Come along to WAVES for the FReeZA Pool Party! Jump on the WAVES inflatable from 5pm or just kick-back on the lawn with friends. The Empathy Project

Friday, December 1 to Saturday, January 27, 2018 Arts Space Wodonga The Empathy Project is a creative collaboration between a group of students and local artist, Mary-Rose Riley. Through a series of workshops led by Riley, students explored the concept of empathy, recognising emotions (our own and of those around us), as well as the importance of building healthy relationships from a young age. This exhibition forms part of the City of Wodonga’s involvement in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence. This global campaign seeks to raise awareness about violence against women and its impact on women’s physical, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing. ARTS SPACE WODONGA FOR KIDS

Summer Holiday Workshop Thursday, January 11, 2018, 10am to noon, Arts Space Wodonga NGV Kids on Tour 2018 and Arts Space Wodonga present a morning of children’s activities. Families are invited to create collages and experiment with folding, cutting and drawing Olga Chernysheva’s exquisite corpse. Visitors can take part in a collaborative board game containing physical challenges, trivia and drawing activities. The Empathy Project will act as an inspirational backdrop for the creation of self-portraits. Cost: Free Who: An all age family event
