What’s on in term two REGULAR PROGRAMS Tai Chi Tuesdays weekly during school terms - 5.30pm to 6.30pm Thursdays weekly during school terms - 10am to 11am Relax, recharge and rejuvenate in a session for all ages. Clear your mind and energise your body as you experience ancient, simple Tai Chi moving meditations drawn from nature. Highly qualified tutor Carol Smith will guide you through the sessions and ensure you have fun while building core strength. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a drink bottle. Relaxation Meditation Thursdays weekly, (excluding Victorian school holidays) 6.30pm to 7pm (Newcomers must arrive at 6pm) Learn the art of relaxing to support reducing stress and improve your overall health and wellbeing. Be guided through simple meditations that relax the mind and body and enjoy the journey to a deep level of relaxation and contentment. For more information please call Lynette on 0427 594 708. Spiritual Book Club Thursdays weekly, 7pm to 8.30pm Spiritual Book Club encompasses the learning of self-help psychology and human values. These sessions will allow you to discuss and research the writings from Eckhart Tolle while you learn about human values and the philosophy behind them. Craft ‘n’ Cuppa Fridays weekly, throughout the year (excluding public holidays). 12.30pm to 2.30pm Enjoy a relaxing afternoon and get crafty with others while sharing and learning new skills. Bring along your own craft project and enjoy a cuppa with friends. Program designed for all ages and abilities. Some materials supplied. Felltimber Community Pantry Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm Here to support local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity or hardship, the community pantry offers quality essential items for people in need. Operating as a self-service, the Community Pantry is accessible within the Felltimber Community Centre Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. It is restocked weekly with food essentials, baby supplies and toiletry items. This is a FREE support service to ensure no one in our community goes without.

Baranduda Ukulele Songwriter’s Kit (BUSK) Thursdays, May 6 to June 10, 5pm to 6pm Ages: Suitable for children ages 7 to 12 years. Families welcome. Learn an instrument alongside your child. BUSK is back! Join award-winning author, bush poet, singer and songwriter Peter Klein to learn the ukulele and produce a couple of songs. A fun and creative activity to learn with your child. Art Class - Unlock the Artist in You! Thursdays weekly, 6pm to 8pm Self-guided adult art sessions. Enjoy the company of like-minded creative individuals in the making process. Learn from each other on different techniques as you share your love of art in this two hour session. Enquiries: Baranduda Community Centre (02) 6020 8643 Cost: $10 per session. Tea and coffee provided. We supply easels, pencils, A3 paper and limited acrylics. All other supplies BYO. Pop-up Cafe Friday, April 30 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm Pop-up Cafe is back every last Friday of the month where you can enjoy the hospitality of Leti Gavioli as she provides you with a fantastic Italian dish. Come by yourself or bring your family and friends to get to meet other locals. You are encouraged to bring your own drinks and side plates to share with your family to accompany the main meal. Movement to Music - Murray Conservatorium Wednesdays, April 28, May 12, May 26, June 9, June 23, 9am to 10am For ages up to 7 years These sessions are child-centred and play-based allowing children to be actively engaged in their musical learning. Children will be exposed to a variety of instruments and will have the ongoing opportunity to play, sing and move to a variety of music styles, encouraging the learning of musical concepts. Friday Night Socials Second Friday of the month, commencing May 14 from 6pm to 8pm Fancy a Friday date? We are inviting you to our first ever Social Club! Friday Night Socials is all about getting together and getting social with others in the community. Come join the fun and contribute your ideas to a fun calendar of events. This activity is part of the Upper Murray Regional Neighbourhood House Network Behind the Scenes at the Neighbourhood House project, funded and supported by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation through the Prevention Partnership Program. The Behind the Scenes project aims to reduce gambling related harm by creating opportunities for people to connect and participate in community activity. To find out more about the committee and what is involved, please feel free to contact our staff. See contact details below.  Social Club facilitator required. Felltimber Community Centre is currently on the look out for a fun, energetic, community-minded individual who loves to organise social activities. The facilitator would need to commit to working Friday evenings once a month over a six month period. This is a paid position.
