret Trump’s speeches as God’s word” and “bow down at the altar of false prophet Trump.” All of this sounds completely silly.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, known for saying provocative things, said during an interview when Trump was arrested, “Trump is joining some of the most incredible people in history being arrested today. Nelson Mandela was arrested, served time in prison. Jesus—Jesus was arrested and murdered by the Roman government.” In order to interpret her remarks
as claiming Trump is a messiah, one would also have to include Mandela as a messiah too.
The establishment media barrages America with fake news articles about it, like “Trump’s Truest Believers Have Made the Former President a Messiah” at The Globe and Mail, and “Christian Trump Supporters Explicitly Compare Him to Jesus as Indictments Loom” in Raw Story. In the latter article, progressive writer Brad Reed uses a lawyer’s tweet as an example: Joseph McBride tweeted, “Jesus loves Donald Trump. Jesus Died for Donald Trump. Jesus lives inside Donald Trump. Deal with it.”
Much of this perception has caught on among the public due to the media and entertainment creating a false perception. A few months ago, “Saturday Night Live” produced a skit where Trump attended the Last Supper and compared himself to Jesus. There is a known SNL effect, whereby people begin to
believe that what happened in those skits is real. To this day, many people believe Sarah Palin said she can see Russia from her home in Alaska, when in reality an SNL comedy skit portrayed her saying that. Palin actually said it’s possible to see Russia from parts of Alaska, which is correct; from one island in Alaska it’s possible to see an island in Russia.
I tweeted about this, asking my followers to respond if they believe Trump is a messiah, since I’ve never heard one person actually say this. Over 3,000 people saw my tweet, many responded, and none of them said they believe Trump is a messiah (other than one person whose response clearly wasn’t serious). A troll responded with a link to a YouTube video of one apparent Trump supporter making the assertion, but then, the same guy also said, “Even Jesus dated a hooker,” which is obviously false. Jesus never dated anyone.
None of this compares to the idolatry that took place after Barack Obama became president. And it wasn’t just obscure people drooling: Left-wing commentator Chris Matthews admitted, “I felt this thrill going up my leg” when he heard Obama speak. Matthews cried over an Obama speech and compared him to Jesus: “This is bigger than Kennedy,” he said. “[Obama] comes along, and he seems to have the answers. This is the New Testament.”
Comedian and actor Jamie Foxx said during the Soul Train Awards in 2012 to “first of all (give) honor to God, and our Lord and Savior Barack Obama.” Newsweek declared on a cover in 2010 that Obama was “God of All Things,” shortly after Newsweek editor Evan Thomas declared that Obama is “sort of God.”
The left-wing magazine Slate started a series of articles in 2007 called “The Obama Messiah Watch,” with the description: “Introducing a periodic feature considering evidence that Obama is the son of God.” A Common Core lesson portrayed Obama as a messiah. “The Truth” painting depicted Obama
with a crown of thorns.
And who can forget all the Obama worshippers fainting during his rallies? Obama bragged, “Folks do this all the time at my meetings.”
Notice that none of these critics with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) ever bring up the excessive idolatry of Obama that occurred. They pick and choose what kind of history is relevant—which amounts to Orwellian whitewashing. ■

