Beginners Drawing with Leti Six Thursdays from August 4 to September 8 (six week program) 6pm to 8pm Cost: $150 Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw? Led by Letizia Gavioli, this six-week course is a perfect way to explore your passion for drawing, to learn new skills, to discover the secrets of shadows, and all at your own pace. Relaxation Meditation Sunday, September 4 2pm to 4pm Cost: Gold coin optional Learn the art of relaxation and mindfulness in order to reduce stress and improve your overall health and wellbeing. Be guided through simple meditations that relax the mind and body and enjoy the journey to a deep level of contentment. Craft ‘n’ Cuppa Fridays weekly, throughout the year (excluding public holidays). 12.30pm to 2.30pm Cost: Gold coin optional Enjoy a relaxing afternoon and get crafty with others whilst sharing or learning new skills. Seven week program. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Come and learn the basics of belly dancing with Sam from Border Belly Dance. Belly dancing is a low-impact, full body activity which is suitable for all ages, all sizes and all levels of fitness. It’s a fun way to get moving with no dance experience required. The centre welcomes the Murray Conservatorium to deliver a child-centred and play-based program allowing children to be actively engaged in their musical learning. Children will be exposed to a variety of instruments and will have the ongoing opportunity to play, sing and move to a variety of music styles, encouraging the learning of musical concepts. This is a fantastic opportunity to support your child’s development. Italian Cooking Masterclass Fridays, 6pm to 8pm July 1 - Gnocchi August 5 - Pasta September 2 - Gnocchi Cost: $40 per person, $30 concession Dive into an immersive cooking experience with resident chef Leti Gavioli as she takes you on a fun and entertaining food journey to her home country of Italy. While being entertained by your host, you’ll learn how to make Italian cuisine and sauces in the company of friends.
