Con éstos, se realizaban dibujos que reflejaban su vida cotididiana y la imagen que tenían de otras realidades que desconocen. El fin último era facilitar un medio de expresión más allá de las palabras que les abriese a expresar sus sentimiento y situaciones vitales por un medio con menos tabúes. A lo largo de los años, esta misma herramienta se ha usado para muchos otros objetivos... ¡Se han creado más de 300 cajas mágicas! The initial motivation of the magic box was to engage children in the creation of video animation artifacts with accessible materials in their community. With these, they made drawings reflecting their daily life as well as the image they had of other realities and cultures. The ultimate aim was to provide a means of expression beyond words that opened them to express their feelings and life situations by a medium with fewer taboos. Over the years, this same tool has been used for many other purposes ... More than 300 magic boxes have been created!

Marcos de doble cara que cuelgan de las ramas de los árboles. Cada lado representa conceptos opuestos: un lado un problema ambiental y el otro la situación óptima. Two-way frames, portraying pictures in each side, suspended from the branches of the trees. Each side of a frame represents opposite concepts: one side a local environmental issue, another side the optimal situation.

There are rights that seem prohibited for people with this condition. Travel, study, friends, sex ... We all create a space of trust in which to regain the rights we are not willing to resign, translate it into a collaborative short film that requires the main right: The right to pursue happiness.

Wapikoin invited VEDI´s creative and pedagogical coordinator, Guille Maceiras, to facilitate a lecture/ seminar to some of the most prominent members of indigenous film and video from all over the Americas, from Chile to Canada. The topic: learning collaborative tecniques for designing and implementing new cocreations altogether. Wapikoin invitó al coordinador creativo y pedagógico de VEDI, Guille Maceiras, para facilitar una conferencia / seminario a algunos de los miembros más prominentes de cine y video indígenas de todas las Américas, de Chile a Canadá. El tema: aprender técnicas colaborativas para diseñar e implementar nuevas cocreaciones en conjunto.

Su objetivo es fortalecer las capacidades de las/os futuros jóvenes profesionales de la cultura desde una perspectiva transformadora, colaborativa e intercultural. El alumnado aprenderá avanzados modelos de organización y gestión de la creatividad colaborativa; partiendo de sus raíces sociológicas, como el hecho social, para llegar a las más avanzadas teorías como la inteligencia de enjambre. It aims to strengthen the capacities of future young cultural professionals from a transformative, collaborative and intercultural perspective. Students will learn advanced models of organization and management of collaborative creativity; Starting from its sociological roots, as the the social fact, until arriving to the most advanced theories like the swarm intelligence.

Meta-emprende tiene como objetivo generar un espacio de encuentro y diálogo entre representantes de iniciativas iberoamericanas de apoyo a la cultura emprendedora en el sector del arte y la creatividad. Durante el encuentro se debatieron e co-idearon modelos innovadores, inspirados en nuevos paradigmas basados en la colaboración y la creatividad, de apoyo a emprendimientos en economía creativa que fomenten el respeto por la diversidad cultural. A reflection on the entrepreneurial culture, from the entrepreneurial culture. Metaemprende aims to generate a meeting space and dialogue between representatives of Ibero-American initiatives to support entrepreneurial culture in the art and creativity sector. During the meeting, innovative models, inspired by new paradigms based on collaboration and creativity, were discussed and co-designed to support entrepreneurship in creative economics that foster respect for cultural diversity.

El diplomado ofrece una visión holística e interdisciplinar de los elementos clave que cualquier persona dispuesta a emprender en el ámbito cultural debe conocer y ser capaz de gestionar innovadoramente. Para ello, nos enfocamos sobre todo al desarrollo de espacios de colaboración que incentiven la innovación abierta, y que estimulen la creatividad de cada participante con vistas a potenciar una juventud dinámica y comprometida con el desarrollo económico, social y cultural de su territorio. The short-time university course (3 months) offers a holistic and interdisciplinary vision of the key elements that any person willing to undertake and initiative in the cultural field must know and be able to manage in a innovative way. To this end, we focus on the development of spaces for collaboration that encourage open innovation and stimulate the creativity of each participant in order to foster a dynamic and committed youth with the economic, social and cultural development of its territory.