As usual, the truth is 180 degrees opposite to what progressive academics and politicians claim
Editor’s note: For decades, the Democratic Party has continually defamed Republicans as either sympathetic toward, or historically akin to, fascists, Nazis, white supremacists and slaveholders. But as bestselling author and documentary filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza documents here, the truth is precisely 180 degrees opposite from the left’s deceptive narrative.
The following is excerpted from “The Big Lie: Exposing The Nazi Roots of the American Left” by Dinesh D’Souza.
TO HEAR THE LEFT TELL IT, Donald Trump is a fascist if not actually a Nazi. “I feel Hitler in these streets,” actress Ashley Judd chanted around his 2017 inauguration. Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns terms Trump “Hitleresque.” Columnist Andrew Sullivan terms the GOP today a “neo-fascist party.” And MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says, “I’ve been reading a lot about what it was when Hitler first became chancellor … because I think that’s possibly where we are.”
The charge that Trump and the right are fascists and neo-Nazis is used to establish Trump as an illegitimate president, the GOP as a party in cahoots with him, and to justify getting rid of both “by any means necessary,” which is actually the name of one of the many so-called antifascist groups. The media barrage against Trump, the street violence of Antifa and other groups, are all based on the premise that the left is fighting a modern incarnation of the Hitler movement of the 1930s.
I agree that there is a fascist strain in American politics today, but who are the real fascists?
Is fascism a phenomenon of the left or the right? This question is rarely asked in a serious way, and I want to give credit to two worthy predecessors who have begun to plough this ground. The first is the economist Friedrich Hayek, whose “The Road to Serfdom,” first published in 1944, made the startling claim that Western welfare state democracies, having defeated fascism, were moving inexorably in the fascist direction.
Hayek identified fascism as a phenomenon of the left, a cousin of socialism and progressivism. And he warned, “The rise of fascism and Nazism was not a reaction against the socialist trends of the preceding period but a necessary outcome of those tendencies.” While Hayek’s book was written in a pedantic, measured tone, appealing to progressives to learn from one who had witnessed firsthand the rise of fascism in Europe, progressive scholars immediately set about reviling Hayek, with one, Herman Finer, accusing him of displaying a “thoroughly Hitlerian contempt for the democratic man.”
If you spotted, in this reaction, the familiar progressive ploy of seizing the Hitler card and playing it right back against Hayek, then you are beginning to see the big lie at work. Here is Hayek making a case for how progressives are moving in the direction of Hitler, and without answering this charge and with no supporting evidence whatever, the left turns around and accuses Hayek of being like Hitler.
Jonah Goldberg received pretty much the same treatment for his important book, “Liberal Fascism.” Goldberg argues, “What we call liberalism—the refurbished edifice of American progressivism—is in fact a descendant of and manifestation of fascism.” Goldberg argues that fascism and communism, far from being opposites, are “closely related historical competitors for the same constituents.” Goldberg terms progressivism a “sister movement of fascism” no less than Communism, displaying a “family resemblance that few will admit to recognizing.” Goldberg traces innumerable links between progressivism and
fascism, spelling out the left-wing laundry list in the platforms of both Mussolini and Hitler, and then showing their parallel in modern American progressivism. Goldberg uses a broad brush, even detecting an odor of fascism in modern progressive environmentalism, vegetarianism, holistic medicine and child care policies. Even though he occasionally overdoes his fascist comparisons, his book is well worth reading for its originality and comprehensiveness. Once again the left set upon Goldberg with a vengeance, charging him with being, of all things, a fascist.
Hayek and Goldberg are my starting point. But I go much further and delve into areas of inquiry completely untouched by them. Hayek, for example, asserted that fascism and Nazism emerged out of the left, but he never showed how this occurred. Drawing on the work of scholars like A. James Gregor, Renzo de Felice and Zeev Sternhell, I tell the riveting story of how fascism and Nazism both emerged out of a debate within socialism. The problem began when the central prophecies of Marxism failed to occur. This created a massive crisis within the left, and essentially Marxism split into two camps: the first became Leninism and Bolshevism, and the other became fascism and Nazism.
Goldberg associates the American left with fascism, but he does not dare to make an equivalent link with Nazism, probably because he doesn’t want to risk associating the left with genocide and concentration camps. This is where my book actually takes off. As Goldberg well knows, fascism and Nazism are two different things. Hitler virtually never referred to himself as a fascist, and Mussolini never ever called himself a Nazi or a National Socialist. I intend to show that there are deep and profound connections not just between the left and fascism but also between the left and Nazism.
In some ways, the progressive Democrats are even closer to the German Nazis than to the Italian fascists. The Italian fascists, for example, were much less racist than the Democratic Party in the United States. There are no parallels for the costumed racial terrorism of the Democratic Party-backed Ku Klux Klan in Italy, although one can find such parallels in Nazi Germany. Democratic policies of white supremacy, racial segregation and statesponsored discrimination were also completely alien to Italian fascism, but right at home in the Third Reich.
Here, for instance, is a passage from Robert Paxton’s “The Anatomy of Fascism.” “It may be that the earliest phenomenon that can be functionally related to fascism is American: the Ku Klux Klan.” Long before the Nazis, Paxton points out, the Klan adopted its racial uniform of robes and hoods and engaged in the type of intimidation and violence that offered “a remarkable preview of the way fascist movements were to function in interwar Europe.” If this seems like a surprising concession by a progressive, Paxton protects his political side by omitting any mention that during this period the Ku Klux Klan was the domestic terrorist arm of the Democratic Party.
Notice that as with the racial terrorism of the Klan, the racism of the Democratic Party in America long preceded the racism of the Nazis. Moreover, Nazi racism lasted for 12 years while Democratic racism lasted for well over a century. Democratic racism was preceded by the Democrat-run slave plan-
tation and Democratic policies for the relocation and extermination of American Indians. We think of concepts like “genocide” and “concentration camps” as unique to Nazism, but what term other than genocide can we use to describe Democratic President Andrew Jackson’s mass relocation of the Indians? Didn’t Jackson and his allies systematically seek to dispossess, disinherit and dismember the Indians as a people? Using the official United Nations definition of genocide, it’s obvious that he did.
Moreover, what is the slave plantation if not a special type of concentration camp? This may seem like an outrageous analogy. How can anyone compare a forced labor system, however unjust, to Nazi camps designed and used to kill people? But as we will see, the concentration camps were also work camps. In the German camps and on the Democrat-run plantations, forced labor was employed with “human tools” solely with regard to productivity and with little if any regard for the lives of the workers who were, in both cases, regarded as inferior and even subhuman. The analogy between the two worst compulsory confinement and forced labor systems in human history is not merely legitimate; it is overdue.
Moreover, this whole issue has been raised to a completely new level since the publication of historian Stanley Elkins’ path-breaking book, “Slavery.” Elkins not only drew an elaborate comparison of the plantation as a “closed system” akin to a concentration camp, he also showed that slavery produced personality types eerily similar to those
described by Nazi camp survivors. So the point is that even on some of the institutions and practices uniquely associated with the Nazis—from genocide to the concentration camp—the Democrats in a sense got there first.
In this book, I will show what the left learned from the Nazis, and also what the left taught the Nazis. It turns out that the left provided the Nazis with some very important policy schemes that the Nazis then murderously implemented in Europe. Hitler, for instance, specifically said he intended to displace and exterminate the Russians, the Poles and the Slavs in precisely the way Americans in the Jacksonian era had displaced and exterminated the native Indians. The Nazi Nuremberg laws were directly modeled on the segregation and anti-miscegenation laws that had been implemented decades earlier in the Democratic South.
Forced sterilization and euthanasia aimed at eliminating racial “defectives” and producing a “superior” Nordic race were two additional schemes the Nazis got from American progressives. This is not my view of the matter; it is the Nazi eugenicists’ view of the matter. In the early twentieth century, eugenics and social Darwinism were far more prevalent in America than they were in Germany. [Planned Parenthood founder] Margaret Sanger and her fellow progressive eugenicists didn’t get their ideas for killing off undesirables—or preventing their births—from the Nazis; the Nazis got them from their American counterparts who dominated the field of international eugenics. So there is a two-way traffic between Nazism and the American left.
This is a story that deeply implicates the heroes of American progressivism: Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy. Wilson was a veritable progenitor of American fascism. One may say of him that he was fascist even before fascism became cool. In addition, he was a racist who was almost single-handedly responsible for the revival of the Ku Klux Klan, the organization that according to historian Robert Paxton is the closest American precursor to a Nazi movement.
Franklin Roosevelt was an avid admirer of Mussolini and one who closely collaborated with the worst racist elements in America, working with them to block anti-lynching laws and exclude blacks from New Deal programs and naming a former Klansman to the Supreme Court.
Mussolini, for his part, praised FDR’s book “Looking Forward” and basically declared FDR to be a fellow fascist. Hitler too saw FDR as a kindred spirit and the New Deal was widely praised as an American form of fascism in the Nazi Party’s official newspaper Volkischer Beobachter and other Nazi publications.
JFK toured Nazi Germany in the 1930s and came back effusive with praise of Hitler and his theory of Nordic superiority. “I have come to the conclusion,” JFK wrote in his diary, “that fascism is right for Germany and Italy.” Touring the Rhineland, JFK echoed Nazi propaganda at the time. “The Nordic races appear to be definitely superior to the Romans.” Hostility to Hitler, JFK insisted, stems largely from jealousy. “The Germans really are too good—that’s why people conspire against them.” Even though JFK fought in World War II, he retained a soft spot for Hitler as late as 1945, when he described him as the “stuff of legends…Hitler will emerge from the hate that
now surrounds him and come to be regarded as one of the most significant figures to have lived.”
These facts are known to many progressive scholars. But after World War II, as this group came increasingly to dominate the academy— a dominance that was fully consolidated by the late sixties—the progressives recognized how crushing it would be if Americans knew about the actual record of progressivism and the Democratic Party. What if people, especially young people, knew the links between revered progressive figures like Wilson, FDR and JFK on the one hand, and the hated Mussolini and Hitler on the other? Such knowledge would not merely topple progressive heroes from their pedestal. Basically it would be the end of progressivism and the Democratic Party.
So progressives decided to tell a new story, and this is the story that has now become our conventional wisdom. In this story, the very fascism and Nazism that were, on both sides of the Atlantic, recognized as left-wing phenomena from the outset now got moved into the right-wing column. Suddenly Mussolini and Hitler became “right wingers” and the people who supposedly brought them to power became “conservatives.” The left, then, became the glorious resisters of fascism and Nazism.
To make this story work, fascism and Nazism had to be largely redefined. The big problem was that Mussolini and Hitler both identified socialism as the core of the fascist and Nazi weltanshauung. Mussolini was the leading figure of Italian revolutionary socialism and never relinquished his allegiance to it.
Hitler’s party defined itself as championing “national socialism.” So the progressives had to figure out how to move these avowed left-wingers to the right, and how to get the “socialism” out of “national socialism.” This was not an easy task.
How to do it? Taking a cue from the Marxists, the left figured out as early as the 1960s that it had to suppress altogether the fact that fascism and Nazism were systems of thought. According to the left-wing historian Denis Mack Smith, “Italian fascism originated not as a doctrine but as a method, as a technique for winning power, and at first its principles were unclear even to its own members.” Historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat, who is extensively quoted in the media linking Trump to fascism, insists nevertheless that fascism is “one of those words that is very hard to define precisely” because “fascism was all about contradictions, and this kind of ambiguity has remained in fascism.”
In reality, such nonsense can only be sustained by refusing to take seriously the fascists themselves. As historian A. James Gregor writes, “Under the crabbed influence of the Marxist analysis of fascism, fascist statements are never analyzed as such. They are always ‘interpreted.’ Fascists are never understood to mean what they say. As a consequence, there has been very little effort, to date, to provide a serious account of fascism as an ideology.” Instead the left identified fascism with amorphous tendencies that could just as easily be applied to numerous other political doctrines: authoritarianism, militarism, nationalism and so on.
Think about this: We know the name of the philosopher of capitalism, Adam Smith. We also know the name of the philosopher of Marxism, Karl Marx. So, quick, what is the name of the philosopher of fascism? Yes, exactly. You don’t know. Virtually no one knows. My point is that this is not because there were no foundational thinkers behind fascism—there were several—but rather that the left had to get rid of them in order to avoid confronting their unavoidable socialist and leftist orientation. This is the big lie in full operation.
If statism and collectivism are at the core of fascism, National Socialism adds another explosive ingredient—anti-Semitism. This much is well known. What the progressives have carefully disguised, however, is the degree to which Nazi anti-Semitism grew out of Nazi hatred for capitalism. Hitler draws a crucial distinction between productive capitalism, which he can abide, and finance capitalism, which he associates with the Jews. For Hitler, the Jew is the unproductive money-grubber at the center of finance capitalism, the entrepreneurial swindler par excellence.
This hardly sounds “right wing”; in fact, with some slight modification, it echoes progressive rhetoric about greedy Wall Street investment bankers. Thus progressives realized the necessity of hiding the true basis of Hitler’s anti-Semitism, and to do this, anti-Semitism itself had to be redefined.
As you can see, we are dealing with a big, big lie—a lie that keeps getting bigger, and one that encompasses many smaller lies. We need to understand the big lie in all its dimensions in order to be free of it. Once we are free of it, the left is finished. Their power over us is gone. They had the race card and now they have the Nazi card, but they have no other cards left.
If they lose this one, they lose their moral capital and are exposed for what they are—the bigoted, thuggish, self-aggrandizing thieves of our lives and liberties. They are the true descendants of Mussolini and Hitler, and in defeating them we can finally lay to rest the ghosts of fascism and Nazism. ■

