Animal Neglect, Evergreen Lane, Montesano, 9:47 a.m.: Report of a horse that is not getting fed. The horse appears very thin but is not in immediate danger. Lost Property, Fairgrounds Rd., Elma, 12:08 a.m.: Caller reports losing his wallet during a warrant search. Feb. 26 Juvenile Problem, Paradise Ave., Malone, 7:32 a.m.: Caller reports that their son broke the door to the house by kicking it in. The son has since left for school and was taken into custody for malicious mischief. Juvenile Problem, State Route 12, Malone, 8:51 p.m.: Caller reports that their juvenile nephew didn’t come home from school today and his sister says that he plans to party all weekend. Caller says he is on probation with a 9 p.m. curfew and is taking drug classes. Animal Problem, Murray Place, Elma, 8:34 a.m.: Report of a dead dog in the bus shed. Caller requests it be removed before school gets out. Feb. 27 Juvenile Problem, Sixth St., Satsop, 10:14 a.m.: Caller reports that her juvenile son became mad and is at the neighbor’s house. Caller wants to report him as a runaway, but the department told her that since she knows where he is at, he is not a runaway. Caller said that he is not listening to her and won’t come home. Suspicious Circumstance, Gibson Creek Rd., Oakville, 10:35 p.m.: Caller says that someone has chased him right out of his pants.
Caller is wearing a black coat and underwear, says he is very cold and has no one to call to come and get him. Caller says that someone tried to grab him, but was only able to catch his pants and ripped them off. Caller says he possibly knows who did this to him but doesn’t want to press charges against a family member and doesn’t want an officer to “freak out.” The call-taker noted that the caller isn’t making much sense. The caller’s sister was contacted and said he may be under the influence. Noise Complaint, Murray Place, Elma, 12:08 a.m.: Report of someone who has been drinking playing his music really loud with all his windows and doors open. Caller says it is an ongoing problem. The man was very hostile towards law enforcement. Feb. 28 Suspicious Circumstance, State Route 12, Montesano, 5:51 a.m.: Caller reports finding bones near the river. Caller believes they are human bones because they appear to include a femur bone, a piece of pelvis and two legs with feet and ankles attached. Family Fight, Elma McCleary Rd., Elma, 1:05 a.m.: Caller reports that her husband has been drinking and she is trying to prevent him from leaving. She says she was sitting in the vehicle to prevent him from leaving, but he jerked her out. She says that he is currently at the neighbors and she has made arrangements for him to stay the night there and get sober. March 1 Suspicious Circumstance, Butler Mill Rd., Elma, 3:39 p.m.: Caller reports there is a bunch of “strange vehicles” going up and down the roadway and believes it is drug related. Driving Complaint, Elma Hicklin Rd., McCleary, 1:12 p.m.: Caller reports that people in a vehicle made hand gestures at the caller and was driving at a high rate of speed. Caller told the department that if he catches up with them, they better hope he doesn’t have a gun with him. The call-taker reminded him that he was making threats on a recorded line, so the caller stopped, said he was going home but is still upset about the hand gestures. Caller says they
are punks because they flipped him off and almost forced them off the road. March 2 Suspicious Circumstance, South Monte Rd., Montesano, 3:29 p.m.: Caller reports that someone tried to break into their home while they were at work today. Caller says they noticed someone in a beatup truck last week and as he got out, the dogs started barking so he left. Caller thinks it may be related. March 3 Harassment, Arland Place, Montesano, 3:41 p.m.: Caller reports that someone has been harassing her over the sale of a vehicle and has forged a signature to show the vehicle as sold to someone else. Caller does not want the person at her house anymore. Driving Complaint, Elma Hicklin Rd. W., McCleary, 7:52 p.m.: Report of a vehicle in the yard stuck on a stump. The driver reportedly took off very drunk and the
caller is currently following them. The caller was advised to stop following the vehicle. Domestic Violence, Fairgrounds Rd., Elma, 10:32 p.m.: Caller’s intoxicated boyfriend has choked her son and hit the caller. Children could be heard crying in the background, and then a struggle over the phone was heard before it was disconnected. One was taken into custody.
