PUBLICATIONS Women in the Arts Magazine Throughout 2020, Women in the Arts magazine, a benefit for NMWA members, illuminated the museum’s special exhibitions, programs, and collection with articles, artist interviews, and more. The magazine was a key platform for sharing stories and news about the museum and its programs during the temporary closure.
Judy Chicago: New Views In September 2020, NMWA and Scala Arts Publishers released the first major monograph on feminist artist Judy Chicago in nearly 20 years. The fully illustrated volume provides fresh perspectives on Chicago’s career from Sarah Thornton, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Chad Alligood, Manuela Ammer, Massimiliano Gioni, Philipp Kaiser, Jonathan D. Katz, Martha C. Nussbaum, and William J. Simmons.