ONE OF THE BIGGEST OF THE “BIG LIES” spread in recent years has been the seemingly never-ending “Trump-Russia collusion” drama.
But setting aside all the deceit, demagoguery and mass hysteria associated with the left’s years-long campaign to overturn Donald Trump’s 2016 election by accusing him of “colluding with the Russians,” consider the scandal’s most scandalous part of all:
For the past 100 years, it has been the left that has been continually “colluding with the Russians.”
For something like three generations, this nation’s most vital institutions, from higher education to Hollywood, have been powerfully influenced, if not entirely dominated, by the Marxist-socialist worldview incubated, nurtured, celebrated, propagandized and exported primarily by Russia.
Today’s Democratic Party, pushed radically leftward by President Barack Obama, has become almost indistinguishable from the Communist Party USA. In case you didn’t know, the CPUSA came into existence as a U.S.-based, Moscow-controlled-and-funded communist party, but has lost most of its influence and support since the Soviet Union collapsed, thanks to President Ronald Reagan. Today, the CPUSA no longer fields its own presidential candidates, but rather, urges voters to support Democrats.
If you think this comparison of the Democratic Party with the Communist Party USA is hyperbolic, I suggest you just stop reading right now and pull up the CPUSA’s website. Spend some time reading and digesting it. Try to dis-
cern any major differences between the Moscow-inspired-and-funded Communist Party USA’s concerns, sensibilities and solutions—on issues from transgender rights, to unfettered immigration, to renewable energy, to wealth redistribution, to condemning cops as racist, to universal health care—and those of today’s Democratic Party.

And who can forget President Barack Obama being caught on a hot mic saying to Russian President Medvedev, “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.” (Translation: After I’m re-elected president, I can do things Putin wants, but that the American people would never approve.) To which comrade Medvedev replied, “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir, and I stand with you.”
Then of course, during the 2016 presidential primaries there was Bernie Sanders, the “aging hippie communist” (as the late Rush Limbaugh called him) who honeymooned with his bride in the Soviet Union, yet who might arguably have won the Democratic presidential nomination had the Democratic National Committee not scandalously rigged the primary contest for Hillary Clinton.
Putting aside the defamatory “collusion” allegation against Trump, as well as all the wild-eyed leftwing incantations that Russia “hacked our democracy”—a mysterious accusation no one can define because it doesn’t actually mean anything—you may reasonably wonder what to think about the broader and more basic charge that Russia tried to influence the 2016 American election. After all, Robert Mueller indicted a dozen Russian military intelligence agents for exactly that.
Reality check: Everyone even modestly aware of modern geopolitical history knows Russia has been attempting to influence America and her elec-
tions for decades. In fact, most powerful nations, including the United States of America, attempt to influence other nations’ politics, government and elections. It’s called foreign policy.
Barack Obama, in his zeal to influence the outcome of Israel’s 2015 national election, actually spent American taxpayers’ money on a failed attempt to defeat a sitting prime minister and close ally, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Even worse, during Reagan’s first term as president, Democratic Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy made secret overtures to the Soviet Union to thwart Reagan’s re-election! Yes, this actually happened!
When I reached out to Reagan biographer and Russia scholar Paul
Kengor on this astonishing episode, he nailed the details—and the media’s stunning hypocrisy.
“Democrats are searching desperately, frantically, hysterically, for any tangible proof that Trump or one of his aides or associates was reaching out to the Russians to influence the 2016 election,” Kengor, a political science professor at Grove City College, told me. “Well, the May 1983 KGB document between Victor Chebrikov (head of the KGB at the time) and Yuri Andropov (head of the U.S.S.R. at the time) details an offer from Ted Kennedy to help the Russians prior to Ronald Reagan’s 1984 election campaign.” Kennedy’s purpose? Prevent Reagan’s re-election.
“It’s an actual official Soviet document,” Kengor told me, “one that was housed in the Central Committee archives until it was discovered after the Cold War in 1992. I first published the document in full in my 2006 book on Ronald Reagan, “The Crusader.” (See the original Soviet document memorializing Sen. But wait, weren’t the “mainstream media” alarmed once they found out that a United States senator had attempted to subvert the reelection of a sitting U.S. president by “colluding with the Russians”?
Of course not. As Kengor told me: “That entire time, Ted Kennedy was alive and could have been questioned about this. But the fact is that the Democrats and the liberals in the media didn’t give a damn.
“Why? Because Ted Kennedy was one of their darlings. They had no interest or intention in exposing any possible Ted Kennedy dealings or— worse—potential collaboration or collusion with the Russians. They could give a rip. But now, in the Trump era, the Democrats and liberals are suddenly Russia hawks.”
Repeat: The extreme anti-Russia fervor of virtually all of today’s Democrat leaders is just a smokescreen.
In reality, the history of the American left is literally a history of “Russian collusion,” from the major infiltration of Soviet agents into the U.S. government during the Roosevelt and Truman administrations, to Julius and Ethel Rosenberg giving America’s top secret atomic weapons designs to the Soviets (at the time, only the U.S. had nuclear weapons), to the pivotal role Soviet disinformation played in turning American public opinion—and ultimately Congress—against the Vietnam War. From the subversion of America’s entertainment industry (there were close to 600 communists just among the Hollywood elite when Reagan stood up to them as head of the Screen Actors Guild) to the awarding of New York Times’ Moscow bureau chief Walter Duranty a Pulitzer Prize for covering up Stalin’s genocidal starvation of 7 million people in Ukraine. From the creation of dozens of communist-front “antiwar” and other groups active in the U.S., to even the infiltration of major Christian churches by the KGB.
Interestingly, as the late Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa—the highest-ranking defector from the Soviet Union during the entire Cold War, and co-author of the epic book “Disinformation”—told me several years ago: “In 2009, the U.S. got its first Marxist president, and in March 2013, the CIA got a director,
John O. Brennan, who had voted the Communist ticket.” (That’s right. In the 1976 U.S. presidential election, Brennan voted for Communist Party USA candidate Gus Hall.)
So, what did Pacepa, one of the world’s top experts on genuine “Russian collusion,” think about the leftist Democrats and “mainstream media” daily attacking President Donald Trump for alleged “Russian collusion”?
The left, he said, specializes in fabricating fake news, history and reality, and always has. He recalled, thoughtfully: “In my other life as a Soviet bloc intelligence general, I had a banner posted in my DIE [Romania’s foreign intelligence service] office proclaiming in uppercase letters: ‘CAPITALIST ESPIONAGE REPORTS HISTORY. WE MAKE IT.’ Communist espionage was not designed to predict enemy intentions, as Western espionage services do. Our omniscient rulers knew best,” he said, indicating that communists prefer to rewrite and reinvent history, something the American left is notorious for doing. And never more ferociously than right now.
America’s ideals, rooted in liberty, constitutionally limited government, Christian morality, the work ethic, and unlimited freedom and opportunity, birthed the most prodigiously successful, powerful, generous and noble nation in history. But somehow, the socialist-communist dreams of communist Russia have mesmerized American leftist politicians, intellectuals, celebrities and activists for generations, metastasizing throughout the nation. All of this the result of a hundred years of the American left “colluding,” on
one level or another, “with the Russians.”
It’s doubtful any more irony and absurdity could fit into this story without it bursting at the seams, but just consider, as a postscript, that Russia is no longer communist. Remember, as an economic system Marxism/socialism doesn’t actually work, and eventually breaks down because it so profoundly and totally violates human nature, the laws of economics and the lessons of history. It always fails. Just ask oil-rich Venezuela.
Maybe the hardcore left is angrily turning on Russia now because the motherland broke faith with their shared socialist dream. That must hurt. But America’s leftists could at least find solace in the knowledge that the glorious Union of Soviet Socialist Republics didn’t give up on socialism willingly. It died because socialism has always been dead; its “life” is just an illusion, a seduction, a con game, a temporary something-for-nothing charade, a promise of one thing that delivers another—namely totalitarianism. It’s a living death at best. Even the Russians know this now.
Only the American left, which has spent a century lusting over a socialist utopia that can never be, still craves it.
In the meantime, the same left that demonizes America and capitalism with arguments it learned at the feet of Russian communists, accuses pro-
American capitalist Donald Trump of “colluding with the Russians.” That’s irony for you. ■

