Bottle filling stations coming to the course!

BY RYAN BILL GENERAL MANAGER

Exciting news is rippling through our golf community as we gear up for the installation of water bottle filling stations on the Lake and Vineyard courses, following the success of the one at the river course bathroom. This forward-thinking initiative not only aims to provide golfers with convenient hydration but also contributes to our commitment to environmental sustainability. Bid farewell to costly water deliveries and embrace the era of reusable bottles on the golf course. It's time to dust off those Hydroflasks and Yetis—your trusted hydration companions for a round of golf!

The Need for Change:

While it may be tempting to have bottles of water delivered to all three courses, the economic and environmental toll is simply unsustainable. The cost of transportation and packaging adds up, not to mention the excessive waste generated by single-use plastic bottles. By introducing water bottle filling stations, our Club is taking a greener approach to hydration, encouraging members to be part of a solution that benefits both our wallets and the planet.

The environmental impact of single-use plastic bottles is undeniable. By bringing your Hydroflasks and Yetis to the course, you're actively participating in reducing plastic waste and supporting a more sustainable golfing experience.

As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of water bottle filling stations on the Lake and Vineyard courses, it's time for our golfing community to make a conscious shift toward reusable bottles. Bid farewell to wasteful water deliveries and embrace the cost-effective, environmentally-friendly option of bringing your Hydroflasks and Yetis to the course. Let's tee off with a commitment to sustainable hydration, one refill at a time. See you on the green with your trusted water companion!
