ABC Seamless ABC Seamless, the original seamless steel siding company, brings back to Big Iron XXXV its exclusive Horizontal Seamless Steel Roof — the portable roll-forming roof system that lets ABC installers manufacture the product directly on the farm, residential or business site. Farmers of all generations are now choosing ABC Seamless roofing, siding and gutters to safeguard and preserve their homesteads, farm buildings and other structures. Its superior protection and durability, not to mention its classic appearance, comes backed by more than 37 years of research, design and testing. Since 1978, ABC Seamless has installed enough seamless steel to circle the world more than three times. Also, ABC Seamless and its manufacturer have never discontinued an ABC style or color. It’s unlikely you’ll find another long-standing roofing or siding manufacturer able to make that claim. Anyone truly serious about protecting and preserving their home and farm buildings should take a closer look at these remarkable products.

Butler Machinery provides sales, rental, parts and service for many different industries and represents many manufacturers including Caterpillar, Challenger, Lexion, RoGWator and TerraGator. Butler Machinery started in 1955 when Francis J. Butler, a former Grand Forks, N.D., contractor, was selected to be a Caterpillar dealer. As a contractor, Francis knew the necessity for the dealership to provide the best in equipment and product support. In December 1988, Butler acquired the assets of Kearns Machinery Co. in Sioux Falls, Rapid City and Aberdeen, S.D. The company now serves customers throughout North Dakota and South Dakota. In March of 1999, a new store opened in Jamestown, N.D. BMC has committed to providing the best possible sales and service not only in heavy equipment, but also in agricultural equipment. Butler opened a new training facility and corporate headquarters in Fargo in January 2000. In May 2005, a new store was opened in Pierre, S.D., emphasizing ag equipment and product support for ag customers. Butler Machinery added another location, in Hankinson, N.D., in 2008. Kaler Farms The Corn Stalk Guide by Kaler Farms is an aftermarket attachment for most poly corn head snouts and some metal snouts. The product is designed to move the corn stalks into the combine more smoothly — improving the harvest of standing corn; with combine operators who are tired; in rows that are curved; or in less-than-ideal harvest conditions — leaving less corn on the field. More corn collected in the combine hopper; less corn on the ground. The Corn Stalk Guide is made of high-density plastic and is easily attached. Joel Kaler is a farmer with more than 30 years of experience. He saw a need for an attachment that would help keep the stalks moving smoothly into the head rather than being flung into the field by the gathering chain. No matter how good a combine driver anyone is, corn being flung or dropped is lost corn. That led him to consider fixing the situation and, after many different models, this is the one that works the best.

MudSmith Gauge Wheel MudSmith Gauge Wheel was born on a farm in northeast South Dakota in February of 2008 out of the need to deal with plugging problems with the factory gauge wheels on an air seeder and corn planter. The wheels were tested on the owners’ own farm before it was sold to customers. The wheels are designed to be as plug-free as possible, while providing increased durability and ease of maintenance. North Dakota farmers have been an important part of business, and the Mudsmith team would like to say thank you for all your support. We continue to update our wheels and are happy to announce a new, more open design wheel that comes with reduced weight and a lower price. Stop by our booth No. 919 at Big Iron and check it out. We’d love to thank you and visit about any needs you might have. BIOS: See Page 17