AMERICANS NOW REPORT A SIGNIFICANT DECLINE in patriotism, according the recent survey by the National Opinion Research Center and the Wall Street Journal. Faith in God also dropped from 48% to 39% in the span of four years. Likewise, the desire to start a family plummeted from 43% to 30%. Needless to say, such numbers spell the end of America as we know it.
The Telegraph, writing about the startling decline in faith in traditional values, refers to it partially as an effect of the COVID-19 horror story. But the current deterioration of faith in God, persecution of conservatives and suppression of their free speech has long been the communist goal. To kill the belief in the supernatural realm and destroy the knowledge about the Almighty’s advice for living the best possible life, as found in the Bible, has been the aim for atheist Marxists for generations.
Especially fierce has been the radical strategy of the neo-Marxists, who set their goal after World War II to destroy the very values that made the West such a vibrantly successful civilization. They felt that the total freedom they desired was suppressed in the traditional West, and began diligently working to change Western ideology in order to destroy genuine freedom and liberty as defined by the Christian principles reflected in the U.S. Constitution.
For example: German neo-Marxist Herbert Marcuse, often referred to as the father of the student revolutions in the 1960s, developed the concept of how to suppress conservative speech in the public sphere. Marcuse taught at Columbia University, Harvard and the University of California, San Diego, fiercely infusing the Marxist revolt against God and traditional values into his students. The idea was that a new definition of freedom and liberty would come into being, replacing the original, biblically based versions of these ideals.
In his notorious article, “Repressive tolerance,” Marcuse advocated for
the need to create a system that oppressed the opinions of the conservative, traditional majority. He suggested that “the practice of discriminating tolerance, shifting the balance between Right and Left by restraining the liberty of the Right,” was the method that would turn the tables for the Marxists and put their religion-hating agenda in society’s forefront. The Marxists were cunningly defined as “the oppressed,” while the unified, patriotic, God-fearing Americans were defined as “the oppressors.” This deceptive strategy has worked almost to perfection.
The suppression of speech and assembly on the part of certain groups who disagreed with the Marxists was supposed to silence opposition. Saul Alinsky, who wrote “Rules for Radicals,” one of the Left’s most popular ideological warfare manuals, prescribes “ridicule as a man’s most potent weapon. It is
almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.” He suggested, “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it” as a strategy to force opponents of the Marxist agenda into submission.
Author James Simpson points out in “Who was Karl Marx?” that this strategy has been so effective that politicians of other parties often quiet down and fear speaking to avoid criticism, threats or the above-mentioned ridicule. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi summed this strategy up as she explained on camera how Democrats smear their opponents with falsehoods and lies: “You demonize, it is called the ‘Wrap Up Smear.’ You smear somebody with falsehoods and all the rest. Then you merchandize it, you [addressing reporters] write it and say, ‘It is reported in the press’ this and this, so you have the validation that the press reported the smear. That’s what’s called a ‘Wrap Up Smear.’ So, we merchandize what the press has reported on the smear that we made. It is a tactic.”
Pelosi is among the long line of Americans who fell for the neo-Marxist deception and, to use Vladimir Lenin’s often attributed term, have become very “useful idiots.”
To the leading communists, the total annihilation of traditional values has long been of utmost importance in order to fully implement atheistic communism. For example, Georgi Lukacs, an influential communist in the early 1900s, advocated the encouragement of free sex as a weapon of moral corruption, whereby explicit how-to instructions were to be given to children, urging them to disown Christian morality. The demonization of Christianity combined with the abandonment of marriage in favor of sexual lawlessness was his prescribed method of destroying the very cultural fabric and stability of the West.

