Sustainable Living Fair Presented by Elmwood Living, Halve Waste, WAW Credit Union and North East Heating & Cooling.

Come along and enjoy more than 50 exhibits showcasing renewable energy, sustainable lifestyles, farming, environment, health and wellbeing plus amazing produce from the Gateway Village Farmers’ Market and great family food, fun and entertainment.

Right next door to this year’s fair is the Sustainable Activity Centre which will open its doors all week, with interactive workshops each day. From upcycled fashion through to making your own household and beauty products. For more information:

Join expert bamboo builder, Munir Vahanvati and learn the basics of building with this diverse and environmental material through live demonstrations and handson work. Craft your own sushi dining kit to take home.

Join Melbourne upcycling artist, Chloe Gunn, to learn the art of creatively recycling Bonsoy milk cartons into gorgeous wallets or old papers into beautifully handbound notebooks.

Join us for a fun-filled Sustainable Fashion Night, swapping summer fashions with new friends, learning about the impacts the fashion industry is having on people and the environment, and learn solutions to help make a change. 5.30pm onwards - Drop-off clothing items. 6pm Documentary screening of The True Cost a film exploring the impact of the global clothing industry on people and the planet.