COVID vaccine: 1 ‘big reportedly killed
Study links shots, which leaders swore were safe and effective, to 17 million ‘vaccine
A NEW STUDY shockingly has linked the mRNA COVID-19 shots that experts insisted were both “safe and effective”—the longtime dual requirement of the Food and Drug Administration—to millions of deaths.
The 2023 study by the Canada-based research firm, “Correlation: Research in the Public Interest,” is titled “COVID-19 vaccine-associated mortality in the Southern Hemisphere” and looks at 17 equatorial and Southern-Hemisphere countries, including Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Malaysia, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Suriname, Thailand and Uruguay.
“In the 17 countries, there is no evidence in all-cause mortality (ACM) by time data of any beneficial effect of COVID-19 vaccines,” the stunning results found. “There is no association in time between COVID-19 vaccination and any proportionate reduction in ACM. The opposite occurs.”
The COVID shots, mostly mRNA-based injections that actually are not vaccines, but rather are DNA therapies, were fabricated in a rush to respond to COVID-19, and governments, corporations and organizations demanded people around the world be injected.
The reported side effects have long raised serious questions, including sudden heart failure in relatively young people, and other equally threatening effects.
Drilling down to specifics, the study states, in part: “The all-ages vaccinedose fatality rate (vDFR), which is the ratio of inferred vaccine-induced deaths to vaccine doses delivered in a population, is quantified for the JanuaryFebruary 2022 ACM peak to fall in the range 0.02 % (New Zealand) to 0.20 % (Uruguay). In Chile and Peru, the vDFR increases exponentially with age (doubling approximately every 4 years of age), and is largest for the latest booster doses, reaching approximately 5 % in the 90+ years age groups (1 death per 20 injections of dose 4). Comparable results occur for the Northern Hemisphere, as found in previous articles (India, Israel, USA). We quantify the overall allages vDFR for the 17 countries to be (0.126 ± 0.004) %, which would imply 17.0 ± 0.5 million COVID-19 vaccine deaths worldwide, from 13.50 billion injections
up to 2 September 2023.”
The study described the whole mandated-vaccine era as a “mass iatrogenic event that killed (0.213 ± 0.006) % of the world population (1 death per 470 living persons, in less than 3 years), and did not measurably prevent any deaths.”
According to the accompanying report:
All 17 countries have transitions to regimes of high ACM [allcause mortality], which occur when the COVID-19 vaccines are deployed and administered. Nine of the 17 countries have no detectable excess ACM in the period of approximately one year after a pandemic was declared on 11 March 2020 by the World Health Organization (WHO), until the vaccines are rolled out (Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Paraguay, Philippines, Singapore, Suriname, Thailand, Uruguay).
Unprecedented peaks in ACM occur in the summer (JanuaryFebruary) of 2022 in the Southern Hemisphere, and in equatorial-latitude countries, which
are synchronous with or immediately preceded by rapid COVID-19-vaccinebooster-dose rollouts (3rd or 4th doses). This phenomenon is present in every case with sufficient mortality data (15 countries). Two of the countries studied have insufficient mortality data in January-February 2022 (Argentina and Suriname). Detailed mortality and vaccination data for Chile and Peru allow resolution by age and by dose number. It is unlikely that the observed peaks in all-cause mortality in January-February 2022 (and additionally in: JulyAugust 2021, Chile; July-August 2022, Peru), in each of both countries and in each elderly age group, could be due to any cause other than the temporally associated rapid COVID-19-vaccine-booster-dose rollouts.
A report at Slay News summarized the study as confirming “one death per 800 injections across all ages and countries. In other words, of the 13.25 billion injections delivered up until September 2, 2023, 17 million died from vaccine-related deaths.”
Other key findings include that in the countries included in the analysis, all-cause mortality increased when COVID-19 vaccines were deployed and nine of the 17 “had no detectable excess deaths following the World Health Organization’s March 11, 2020, declaration of the pandemic until the beginning of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign.”
Also, surges in deaths coincided with, or followed, the rollout of boosters in 15 of 17 countries studied.
The researchers pointed out that all-cause mortality should actually have decreased if the vaccines worked as advertised by Big Pharma and world governments.
“If vaccines prevented transmission, infection or serious illness,” they concluded, “then there should be decreases in mortality following vaccine rollouts, not increases, as in every observed elderly age group subjected to rapid booster rollouts. And, mortality would not increase solely when vaccines are rolled out, where no excess mortality occurs before vaccine rollouts, as we have documented here, in nine countries across three continents.”
Denis Rancourt, co-director of the Correlation: Research in the Public Interest, told The Epoch Times that the study suggested there was no evidence the vaccines actually saved lives at all.
“There is no evidence in the hard data of all-cause mortality of a beneficial effect from the COVID-19 vaccine rollouts,” Rancourt said.
“On the contrary, the evidence can be understood in terms of being subjected to a toxic substance.” He added, “The risk of death per injection increases exponentially with age.” ■

WHY THE LEFT
Explaining ‘progressivism’s’ radical rebellion against
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND what is happening to America—and to the rest of the West—without understanding the most dynamic ideology of the last hundred years: Leftism.
We need to begin with the understanding that leftism (or “progressivism”) and liberalism are not only not the same ideologies; they are in fact opposed to each other on virtually every major issue.
Leftism and liberalism have only two things in common:
One is belief in big government, which, given that individual and societal liberty decline as the state grows, is a significant similarity.
The other Left-liberal commonality is antipathy to the Right. This is even more important than commitment to big government because it explains why liberals vote for the Left despite the fact that liberals differ with far more left-wing positions than with conservative positions.
Unlike the Left, most liberals love their country. Unlike the Left, most liberals do not believe that there are more than two sexes/genders; that prepubescent boys and girls who claim they are members of the other sex should be given hormone blockers; that teenaged girls should be allowed to have their breasts surgically removed; or that men who say they are women should be allowed to compete in women’s sports. So, too, liberals do not believe that capitalism is evil, that America is systemically racist, that all whites are racist, that Israel is the villain in the Middle East and Zionism is racist.
So, then, given that those leftist positions are as destructive as they are absurd, how are we to explain Leftism?
This question has preoccupied me all my adult life. It is why I was one of fewer than 10 graduate students in all of Columbia University to major in what was called “Communist Affairs.” (I was a fellow at the Russian Institute at Columbia’s School of International Affairs.) In other words, I have studied the Left all my life.
Early on, I recognized that the Left opposes liberty—the clearest example being that wherever the Left gains power, whether at a university or
in society as a whole, it suppresses free speech—and that it destroys everything it touches. But while I (and many others) have always understood that the Left (again, not liberalism) has always, everywhere, been a force for evil, I needed to understand why.
How can people believe that men give birth? That a country to which more than 4 million black people have emigrated and which twice elected a black president is systemically racist? That the freest country in the Middle East, one in which millions of Arabs live as equal citizens, is the villain, while its barbaric enemies are worthy of support?
Here are some answers:
Throughout their history, Americans have had three great providers of meaning: family, religion and patriotism. Leftists lack the latter two (indeed, they seek to get rid of them), and increasing numbers of them lack the first. Since human beings cannot live without meaning— it is as great a need as food, and even greater than sex—they seek meaning elsewhere. So they create new
meanings through creating secular religions: socialism, communism, feminism, environmentalism, DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), “anti-racism,” anti-Zionism, LGBTQIA+ pride and trans activism, among others.
All these are united by one overarching aim: destroying the institutions of Western civilization (e.g., religion, art, music, the nuclear family, moral norms, schools and universities, free speech, capitalism, even medicine).
Those of us who appreciate Western civilization and wish to preserve it (while, of course, correcting its flaws) cannot understand why anyone would want to destroy it. That is a major reason it is so difficult for non-leftists to understand the Left.
After decades of mulling this over, I think I have discovered one answer that is not obvious even to all leftists.
What opened my eyes are the Left’s beliefs that men can become women and women can become men; men give birth; there are more than two genders/ sexes; men who say they are women should be placed in women’s prisons, women’s colleges and women’s shelters; men who say they are women should be allowed to compete in women’s sports; and children should be taken to drag queen shows.
All these positions represent ... chaos.
The Left’s trans-positions are the most obvious areas of Left-induced chaos, but there are many others. These include the Left’s contempt for the ideal of the nuclear family (i.e., a married mother and father and children); its support for defunding police; its raising the dollar value of stolen goods that qualifies as a felony, which can only incentivize theft; and its support for progressive district attorneys.
And why does leftism seek chaos? Because the Left hates the opposite of chaos: order. And order ultimately represents a religious view of life. Order represents divine order. The proof is that no religious people say, “Men give birth.” Not all secular people believe that men give birth, that there are
more than two sexes, that men can compete in women’s sports, that children should be exposed to drag queen shows, or that children should be given hormone blockers if they claim to be a member of the other sex. But only secular people believe those things. Virtually no one who believes in the Bible and the God of the Bible believes them. We believe in a God-created social order.
Chaos is the normal state of the world. The second verse of the Bible states that the world was in a chaotic state. God then made order. Which is why the Left is undoing it. ■

IN THE EARLY MONTHS of Barack Obama’s first term as president of the United States, the Department of Homeland Security produced a report warning about the threat of homegrown, radicalized, militant and potentially violent extremists.
Who were these scary people?
If you were pro-life, your car had an NRA bumper sticker, you were concerned about illegal immigration or government debt, or especially if you were a returning military veteran—just home after having defended America with your very life—you were potentially a dangerous “extremist” and threat to the country, according to the Obama administration.
Here’s how retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North responded, in a column headlined “I am an extremist”:
According to the U.S. government, I am an extremist.
I am a Christian and meet regularly with other Christians to study God’s word. My faith convinces me the prophecies in the Holy Bible are true. I believe in the sanctity of human life, oppose abortion and want to preserve marriage as the union of a man and a woman.
I am a veteran with skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. I own several firearms, frequently shoot them, buy ammunition and consider efforts to infringe on my Second Amendment rights to be wrong and unconstitutional.
I fervently support the sovereignty of the United States, am deeply concerned about our economy, increasingly higher taxes, illegal immigration, soaring unemployment and actions by our government that will bury my children beneath a mountain of debt.
Apparently, all this makes me a “right-wing extremist.” At least that’s what it says in the April 7, 2009 “assessment” issued by the Office of Intelligence and Analysis at the Department of Homeland Security.
Fast-forward a couple of years. After one of several debt-ceiling melodramas in Washington, D.C., the Tea Party—that’s the name openly patriotic Americans often used when demonstrating in public a decade ago—demonstrated the most sanity of any of the main players, espousing fiscal sanity and following the Constitution. In response, the New York Times’ Maureen Dowd—in a
column headlined “Washington Chain Saw Massacre”—characterized Tea Partiers as “cannibals,” “zombies” and “vampires.” She wrote:
They were like cannibals, eating their own party and leaders alive. They were like vampires, draining the country’s reputation, credit rating and compassion. They were like zombies, relentlessly and mindlessly coming back again and again to assault their unnerved victims, Boehner and President Obama. They were like the metallic beasts in “Alien” flashing mouths of teeth inside other mouths of teeth, bursting out of Boehner’s stomach every time he came to a bouquet of microphones.
Again, let’s be crystal clear as to who is being talked about. “Tea Party members” was just a more recent label for people who in previous generations would have been described as normal patriotic Americans.
Normal people—regular, fairminded, live-and-let-live, lawabiding citizens with traditional values: work hard, save your money, play by the rules, help other people, don’t spend more than you have. These were the people being labeled

On cable news, pundit after pundit could be heard parroting the day’s talking points, likening conservative activists to terrorists.
• MSNBC’s Steven Rattner: “It’s a form of economic terrorism. These Tea Party guys are like strapped with dynamite, standing in the middle of Times Square at rush hour, and saying, ‘You do it my way or we’ll blow you up.’”
• Bloomberg’s Margaret Carlson: “They strapped explosives to the Capitol.”

Ironically, as former CBS newsman Bernie Goldberg observed during a Fox News broadcast, “These are people who don’t call real terrorists ‘terrorists.’”
In his book, “Jihadist Psychopath,” author Jamie Glazov drills down into this bizarre projection—or as he calls it, “transference”—in the chapter titled “Islam: The Eternal Victim”:
Transference applies directly to our story because, whenever one observes the elements of the Unholy Alliance’s propaganda (“Unholy Alliance” referring to the de facto alliance between the progressive left and Islamic Supremacism), one always finds the Unholy Alliance accusing its victims of the behavior that it itself is perpetrating against them. Moreover, it labels its victims with the names THAT BELONG TO ITSELF. For instance, we constantly witness anti-Semites calling Jews “Nazis” and accusing them, among myriad things, of treating the Palestinians the way that the Nazis once treated the Jews. And so now in our terror war, while the Unholy Alliance refuses to call jihad by its true name, it actually uses that very word to describe THE VICTIMS of jihad and those who are fighting to confront it. An example of this crude transference by proxy was on display when the Los Angeles Jewish Journal ran a cartoon on October 11, 2013, comparing conservative Tea Party activists to Islamic jihadists. The cartoon likened people who want to reduce government intervention and government spending to terrorists who engage in mass murder.
This tendency is found among many Democrats, who routinely call Republicans all kinds of names, including “jihadists,” “arsonists” and “terrorists.” We witnessed this behavior during the government shutdown in the fall of 2013. Interestingly enough, evidence surfaced that this strategy was devised by Obama’s top adviser, Valerie Jarrett. This practice of transference by the Unholy Alliance is vital for us to keep an eye on, for it is directly connected to the Jihadist Psychopath’s practice of ascribing victim status to himself and perpetrator status to his victims—and he does it all with the collaboration of his leftist lackeys. ■

THE TERM “GASLIGHTING” is defined as “an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control.” According to Psychology Today, “Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves. They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even their sanity. Over time, a gaslighter’s manipulations can grow more complex and potent, making it increasingly difficult for the victim to see the truth.”
In other words, when someone blatantly tells you day is night, black is white, wrong is right—and either genuinely believes his own lie, or is desperately trying to convince you his lie is truthful—then you’re being gaslighted.
The left has become the masters of gaslighting. Consider this incredible op-ed that recently appeared in that bastion of balanced thought, Teen Vogue: “The Modern American University is a Right-Wing Institution,” written by an assistant professor of history at the University of Massachusetts Amherst named Asheesh Kapur Siddique, Ph.D. (whose preferred gender pronouns are he/him).
What followed was the most extraordinary collection of bulltucky you’ll
ever read, all meant to convince the naïve teenage reader that progressives are poor pitiful victims of hateful conservative groupthink within the university environment.
“The modern American university is a right-wing institution,” writes Siddique. “The right’s dominance of academia and its reign over universities is destroying higher education, and the only way to save the American university is for students and professors to take back control of campuses.”
I don’t know what kind of brownies Dr. Siddique is eating, but wow, they must be strong. He sim-
ply ignores the provable facts that university faculties and administrations are devoid of ideological diversity. (A 2017 survey found that left-leaning administrators outnumbered their conservative counterparts by a 12:1 ratio.)
Apparently, two things contributed to Dr. Siddique’s bitter conclusion. One is the recent denial of a tenure-track position of journalist Nikole HannahJones “following conservative outcry over her work on the 1619 Project, documenting the history of slavery in the U.S.” This is despite the fact Ms. Hannah-Jones has never taught, so why should she be given tenure at a teaching institution?
Siddique’s second bone of contention is a tirade against the “corporate capitalist régime” that controls American university boards and is, he claims, directly responsible for tuition inflation, among much else. He seems to feel anything with a “capitalist” brush must therefore be conservative.
Oh, and he assures us “There is no ‘Democrat’ way to teach calculus.” Tell that to the Oregon Department of Education (among other places), which assures us math is racist and must be dismantled. Sounds pretty “Democrat” to me.
I think what Dr. Siddique is saying is that, in his opinion colleges and
universities are not yet full-fledged communist indoctrination centers. Currently, they’re only far-left, socialist, progressive indoctrination centers, which—darn it—just isn’t good enough. And it’s all the fault of those evil awful conservatives. After all, to a communist, all nontotalitarian governance systems are right-wing, oppressive and evil. ■

Christian Americans the real ‘threat’
THE BOOK’S TITLE SAYS IT ALL: “WHITE RURAL RAGE: The Threat to American Democracy.”
The two authors are both members of America’s privileged, elite class. Tom Schaller is a political science professor at the University of Maryland and former writer for the Baltimore Sun, New York Times, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times, as well as a regular analyst on ABC, CBS and MSNBC. His co-author Paul Waldman is a journalist and opinion writer for the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe and Chicago Tribune among others, and featured on MSNBC and CNN.
Together, they have figured out who comprise the REAL problem in today’s America: rural white people who believe in the God of the Bible and want America to remain free, decent and safe.
As a “Trending Politics” story showcasing a televised interview with
the two authors reported, Schaller “wasted no time in erupting into a lengthy anti-white tirade where he indiscriminately labeled rural white voters as ‘Christian nationalists’ who despise democracy and engage in ‘election denialism,’ among other things.”
Schaller cited his book’s claims of a dangerous “fourfold interconnected threat” to the nation from white rural voters.

“Third, anti-democratic sentiments. They don’t believe in an independent press, free speech.” And finally, “They’re most likely to say the president should be able to act unilaterally without any checks from Congress or the courts or the bureaucracy.”
Ironically, it is actually the Democrat Party, President Joe Biden and his political cronies who for years have been attacking the free speech rights of citizens. Indeed, the Biden administration tried to set up what essentially was a “Ministry of Truth,” as in the dystopian novel “1984,” which perpetrated nothing but lies and conspired with social media companies to sup-
press ideas Biden didn’t like.
Worst of all?
Schaller insists there’s a large population of “white nationalists and Christian nationalists” who are likely to “excuse or justify violence as an acceptable alternative to peaceful public discussion.” ■

‘Donald Trump is actually the moderate
RECENTLY, new polling showed what Democrats have long feared: Donald Trump is now in a commanding position to defeat Joe Biden and win reelection in 2024. According to the New York Times/Siena poll, Trump is up 48-43 over Biden; what’s more, Biden is actually underwater among Hispanics, earns just two-thirds of black votes, and has cratered among independents. According to the RealClearPolitics polling average, Trump now leads in every swing state but Pennsylvania and is within the margin of error there, too. Nationally, Trump has not trailed Biden since September 2023.
We all know what’s going wrong for Biden: He’s widely perceived as too old to be running again; Americans remain unhappy with the economy, deeply enraged over border policy and alarmed by the brush fires around the world. Biden came into office promising normalcy, and he has instead delivered chaos.
But there’s something else going on, too.
Joe Biden is losing to Donald Trump because of a dirty little secret: Donald Trump is actually the moderate in this race.
On nearly every issue, Trump is closer to the median voter than Biden. Biden won the Democratic primaries over Sen. Bernie Sanders in 2020 because voters thought he would tack toward the center, away from the insanity of The Squad in Congress—borderline psychotics like Reps. Cori Bush, Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. Instead, he entered office believing that he had a mandate for transformation, that he could become our age’s FDR or LBJ.
And so Biden abandoned the middle.
And median voters are now abandoning Biden. As election analyst Nate Silver rightly observes, the New York Times poll shows that “only 83 percent of voters who say they chose Biden in 2020 plan to vote for him this year, whereas 97 percent who voted for Trump plan to vote for Trump again. These are swing voters, in other words—people who are explicitly stating to pollsters that they are switching their vote from
Because the legacy media are monolithically radical on matters of politics, they keep encouraging Biden to double down on the left-wing base, hoping that by steering toward the radicals, he can boost voter turnout. But that strategy is leaving independent voters behind.
Meanwhile, Trump is winning over more and more vote-switchers. That’s because his positions are moderate. On abortion, for example, he may support a federal 16-week ban. By polling data, 48% of Americans support such a ban, compared with 36% who oppose such a ban. Only 24% of Americans support Biden’s position—availability of abortion without limits. On immigration, Biden is underwater by over 20 points. On inflation and spending, Americans favor lower inflation and lower spending—both propositions that cut against Biden’s preferred policies. On national security, Americans broadly favor Israel over Hamas—and yet Biden’s administration has steered toward the pro-Hamas voters in Dearborn, Michigan.
For some reason, Biden and his team think that their echo chamber strategy—shouting “January 6!” over and over while demonizing their political opposition as insurrectionists and traitors—is likely to jog enough base turnout to overcome their loss of the middle. But that’s a chimerical prop-
osition. Biden, in other words, has been suckered by the very people who want him to win most—the radicals in the media who keep ramming him toward the far left, even as he falls further and further behind in the polling. ■

Gender doctor: oppose amputating own children’s have a ‘mental
PSYCHOLOGIST DR. HARRIETTE WIMMS told attendees at a medical training summit that parents who do not affirm their child’s gender identity have a “mental illness,” according to audio obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The discussion took place at the World Professional Association for Transgender Health’s (WPATH) 27th annual training symposium in Montreal, Canada, on Sept. 17, 2022. Wimms, clinical director for The Village Family Support Center of Baltimore, suggested in a WPATH lecture on autism that parents who don’t affirm their children’s decisions are “transphobic” and have a “mental illness,” according to audio obtained in a public records request.
Wimms and several other doctors were discussing a case regarding a young adult referred to as “Silvian,” a biological female identifying as a man, who is also autistic and dependent on parents who would not affirm Silvian’s gender identity, according to the audio.
“Sylvian is a 22-year-old young man and uses he/him pronouns,” the
panel explained. “In terms of gender history, Sylvian was assigned female at birth, and first identified as a man at age 19. While in college, he remembers feeling uncomfortable living as a girl while in high school, but he didn’t say anything about it, because he didn’t know exactly what was going on for him.”
The panel goes on to say that Silvian’s parents, upon finding out about his transition, were upset “but assumed that this was a phase.” Wimms, however, had other thoughts about the parents’ beliefs.

“Here in the States, Janet Helms is a researcher who has explored racism for years and years and she says that racism and other isms are [a] mental illness and need to be addressed,” Wimms said. “And I think if I were working with this client I just might say ‘Okay, your parents, unfortunately, they are transphobic and I’m sorry and let’s figure out some ways to deal with their mental illness.’”
Dr. Wallace Wong, a psychologist who works with transgender children as young as two years old, was also on the panel and said he will remind hesitant parents that “inaction can sometimes be just as damaging as making the wrong decision.”
“I think it’s important to let them know if we do nothing, how would that affect the kid’s mental health?” Wong asked, “How will that worsen the kid’s gender dysphoria?”
In a previous DCNF investigation, Wong, who is listed as the co-lead for WPATH’s Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement committee,
explained to medical professionals in another training session that parents often have “irrational thinking” when their child claims to be transgender and that he tells parents that only children know their true selves. He also encouraged parents to talk about sex and gender identity with children as young as three years old. ■

Something supernatural is happening with President Trump. We are
“DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?” Remember those words by sports broadcaster Al Michaels when the underdog U.S. Hockey team won the Olympic Gold in the 1980 Winter Olympics. History has branded that game ... “The Miracle on Ice.”
See, in real life, miracles do happen. We live in a negative, cynical world. Few of us really believe in miracles—and even fewer believe a miracle is happening even when it’s happening right in front of us. But miracles happen all the time.
You just have to be open to seeing and believing in miracles.
I believe a miracle, sent directly by God, is happening right in front of us, right now. You just have to open your eyes.
President Donald Trump is that miracle.
He’s sometimes crude and rude. He offends so many. He angers so many. “The powers that be” want him stopped at any cost—even if they have to frame him by making up crimes that never happened.
He faces so many indictments and trials. He faces over 700 years in prison. He is being fined hundreds of millions of dollars and banned from conducting business. If he doesn’t spend the rest of his life in prison, he could end up losing his empire to bankruptcy.
He is painted as “Hitler” and “KKK” and a “white supremacist.” We are told he is “a threat to democracy.” If elected, his critics say, he will destroy America.
Virtually everyone in power is against him—from the D.C. swamp to the Deep State to the military-industrial complex (that wants wars around the world) to his own government agencies (CIA, FBI, DOJ, NSA) who frame him and spy on him.
All the groups who hold the most wealth and power in America are out to stop him—Wall Street, the “mainstream media,” Silicon Valley, the Bar Association, the teachers union, Hollywood, Madison Avenue. They all hate him. Foreign governments are desperate to stop him from ever gaining power
again. Global organizations like the WEF, WHO and United Nations despise him. Almost every globalist billionaire in the world is arrayed against him—George Soros, Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and all the rest.
Women call him “sexist.” Black Democrats call him “racist.” Gays call him “homophobic.” Muslims call him “Islamophobic” because of his unswerving faith and support for Israel. But American Jews vote against him.
Yet after all of that, Trump holds the lead over Joe Biden in virtually every national poll—leads in every battleground state that determines the election—leads among Generation Z (the youngest voters)—and in some polls leads among Latino and black males. A recent poll showed Trump leading among Jewish voters in New York state.
How is this possible?
It’s supernatural. It’s biblical. It can’t be explained. It’s a real-life miracle.

My nephew is a young doctor in California. He recently graduated medical school after being born with severe physical disabilities. He is a walking miracle himself, and testament to the power of faith and prayer. For the past decade of college, medical school and medical internship in California, everyone he met was a liberal Trump-hater.
Forty-eight hours ago, my nephew the doctor was working at a medical office in Los Angeles, and he witnessed what he describes as a “supernatural miracle.” The news came on the television in the doctor’s office. The topic was Trump’s primary landslide in Michigan. He was expecting either groans or hatred from everyone in the office. But then he witnessed something that shocked him like never before ...
Someone in the office cheered Trump. And then another. And another. Soon the entire medical office was cheering and celebrating President Trump. Everyone. Patients, staff, doctors. Once they realized it was safe to express support for Trump, everyone let it all out. Everyone admitted they are on Trump’s side. In Los Angeles.
My nephew the doctor said, “Uncle Wayne, it was a miracle. I never thought I’d ever see anything like this. Something supernatural is happening.”
There are those words again—“supernatural” and “miracle.”
And then real-life story No. 2: My childhood best friend is a strong believer in God. But he is nonpolitical. Yesterday, he reached out to me via text to say, “I’m going to say something very odd now. I don’t believe Trump can be stopped. He’s touched by God. He’s super-human. He’s got something supernatural supporting him. I don’t think anyone can stop him. In my lifetime, I’ve never seen a human being on the earth surrounded by this supernatural force. Trump doesn’t even age like all the other presidents in history. He looks the same as 8 years ago—even after all he’s been through.
He doesn’t ever get down, even though he’s taking deadly shots left and right. He’s superhuman, unstoppable, unflappable. We are witnessing a miracle.”
There are those words again— “supernatural” and “miracle.”
Do you believe in miracles? It’s time to start believing. What’s happening is supernatural. Everyone is starting to see it. Everyone is starting to believe. The signs are there. Trump is “the Chosen One.” Trump is sent by God and blessed by God. What we are all witnessing is “The Trump Miracle.” ■

REV. FRANKLIN GRAHAM, the president and CEO of both the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, says it’s increasingly evident that “an anti-Christ spirit [is] in the world today.”
One piece of evidence he cites is rampant antisemitism worldwide, including in America: “We’ve seen a rise in antisemitism around the world. This is very concerning—many Jewish people feel unsafe, even in this country where we thought antisemitism would never thrive,” he said.
Antisemitism exploded after last October’s mega-terror attack on Israeli civilians, when Muslim Hamas terrorists invaded Israel from Gaza and butchered some 1,200 civilians, often in horrific fashion. The result has been a surge in antisemitism from those who blame the troubles of the Palestinian people on the neighboring nation that continues to supply medicine, food and more to that population in Gaza.
But Graham warned of much more: “We have also seen a rise in hatred— or ‘disdain,’ as Fox News puts it—against Christians. This is fueled largely by agenda-driven media. They try to demonize Christians who are conservatives and people who support conservative candidates like Donald J. Trump, as if MAGA and Christian nationalism are bad words. They are fostering hate.”
Franklin there’s spirit
Graham, son of the late evangelist Billy Graham, offered a quote from the Bible, John 15:18: “Jesus said, ‘If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.’”
Explained Graham, “No question, there’s an anti-Christ spirit in the world today.”
His comments followed a report from Fox News that documented research from the Family Research Council showing a staggering 436 “hostile incidents” against churches in America in 2023.
“This is more than double the number tracked in 2022 and more than eight times as many as the group found in 2018,” Fox reported.
Graham: ‘No question, there’s an anti-Christ spirit in the world today’

“The group said it used publicly available data to track 915 acts of hostility against churches over the past six years. Most of the incidents were acts of vandalism. The report also found gun-related incidents, arson and bomb threats used against churches.”
According to the FRC document: “From January 2018 to November 2023, there were at least 709 occurrences of vandalism, 135 arson attacks or attempts, 22 gun-related incidents, 32 bomb threats and 61 other incidents (assault, threats, interruption of worship services, etc.). In 39 cases, multiple types of hostility occurred (e.g., vandalism and arson).”
On Feb. 11, two people were injured during a shooting at the Houston megachurch, Lakewood Church, in which the shooter also was shot and killed by security guards.
“FRC President Tony Perkins said the hostility toward Christians displayed by the Biden administration is mirrored by the growing persecution against Christians worldwide,” Fox reported.
According to Perkins, “There is a common connection between the growing religious persecution abroad and the rapidly increasing hostility toward churches here at home: our government’s policies. The indifference abroad
to the fundamental freedom of religion is rivaled only by the increasing antagonism toward the moral absolutes taught by Bible-believing churches here in the U.S., which is fomenting this environment of hostility toward churches.” ■
